l of our wedding. They made what could have been a stressful process feel calm and effortless, and I never once had to worry about a thing.
Their communication was clear, their timelines were flawless, and they handled every curveball with such grace and professionalism. But more than that, they genuinely cared about us. They made sure our big day reflected who we are as a couple. You can tell this isn’t just a job for them; it’s a calling.
You cannot as for better coordinators than Planned to Perfection of the Bluegrass. Thanks to them, they helped create one of the most joyful, meaningful days of our lives. ❤️
We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire Planned to Perfection team. From the very beginning, they brought an incredible level of professionalism, creativity, ...
and genuine care to every detail of our wedding. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but they made the entire process feel seamless and even enjoyable.
They listened carefully to our vision and somehow turned our scattered ideas into a day that was more beautiful and meaningful than we could have imagined. Every vendor they recommended was top-notch, and their communication and organization were flawless throughout. On the big day, we were able to relax completely knowing everything was in their capable hands—and it truly was perfect from start to finish. All we had to do was show up, relax and enjoy the day!
Our guests were raving about everything and we know that’s thanks in large part to the Planned to Perfection team's hard work behind the scenes.

y is excellent at wedding planning. She has years of experience and is very professional, caring, and thorough. She knows so many different vendors, so she was able to help my daughter and I choose the perfect ones that suited my daughter's taste, budget, and style. She helped us design everything-ceremony, florals, reception, place settings, etc. down to the smallest detail, including a kid's table, which was a big hit with our littlest guests. Betsy really gets to know her brides (& Moms) and is very intuitive, so she can tell if her bride really loves something or just likes it. She makes sure her brides and grooms love everything.
Betsy is great with communication and very responsive to all meetings, calls, texts, and emails. She thinks of everything, and is very organized throughout the entire process. The day of the wedding, she took care of everything so my husband and I could enjoy the day and not worry about the details. My husband even gave her a shout-out during his speech, expressing our gratitude.
We are very satisfied with the team at Planned to Perfection of the Bluegrass and highly recommend Betsy. I would definitely hire Planned to Perfection again. 10/10
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Lyndsey and her team at Planned to Perfection. Planning a wedding is no small task, and as out-of-towners organizing a four-day event ac...
ross multiple venues, we needed someone truly exceptional—and Lyndsey delivered beyond our expectations.
From the very beginning, Lyndsey was calm under pressure and actively worked to understand our vision for the wedding. She helped us find amazing local vendors that perfectly suited our needs and budget. Her creativity and resourcefulness shone through as she constantly found ways to execute our ideas in the most cost-effective and beautiful ways possible.
One of the most challenging moments arose when we had issues with our hotel just weeks before the wedding. Lyndsey not only kept us calm but also took the lead in negotiating and resolving the situation quickly and effectively. Thanks to her, we avoided what could have been a major crisis.
Throughout the process, Lyndsey kept everything running like clockwork. All of our vendors—across multiple venues—knew exactly what was expected of them, and everything came together seamlessly. Many of our guests commented that it was the best-executed wedding they had ever attended!
Lyndsey also went above and beyond in so many ways. She even offered to handle some of the decorations herself with her team, helping us save money without compromising on quality. Her extensive network of local connections was invaluable in finding the right people to bring our vision to life.
Perhaps most importantly, Lyndsey was fun to work with and always proactive in resolving issues. She took the time to understand not just the logistical details but also the cultural and personal aspects of our celebration, ensuring every detail was meaningful to us.
If you are looking for someone who will make your wedding not only stress-free but truly unforgettable, Lyndsey and her team at Planned to Perfection are the ones. We are so grateful to her for making our big day absolutely perfect.
I can't express how grateful we are for Lyndsey and the PtoP team. Having no stress regarding day-of coordination is priceless.

wedding-day timeline of events and Lyndsey didn't hesitate to advise/coordinate the most efficient & effective way to ensure our vision was met. On day-of, our wedding exceeded our expectations due to PtoP's eye for detail, professionalism, exemplary communication with vendors, timely execution of events, and ability to swiftly pivot when unforeseen circumstances occurred. We are overjoyed with services provided by PtoP and highly recommend them for seamless event coordination.

