About this vendor
Hello future Mrs. and Mr- I am so glad you found me! I'm a Washington native, UW graduate, mom of two and obsessed with photography - I have been for over 10 years.
After shooting 170+ weddings, my favorite thing about weddings is capturing all of those moments that even you miss (dad drying a quick tear) as well as framing your wedding to look like the event of the year (which it is! for everyone who matters to you!).
I loved my wedding, so I totally get it- It's amazing having all your favorite people under one roof and I'm here to make sure you get a photo of ALL OF IT, so you don't have to ask "did you get that?". I believe every couple should get the beautiful wedding photos they dream of, so while this is my full time job that feeds my kids, I do try to work with budgets when I can! Let's connect and see if we can be a power trio! :)

Marivel not only did a great job capturing the most important day of our lives, but also she was accommodating, friendly, and very organized. Our wedding pictures are very BEAUTIFU...
L, and we are so happy with our decision getting her! Thumbs up and highly recommended!
It was a great experience getting our engagement shots with Marivel! She took time to understand what we wanted, like having snow and trees in the background, etc. During the sessi...
on, she guided us on how to interact with each other, in a way which felt very fun and natural. She had a good balance on when to let us be ourselves, and when to make slight adjustments. It was very fun prancing around in the snow together, would definitely recommend! I also like that the final shots have different light variations for us to choose from. They look very professional.
Can i just say she is AMAZING! i was on the hunt for a photographer to take my save the date's and that is how i found Marvelous Photography. I reached out to her via messenger an...
d she responded to me within an HR. I had many questions in regards to the vision i had for my photo's, she answered and helped me with every single one very promptly too! We selected the perfect location, she brought additional outfit options for me which i did end up using and they ended up being my favorite pictures! From posing us, to making my fiance smile in his pictures (which is quite difficult), she hands down did such an amazing job! Thank you so much Marivel <3

her. Before the session I was hoping to have Pinterest worthy photos and she delivered! Marivel is so talented and I will use her for future shoots. I was concerned about styling for the shoot but she helped me every step of the way (and didn’t get annoyed when I sent a million outfit pictures). She responded in a timely manner to every message I sent and even sent a preview photo the next day. I even received all my photos from the shoot back in 9 days— 5 days before she said she would have them for me! Would recommend to anyone. You can tell she loves what she does, and she produces great work because of it! If photos are important to you, then book Marivel!

ivel was great to work with. From the time we booked to when we recieved our final wedding photos, Marviel was flexible and made the process very easy. We were thrilled to also have her take engagement photos so that we could work with her before the wedding and know what to expect. She gives great direction and makes everything feel very natural. Both the engagement and wedding photos turned out beautifully! We would not hesitate to work with Marivel again--she is personable yet professional, does fabulous work, and provides a great value for the price!

email and text extremely promptly—within minutes, sometimes!—and has always been sure to thoroughly answer all of my many questions.
We scheduled our engagement shoot on what turned out to be one of the rainiest days of the year, and Marivel happily agreed to change locations last-minute and brave Pike Place to capture some shots under cover. We had an amazing session together; she’s so warm and kind-hearted. We really appreciated her creative eye and willingness to bounce from location to location. She made the photo shoot comfortable for my fiancé and me, and always had a smile on, even though it was pouring buckets. Within just a few short hours after our shoot, Marivel had provided us with a “sneak peek” shot (which was SO stunning!), and she provided the entire album to us nearly a week before we were expecting it. The photos are incredible. She is a wonderfully talented photographer and I can’t wait for her to photograph our wedding!
Recap: she’s kind, professional, prompt, affordable, and EXTREMELY good at what she does. I can’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you so much, Marivel!
