Pike Run Country Club was the perfect venue for our reception! My wedding was in August of 2016 and it was a great decision. I still get compliments from people about the location....
Greg, the manager, was amazing. He made the whole process of planning the reception so easy. The food was great. We had a "grazing" style reception, so there were no assigned seats. Honestly, I was a little worried about that at first, but it ended up being one of the favorite things about my reception.
Since a lot of our guests rented out the rooms at the club, we didn't have to worry about a traditional end time for the reception.
Everything about our reception was better than we could have imagined, and it was all thanks to Greg and his staff at the club. The amazing views are just a bonus! We ended up taking the majority of our wedding photos on site because of the views and the sunset over the golf course. We would not change a thing about our experience we Pike Run Country Club!
Pike Run was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend. We utilized the onsite accommodations to fit all of our family members. We wanted a location that could offer both the cerem...
ony and the reception and this venue did just that. No rush or hours of down time - just spending time with family and friends. The staff was fantastic to work with and allowed us to decorate the way was envisioned it to be. We brought in our own vendors for flowers and furniture rentals. The location of Pike Run is just 5 miles off the PA Turnpike and was easy to get to from Pittsburgh and other family members traveling in from New York and Maryland.
We wouldn't change anything about our wedding weekend at Pike Run.
Pike Run Club & Lodge, nestled in the Laurel Highlands, was the perfect venue for our rehearsal dinner. The Club’s rustic charm and sunset views created a romantic setting for the ...
night. We had about 80 guests and the staff was very accommodating. The General Manager, Greg, was easy to work with and extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. Since our wedding party came into town early we were able to use some of the Clubs amenities. A group went golfing Friday morning and we had a groomsmen trap shooting tournament in the afternoon. They loved it! Appetizers and dinner, prepared by Chef Matt, could not have been more amazing. He is very talented and helped us create a menu that fit the occasion and budget. We spent the evening watching a beautiful mountain sunset from the patio as our families and friends became better acquainted before the big day. I would highly recommend Pike Run for a rehearsal dinner or reception venue.