Lyndsey went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect for us. She was there when we needed her. She was very professional, but still felt like a friend. She never ...
hesitated to step in and help wherever we needed her. Our other vendors spoke very highly of her and her organization skills as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

n I had and thought about the things I did not. On the day of my wedding I didn’t worry about anything, Betsy had everything covered. I will always be grateful for Betsy and Planned to Perfection of the Bluegrass.
We started out our wedding planning process thinking that maybe we didn’t need a wedding planner. Boy are we glad we ended up going with Betsy.
I’m a visual artist, my spouse, a m...
usician. We wanted our wedding to reflect our vibrant personalities and interests. I started out a lot of conversations with Betsy by saying, “Okay, this might sound a little nutty, but how about we do…”
Betsy ran with every single suggestion. It was incredible. The end result? A modern art inspired wedding complete with an interactive art gallery at the reception!
The logistics and planning: Betsy walked us through every single thing. She gave us options when we didn’t have a clue. Photographer, caterer, florist, band, you name it! She gave us things piecemeal, so it didn’t feel too overwhelming. She was also very accommodating in working with folks of a minority faith/culture, as both me and my spouse are Jewish and wanted a Jewish wedding.
The big day: I didn’t have to worry about anything. I mean, of course I did worry a little bit, because I’m an anxious person. But I didn’t have to worry. Betsy set everything in motion and when a conflict came up with the transportation (my fault), she fixed it immediately.
It was the most beautiful day. It was the best day of our lives. It was the start of something truly incredible. If you’re on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, here’s your sign. HIRE BETSY AT PLANNED TO PERFECTION OF THE BLUEGRASS!

request we threw at her throughout our entire planning process. Additionally, Julia and Betsy offered some great ideas that truly enhanced our special day. If you are looking for a team that will GET IT DONE, this is it. Everything was executed perfectly - literally not a single thing went wrong, which I do believe they call a wedding miracle. I call it Planned to Perfection :).

rfect wedding for us. Betsy took what we wanted into consideration. She found vendors and gave us options to empower us to make the decisions that were best for us. Betsy is clearly known and respected in the industry which helped every client-vendor relationship be simple and effective. Our wedding went so smoothly, and any hiccup that arose was solved within minutes. We could not have asked for a better wedding day, and Betsy helped make the whole thing happen. Hire her!

le offering thoughtful suggestions to make the day even more special. They recommended amazing vendors who helped to create the wedding we dreamed of and made for a low stress wedding day.
Throughout the planning process Betsy would respond promptly to any questions asked even when I was emailing or texting late into the evenings. Betsy was organized offering a multitude of resources she managed to help track details, to do list, and the budget from start to finish. Any concern I had she reassured me that the team would have it handled the day of the wedding.
The day of the wedding they went above and beyond delivering flowers for detail shots at an offsite Airbnb. All the vendors knew what our vision was and how the could contribute thanks to the PtoP team. My family and myself did not have to worry about any of the details the day of the wedding. Everything ran so smooth, and at the end of the night they packed everything into my in laws car.
I can not recommend working with Besty and the team enough, because they will bring the wedding of your dreams to life!!

Day of services were invaluable! All other services were frustrating and not worth the price paid.
If you are planning a small wedding this may not be the planner services you w...
ant to work with since there is one fee attached to services regardless of event size. Also, if you want to be heard and your vision valued, pass. Often through the planning process I voiced desired details that were ignored. I was hoping for someone that would listen and value my opinions without interjecting their opinions, and was let down. Being a gradate student, this service was supposed to be a valuable asset in our planning process, especially since neither of us are originally from Kentucky. I also asked for all big details to be taken care of before my last year of school began. I was told that would be no problem, but ended up taking care of things well into the fall after the semester started. This was after months of neglect in the spring and early summer. I was ready to terminate the contract mid-summer, but was given promise that things would begin to come together quickly and offered weekly update calls. The calls typically could have been emails and took up valuable time (probably for both of us) that wasn't necessary.
Details expressed more than once, like placement of chairs for ceremony, were missed until the walk through. Even with provided picture examples. Heaven forbid the bride has a tough relationship with her mother. I attempted to make this clear several times, and had to reiterate this during the walk through that I did not want entrances highlighted before the ceremony.
I wanted certain things to be kept a secret to my now husband that were loudly gone through during the walk through. Thankfully, he either didn't catch on or played my ruined surprise off well. After the rocky planning process this was the last thing I was expecting and was furious since I stated these details were to be a surprised.
I usually prefer not to write negative reviews, but was urged by multiple people as a warning to other couples about what they could potentially be getting into. I am happy there are other couples that have had excellent support and wish I could have had the same experience.

