Pink Flamingo Food Co. is a wedding caterer that is based out of Roanoke, VA. The experience of your big day is deeply important to the company, as they strive to help make your wedding memorable. They accomplish this through not only through the selection of cuisine but in the way the food is served to your guests.
Owned by Jim Schaal Catering Inc., the main focus of Pink Flamingo Food Co. is outdoor gatherings. The star of the show is Vera, a vintage airstream from 1965. At 28 feet long, the vehicle has been transformed into a bar and lounge. The design of this portable space is a reflection of the company's larger concern for the visual presentation of the food they serve. The cuisine is, however, more than just eye-catching, with a focus on crafting meals that are also palatable. Through and through, the experience becomes paramount.
Vera of the Pink Flamingo Food Co. is a versatile service. Vera can be set up for small gatherings of only 12 individuals to large galas of 300. No matter the size of your event, the service brings joy and provides a memorable ambience to your wedding. As the vehicle is large, the team must first ensure that the venue of your wedding is of a suitable size. Setting up the airstream is free, alleviating some of your stress. Besides Vera as a setting for enjoying drinks while mingling, the company also provides cuisine. They craft dishes to delight your loved ones for all manner of occasions, be it a cocktail hour or your wedding’s main meal.
