Pigman's BBQ

Pigman's turned out to be the best choice for our small wedding reception. We began our search for a caterer miles away, making it tough for us to find the perfect place. While doing our searching, Pigman's BBQ came up and we emailed "Mama J" who had such a southern charm and was oh so welcoming to helping us figure out the perfect amount of food for our small wedding. The year before our wedding, we took a trip out to OBX to speak with our vendors and of course taste test some delicious food. Mama J invited me, my soon-to-be husband, my maid of honor and her WHOLE family to eat a sampler of all the food we will be having for our wedding. Best of all, IT WAS FREE. We had also been looking around for a bartender to help us with our reception, and Mama J coordinated with a local friend to help us out. This was a relief since we had so many other things on our mind. The day of, the Pigman's crew came early to set up, served our guest, cleaned up the tables and took the trash with them, leaving us all of our leftovers. It was so effortless for us. They were polite, friendly, and helpful, The food they served was delicious and we will be sure to stop into their restaurant each time we visit the Outer Banks.

Amazing Food and Dedication to Their Customers! We hired Pigman’s BBQ to cater our September 25, 2026, wedding in Nags Head, NC, and overall, we had a wonderful experience working with them! One thing that really stood out to us was their dedication to their customers. Their restaurant unfortunately burned down in June, just a few months before our wedding, but they still honored their commitment to cater our event. We were incredibly grateful that they continued working with us despite everything they were going through. And the food was AMAZING! Everything was delicious, and it was all packaged and organized so nicely for our wedding. You could tell that care went into preparing everything, and we were extremely happy with the quality of the food and how everything was presented. The only small hiccup we experienced was a miscommunication following the wedding regarding some additional charges. While I wish the situation had been clarified and resolved a little more quickly, it was a relatively minor part of our overall experience and certainly didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed their catering. At the end of the day, we were really happy that we chose Pigman’s BBQ. Between the delicious food, thoughtful packaging, and their willingness to follow through on our wedding despite such difficult circumstances, we truly appreciated working with them. We would absolutely recommend Pigman’s BBQ to anyone looking for delicious catering in the Outer Banks! Thank you for being part of our special day!
