Pittsburgh DJ Company: The Knot Hall of Fame and more!

at job of listening to what we wanted while also knowing exactly how to keep the reception flowing and the dance floor full. The music was perfect, the transitions were seamless, and he did an amazing job reading the crowd. Everything felt organized and effortless, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our night instead of worrying about what was happening next. Josh played a huge part in making our wedding such a fun and memorable night. Our guests had an amazing time, and we received so many compliments about the music and overall atmosphere. We would absolutely recommend Josh and Pittsburgh DJ Company to any couple looking for a DJ who will help make their wedding unforgettable!

ght thanks to Josh! Josh's communication before our event was awesome and he made sure to fulfill all of our requests. He even took videos of ou ballroom before the event and shared fun videos from throughout the night. I would 100% recommend him and Pittsburgh DJ Company to anyone who wants their wedding to be a blast!

ghly recommend

Dave Brehl, mixed our music taste in the wedding classics. He even downloaded music on the spot for some requests! We really appreciated their attentiveness to our guests and ability to get – and keep – folks on the dance floor all night!

lp us create an unforgettable wedding. One of the highlights was how he perfectly catered the dinner music to match the vibe of our venue — the Carnegie Museum of Art. It truly felt like we were transported to a 1920s dinner party. It was elegant, classy, and completely set the tone for the evening. Once the dance floor opened, it was packed all night! Joe absolutely crushed it. The energy was electric, and our guests haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had. He read the crowd perfectly and made sure the music flowed seamlessly. Joe, THANK YOU for helping make our wedding night so special. Those final few songs at the end were everything — such a perfect way to wrap up the night. You did an incredible job and we’re just so grateful we had you there!

y compliments such as "I have never seen a dance floor get packed so quick!" and "Your wedding was one of the most fun ones I have ever been to!" DJ Bob is great at what he does and knows how to read a crowd and keep the dance floor packed from start to finish!

r Wedding the communication was still well done! The only issue at this point was we had been assigned Chip Highley for our reception & Shannon L for our Violinist for the ceremony. The communication from here on out was tough. we weren’t allowed to speak with shannon directly, everything had to go through brian which caused a 3 way triangle affect and information was misinformed. The violinist Shannon was unprofessional and added extra stress to myself (the bride). We understood that her violin was not able to get wet and that weather was a concern. She was not open to other options as to where she could play like under a tenth, under umbrellas, under/ inside a suv rear hatch, and even gave us grief about playing under a completely covered porch. After the weather cleared and the sun was out there were still problems as to where she would play, until finally convinced to play under a completely covered porch in the distance, with a microphone. This was a huge hassle that would have been nice if she could have possibly went to the venue owners who were right there or someone else literally anyone else besides a stressed Bride. I truly do understand the wood on her violin couldn’t get wet but she was not even considering the other options before saying no. Most vendors help to receive stress on the day of your wedding, but this was truly the ONLY person we had issues with when things went wrong (& obviously they will). Now onto the Dj! Other than the confusion with who to ask what questions and trying to determine what parts were ceremony details for Brian and what was to be directed towards our actual DJ. The sheets they have you fill out could have been a little more clear and guided towards who would be needing to look at them! Otherwise talking with Dj Chip up until the wedding he was always available to talk via a phone call and seemed to be into any last minute changes we had. Although at the wedding reception things were announced incorrectly.. names were also announced incorrectly and not corrected & in the incorrect order, including our names the bride and groom. He also would announce things such as the cake cutting, shot dance etc. when we would be on the other side of the venue & have to come running & he’d already have the song we wanted playing and nothing would have been set up for the event he would have planned for. He called for the garter removal & started playing the song and my husband & I were not near each other little alone there was not a chair on the dance floor and nobody knew this was happening or ready to be ready for it including our photographers. This continued to happen the entire night with everything we did throughout the reception. One of the biggest things we wanted was everyone on the dance floor including a few slow songs. There were no slow songs & truly he did pretty well keeping everyone on the dance floor but not as well as he had made it seem he would do. We also had strongly emphasized our want for having each table number come to get a picture with us on the dance floor as a photo bomb picture. He didnt do the best at making this known. Overall there were many things we had wish would have went a little better! We understand accidents happen but a lot of things were not corrected or handled.

