In addition to our guests, they even made sure that the staff was taken care of - the photographer said that this was the first wedding he left full from! The team - Tara, Fami, and Amali treated us like family. They were ready to help with everything we needed and even made sure we had space at the restaurant at the last minute for a family brunch. After our wedding, we're going to go to Piccolo every time we need catering - or just a delicious night out for great food.

They paid so much attention the details with the stunning appetizers, white glove main course, and the impressive dessert station. Everything went so smoothly the entire day! Even when a guest spilled red wine on my wedding dress, Amali had the stain out in minutes (I still do not know how she made that happen but I cannot thank her enough)! irectors Tara Moran and Beth Welch for a successful, fantastic, beautiful tent wedding. The appetizers at cocktail hour were superb. I loved the crab cakes. The pasta station had home made gnocchi in vodka sauce. So damn good! My husband and friends raved about the cheese wheel. The dinner was absolutely to die for! Filet mignon cooked to perfection. Salmon so delicious that I ate every bite. There was chicken and even a vegetarian dish! People are still raving about the food and even loved how the servers tended to them. The servers stood attention behind each guest’s seat before serving them their food choice. It was spectacular to see. And we had 174 guests! Let’s not forget the bartenders. lol. I was never without my favorite French martini. The dessert tables were beautifully displayed with many different desserts including cannolis and macaroons! I have nothing but praise and admiration for Piccolo trattoria and its team.

On the wedding day and leading up to it, they were extremely organized and forward thinking. We got many, many compliments on the excellent food! For the months leading up to our event, Piccolo was kind, responsive, professional and thoughtful about making sure we had what we needed for the event we envision. They made a site visit to the venue with us, helped us create a list of needed rentals, and worked with us to make sure our guests' dietary restrictions were accounted for. During our tasting session at the restaurant to finalize our menu, it was clear that the team members had a great deal of respect and love for not only each other but for the food they serve. On the weekend of the wedding, Tara and Beth came out with the team to set up and make sure we had what we needed. During the event, the service staff was kind and professional--they went out of their way to make sure they knew which guests needed the special plates, and made plates for my partner and I to make sure we didn't forget to eat getting swept up in the day. They went out of their way to make sure that the after party snacks were set up at a different site on the property. And their handling of clean up, folding all tables, chairs and cleaning up linens and glassware to be ready for rental pick up, was absolutely invaluable. Their smooth handling of so many of the pieces dramatically reduced our stress around those logistics and allowed us to be present with our people. Our few very minor hiccups had to do with us not clearly communicating a couple of details we had prepped ahead of time (some signs we made for desserts that we brought didn't make it out to the tables, extra chairs we rented to give folks some space to move around had been put away so as to not be cluttered, etc). All of these were very much details that did not disrupt the flow of the event, and certainly didn't diminish what ended up being an absolutely extraordinary day. Extremely grateful for all their hard work in making the event so special and smooth!

They came in the day before the event and helped direct moving furniture, set the entire table of which they helped me imagine our table scape prior to the day. Renting the severing ware, china, serving and personal chef during the dinner was truly the best idea for our family. It was worth every penny and I would do it again this way!!! We were so fortunate they were available for our day and we would definitely book them again as they are able to do the smallest event to the largest event! Beyond all of that, the food was spectacular and the best catering food I have ever had!! They are so imaginative and truly helped me bring our day from “getting married at my parents house” to full on vogue style wedding. They even saved the day and helped us set up our ceremony space. They gave excellent suggestions. I had bought this super cheap runner from Amazon but didn’t even think it would get caught on my dress as I walked down the aisle. We used one of my family’s heavy Persian rugs instead and it turned into the most classiest thing ever. We ran a little late with the photographer but thankfully they were able to accommodate us as well. I just can’t say enough good things!

Our maitre d' was amazingly attentive, and made sure we had everything that we could possibly have needed. They took care of EVERYTHING from our food (which our guests absolutely loved) to our rentals including our tent, restrooms, tables, wine bars, chairs, linens, and glasses. Amalie & Fami worked with the rental companies from end-to-end and also recommended our DJ & Florist both of which I also couldn’t recommend highly enough. They were also very responsive to all of the messages, had great suggestions, and handled any changes that were decided on promptly! I can’t tell you how many of our guests commented about the food, music, the great service & staff, and how beautiful the tent was! They all thought I threw it together myself but, I was honest and said how it wouldn’t have been possible without them and the day-of coordinator Beth! The staff was highly professional, provided great service, and they were personable. Even the staff helped to make our wedding a fun one.

We were provided so many options and as our vision evolved throughout the year, Piccolo Trattoria had everything we needed from rentals to food options along with truly great people and advice. From working through the event order to delivery and set up - they thought of everything and added touches that elevated everything from wonderful to beyond our dreams. They have multiple types of catering to choose from, it is presented to you nicely in a packet to look over.. each and every thing we tried was amazing! The tuscan display during cocktail hour and the assorted desserts left all our guests saying WOW!! We went with the buffet option for our intimate backyard wedding and each entree was delicious. In addition to the delicious food the staff was exceptional.. serving and tending to the buffet line, checking in on us and our guests, etc. We didn't have to ask for anything once, they were 5 steps ahead the entire time. Even to cleaning up at the end of the night we noticed how efficiently they organized and packed things up for us (this was integral since we had the backyard wedding). All of our guests specifically commented to us how they loved the Piccolo staff. I could write so much and run out of space in this review post - WE JUST LOVE PICCOLO TRATTORIA!!
