eading up to the wedding she asked thoughtful questions about what shots and style we wanted as she truly tailors her photos to what her clients want. If you see her instagram, you can tell she truly does understand her clients’ visions and captures them beautifully. Mkay was also very communicative and responsive when my husband and I had any questions along the way leading up to the wedding. On our big day, Mkay made sure everyone knew where they needed to be when it came to taking our photos, and it was impressive to see how she guided different groups of people, (families and bridal party) seamlessly, making sure we got all the shots we wanted. On top of that, Mkay was just the biggest hype-woman and so much fun to be around. Both my husband and I’s family, along with our guests and bridal party complimented our photographer as well on how on top of things she was. Lastly, of course, our photos came out BEAUTIFULLY. We had a full Catholic mass for our ceremony and Mkay captured the most important moments of the ceremony in such a beautiful and reverent way. Our shots throughout the rest of the truly captured the style and feel that we wanted as well. Our golden hour shots especially were my personal favorite. Highly recommend booking with Mkay! She’s the best!

that was just the universe telling us we HAD to go with our original first choice. From the first outreach, to my bridal shoot, to our actual wedding day, Mkay's communication was beyond top notch. She also had easy to complete questionnaires to take all of the guess work out of which photos we wanted the day of. The most important thing for my husband and I as an alternative couple with a unique wedding concept was making sure our photographer got us, and from the jump Mkay GOT us and was so on board. Our colors were so vibrant, the vibe captured was so goth, horror, rock n roll, and everyone in our wedding party LOVED her. My favorite comment on the night was "Your photographer is a badass, she just tells me what to do, and I really like that!". Our wedding party felt so beautiful/handsome and cool in front of the camera, because Mkay made it so natural to be in front of the lens. On the day of our wedding, Mkay made sure we stuck so tight to our timeline we actually had breathing room! Both pre-ceremony and post cocktail hour, my husband and I had a moment to sit, breath, and be present in the moment. This was so important to both of us, and we can't thank Mkay enough for making sure that was baked in. Mkay was also a whole vibe in herself - She was ON that dance floor tearing it up with the rest of us which I KNOW is going to get us the most rad photos. For the posed photos, she was so supportive and clear in her pose coaching that everyone felt so comfortable with her and with the candid photos, she blended in so seamlessly it was like she wasn't even there (in the best way, because the photos are going to be so natural)! To end a gushing, rambling review, I leave you with you should ABSOLUTELY HIRE MKAY! Her professionalism, talent, and charisma are unmatched, you won't regret having her as part of your wedding day!

not tell you how glad I am that I chose her! We used her for engagement and wedding photos and they are all absolutely STUNNING! She is so easy to work with, easy to talk to, and she will keep things running on time so you don't have to stress. You can just enjoy the day and have fun with it! Her prices are also incredibly fair (I compared a lol of photographers) and let me tell you, you are getting some serious bang for your buck. A good photographer can take good photos, a great photographer can edit those photos, a fantastic photographer can do all that AND guide you through being photographed, make you feel comfortable, and make it look effortlessly gorgeous and thats exactly what Amanda did! I can be a bit awkward in front of the camera and I'm not always the most photogenic and I seriously could not believe how much I loved these photos. I think my husband and I both looked amazing while still looking like ourselves. (After seeing these photos I'm pretty sure my husband could have had a career as a model). When I uploaded an engagement photo to the home page of our wedding website, several people commented that at first glance they thought it was a preset editorial photo because it was so glam and gorgeous they had to take a double take to realize it was us! She makes you feel comfortable and like you can be fully yourself, but she’s also very organized and can get even the littlest of flower girls or rowdiest of groomsmen to stay focused to get the pictures on time. Her work is gorgeous and incredible as well. We chose the package with a second shooter, and worked with George as well and he was also phenomenal. We didn’t have a wedding videographer, but he filmed the most beautiful short minute and a half video of our wedding day and surprised us with it during the reception. It was so special. We got that video and a handful of gorgeous teaser pictures the next morning after our wedding. We’re so happy and could not recommend them more.