ges Chris never skipped a beat. Thank you for making our special day the best it could have been. Carly and Brian Conroy

our timeline, and he made sure to help us stick to it. We got so many compliments on genres, flow, and overall vibes of the music. He kept our guests dancing all night! I truly understand why Pittsburgh DJ Company is so highly rated, we would definitely recommend!!!

with our day of coordinator and the venue when we were a little behind on our timeline and checked in frequently throughout the night to make sure we were okay and kept us informed. He was the best DJ we could’ve asked for. The transitions between songs were so natural and he kept the dancefloor packed all night. I truly didn’t want the wedding night to end, he crushed the music and was just so easy to work with. Thank you so much Chris!

take a break from tha dance floor but couldn’t because she kept playing songs that we HAD to be out there for. He was also very kind, personable, and easy to work with. He absolutely elevated our experience and we’d recommend him to anybody in need of a DJ.

t at our wedding, and he kept the dance floor going all night long! Our guests continue to talk about how much fun they had and how great the music was. We cannot recommend Pittsburgh DJ Company and DJ Pat enough!

d definitely recommend him!

guests. Pat did it perfectly and kept the vibes throughout the whole wedding reception. We highly recommend their services. We found this company recommended on an online forum and are so happy we chose them. They were professional and organized throughout the process and were able to handle our requests seamlessly.

er not once but twice and handled it with such class. No one even knew he lost power! We will recommend you to everyone we can :) THANK YOU!

s sticking to the timeline and MC services, Pat was thorough and experienced with how to announce the wedding events and facilitating the flow. He announced everything well and kept the guests engaged. We give 4 stars, because we were looking for more pop EDM vibes on the dance floor really turning up the intensity as the night progressed (and of course a mix of top 40 songs and older jams that everyone knows), but felt that the overall song selection and mix/beats weren’t what we discussed on our call. The guests all had a great time, just would’ve like to hear more remixes and specific songs we included in our request list. For example, the only EDM song I can recall was sandstorm. We also requested a microphone for the officiant for the ceremony, which we did not receive, and our last name was pronounced incorrectly when being announced for the first time at the reception. Overall, the guests had a great time and loved the music, Pat and team were all very nice and familiar/experienced with how to guide wedding throughout the cascade of events. I would recommend this company, we just wish we would’ve received more of the mix of music we were looking for.

tive and professional, and he did a great job keeping the dance floor alive the whole night. Overall, we were really happy with DJ Pat and the Pittsburgh DJ Company!

The day of he worked diligently with our venue, photographer and us to make sure everything proceeded on time. He kept the dance floor packed all night long, with everyone from kids to adults! He was available anytime we had questions and eased any nerves we had leading up to it. Best DJ ever and for such a reasonable price!

on the dance floor. There were so many times I had thought to myself this music and energy are so fun! Joe was able to get everyone out on the dance floor immediately and kept them there all night long. I would recommend him to any couple that is getting married.

nted to make our day as special as possible, and he did! Our ceremony was not traditional, so he came to our rehearsal to make sure the music was correctly lined up with all the moving parts which was above and beyond. Our dance floor was packed all night! Highly recommended Joe!

he was. He made our wedding reception a true dance party. He was professional & well dressed. I would recommend him a million times over. We will absolutely be using him for future parties!!

and for that we owe our gratitude to DJ Joe O! He got the guests involved in the bridal party introductions, cake in the face (in place of a money dance) and the bouquet and garter toss. He even photographed our last dance for us after our photographers were done for the night. We also had a photo booth which our guests loved! We truly can't recommend them enough!

perfect. We worked with Dave as our DJ who took all of our wants and created a perfect reception for us, and Brian was amazing as their live music coordinator.
