We loved Kristin's work from the moment we found her website, and we were hooked on her from the moment we met her at our engagement shoot. The engagement shoot, for which we trave...
lled to Kingston, NY, was so intimate - it felt like a couples retreat. The opportunity to see Kristin's amazing work prior to our wedding day made us so comfortable with her. So, when it rained all day on our wedding day, we felt confident and taken care of in her hands. The rain meant a complete reworking of the plan for first look/formal photos. Not only did Kristin have plans in mind, but she scoured the neighborhood for even more options upon arrival. In the end, she made a pretty basic hotel lobby look like a paradise - it was unbelievable. Though we were so bummed about the rain, we felt so grateful to have a photographer who we trusted implicitly. Words cannot explain the weight that lifted for us. Book Kristin - it will be one of the best decisions you ever make!
I cannot even begin to say how amazing Kristin was. To start off, we had a super fun engagement shoot with her a few months before our wedding. We knew we liked her that day, but w...
e super impressed when she sent us the photos mere days later - and they were great (and very us!). On our wedding day, Kristin was the perfect photographer - not intrusive, but willing to cajole difficult family members so I didn't have to. She was kind, caring, and totally got our laid back, fun vibe. I highly recommend hiring Kristin for a wedding, particularly if you want a fun, cheerful photographer who has an incredible, artistic eye!
We are beyond grateful to have had Kristen to capture the most important day of our lives. My husband and I typically clam up during photo ops, so it was so important to have someo...
ne as warm and imaginative as Kristen to make us feel comfortable (even excited) to have our photos taken. We first met Kristen during our engagement shoot, at an abandoned, graffiti covered army fort. She was up for exploring it just as much as we were, and was able to find the perfect balance between finding creative spots to shoot and capturing honest moments of intimacy. She carried that same energy into our wedding day. She was able to work with our schedule that changed the day of, while also being a comforting presence to my niece who was frustrated with the adults who were still getting ready, in addition to a disorganized and panicked bride.
Having someone there to document our day who felt genuinely excited to be there took so much pressure off the both of us. I cried so many times browsing through our photos, as she really managed to capture so many beautiful and ridiculous moments we now have preserved.
Thank you so much, Kristin!!!!!!
Kristin has an amazing eye and captures special moments when you don't even know she's there. She was so relaxed and made us feel so comfortable all day. She shot over 600 photos...
and when I look at them - every photo makes me smile.