g planning details I didn’t even know to think of! She helped every single one of my ideas & details come to life even better than I could of dreamed of. On my wedding day she made the entire day run so perfectly- it was the best day of our lives and it truly wouldn’t have been possible without Betsy and her team. Betsy even steamed on of my wedding guests dresses which was soaked by a spilled drink! From helping find the perfect vendors, to communicating with our venue, to picking up decoration for the day of and even printing personalized table numbers when we forgot ours in another state days before the wedding, Betsy went above and beyond our expectations! t context and feedback for our ideas and rough plans, even well before we’d formally engaged PtoP.
Once we did, we were introduced to Julia who provided outstanding day-of planning and coordination. She made it clear she was always available and went out of her way to visit vendors with us, provide feedback, and generally help us keep our heads on straight as we planned a day-long affair with multiple venues. (All during Thunder Over Louisville, no less!) Her assistant Lily was also invaluable in realizing our vision for a very meaningful set of personalized table centerpieces for our reception, and went out of her way to support us during our first visits with vendors.
We’d jump at the opportunity to work with PtoP again—though we likely won’t need to anytime soon after a virtually perfect wedding day.
Betsy Lowe is excellent! When we hired her, we told that we didn’t want to “work” the wedding, that we want to “enjoy” every minute of the wedding. She made that happen. She man...

I couldn't have been happier than with the great service provided by Betsy Lowe while planning my wedding. We gave Betsy about a 4-month timeline to get everything planned and she ...
was on the ball immediately. She is very responsive and is an excellent problem solver. Essentially any request I had, Betsy could make it happen. It is obvious the amount of knowledge and experience she has in the industry. She has contacts with just about everyone, and even when we threw a novel request at her (a cigar roller!) she found a vendor that we were very happy with. She did a great job working with both me and my mom (and even my dad when he had questions). Most importantly, Betsy made the planning experience easy for me. I have a demanding job and sometimes I had very little energy to give to wedding planning. When I hit my limit, Betsy took the reins and everything turned out wonderful. We were very pleased with the cost of her services and thought it was reasonable and well worth the amount and quality of service we received. Couldn't recommend Betsy and Planned to Perfection more.

I can't imagine getting through the rehearsal or wedding day without her. She directed the rehearsal, which made it super easy. She provided a day-of timeline and communicated the timeframe with all of the vendors. She truly made our wedding day perfect and stress-free, which is what we wanted from having a wedding planner. We were able to enjoy every aspect of the day, as she even made up a plate of food for us to make sure we ate!
If you want to enjoy your wedding day and all the food, drinks, music, etc. you paid a lot of money for, try to fit PtP's services into your budget. It will be so worth it! I can't recommend Betsy and her team enough!

professional... And an absolute professional we got!! Betsy was AMAZING! I honestly can't recommend her enough. We live out of state and we were planning a wedding in Lexington, KY. Within weeks, Betsy had shown me multiple venues and we had a date and place set. Not only that, but we had a complicated wedding weekend with not one but two receptions, each with completely different cultures/styles/people. Betsy navigated it all beautifully!! My parents, wedding party, and everyone absolutely loved her, as did we.
Betsy was amazingly responsive and available through the whole process. She kept track of every detail so we didn't have to, from coordinating stage rental to catering set up and more. When we needed last minute makeup and henna artists, no problem. My wedding weekend was not without its own little glitches, but honestly I didn't even hear about them because I got to relax and get ready with my girlfriends instead, and Betsy had already taken care of everything. Honestly I don't think we would even be married yet if not for Betsy and PtoP's services! Thank you for everything-- best weekend of my life :)

Hiring Betsy as our DOC was one of the best decisions ever. After one extremely productive conversation (which was just our intro call), I knew that this would be the best gift we ...
could give ourselves and our families--- rather than have everyone set up, troubleshoot, contact vendors, and oh- figure out the whole timeline, we had an expert do it! It gave me a huge sigh of relief and I only wished I got her first thing.
Betsy is so well connected in the industry and gave so many tips and recommendations to keep us on track, and calmed me down many times. We planned the wedding long-distance, but knew that at the end of the day it would come together thanks to the help we received. She set up the wedding exactly as we wanted (and even let us borrow a few things), made us a plate of food to made sure we ate (THANK YOU!), and stayed until the end to pack up. The whole day was smooth and on track and it allowed us to just really enjoy ourselves. About a week ahead of the wedding, she contacted all the vendors and ensured they know where to go and when to arrive. Betsy also coordinated the rehearsal which made a big difference-- I appreciated that she checked in often and honored our preferences.
I can't recommend her enough- HIRE Betsy!!!
