Tiana is a very loving caring person. She goes above and beyond even tho I’ve had everything all planned when we hired her we still needed her expertise
Posting here as my wedding wire review on Phoriah Events has been taken down.
I would not recommend this business as I worked with Tiana on planning my wedding a few months ago an...
d my wedding day suffered. I received many complaints from my family members who noticed certain aspects leading up to and on the day of the wedding were disorganized. Tiana showed up extremely late to the rehearsal and I remember asking her about rehearsing the reception entrance and she told me no one rehearses the reception entrance. During the reception, the wedding party ended up being confused on where to go while dancing in because of the reception setup, all of which is visibly captured in the wedding video.
I also received many complaints from guests due to seating arrangements being messed up. Couples weren't seated together due to misplaced tags, while others had missing or broken name tags. Something that could have been avoided with simple double-checking. This was frustrating for me because I spent time working on the seating arrangement chart which I sent over to her.
The vendors she recommended were highly unprofessional and did not deliver as expected. This is mainly because Tiana failed to disclose details she discussed with vendors on my behalf; which led not only to me being immensely disappointed but also to unpleasant exchanges between myself and one of her recommended vendors.
When discussing with Tiana about the issues I had with her service and her vendors, there was no apology or ownership, instead, she kept talking over me and tried to gaslight me into changing my review. There are no reviews of these vendors anywhere so if you like to know about my experience with them, feel free to reach out to me on Instagram @yaddela
Wow! I'm not sure where to begin. Hiring Phoriah Events was an excellent decision. As I had no prior experience with event planners, I was not certain what to expect. However, Chri...
stiana exceeded all of my expectations. She's organized and detailed. Christiana was always a phone call or text away. In fact, I was impressed by how promptly she always responded. Christiana's experience with vendors and contract management proved useful. The work ethic displayed by Christiana was impressive. My wedding day was beautiful because of Christiana and her team's dedication to excellence. My husband and I will always be thankful to Christiana for making our wedding memorable. It's a shame to only be able to give Phoriah Events a five star rating. Christiana deserves twice as many stars. I highly recommend Phoriah events. Enlisting this vendor's services will be money well spent.
We decided to book Phoriah Events for day-of-coordination about a month before our wedding and we are so very glad that we did! Tiana started working with us immediately, she conta...
cted and confirmed all of our vendors, she helped us create a detailed timeline for our wedding day, communicated with our venue to answer any questions from our vendors, and kept us on track for completing all the things that needed to be completed in the weeks leading up to the wedding. My husband and I had an Indian wedding ceremony and Tiana made sure that she asked any questions that she had about the ceremony and traditions so that everything went exactly how we wanted it to on our wedding day. Tiana also attended our final meeting with our venue and our rehearsal and always went above and beyond to make sure everything was to our liking and more importantly that we were not stressed and that we were enjoying the process. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we really do credit Tiana and her team for making all of our plans come to fruition that day. We did not have a worry in the world because we knew Tiana was there and we are so grateful for her time and efforts. All throughout, Tiana showed us professionalism and also kindness - she truly wanted us to enjoy our wedding day and we absolutely did, thanks to her and her team. Thanks, Phoriah Events! We could not have done it without you.

I couldn't have gotten any more from a day-of coordinator. She is so much more than someone who shows up the day of the wedding. Nothing would have come together as well as it did...
if it weren't for her. She's the absolute best, made sure I was fine at all times and extremely professional. My wedding was a success largely because of her!!!
I highly recommend Tiana and her staff. She went above and beyond what I contracted her for. I planned 90% of my wedding with some help from my mother. I hired Tiana a few weeks be...
fore the day just for "day of" coordination. From the moment I hired her she took over with contacting vendors and working out details I had not thought of. She attended the rehearsal for our outdoor wedding and when we realized the weather wouldn't cooperate, which we didn't plan for, she jumped into her contacts and got me beautiful decorations for our indoor backup room at a great price. I definitely appreciate her help and support and will be recommending her to a few of my engaged friends.

She definitely helped us manage our budget, we were very impressed. I will definitely recommend this planner to anybody and everybody looking for an event planner

We planned our wedding in 6 months and wouldn't have pulled off our dream wedding without Tiana.
Tiana is resourceful, exceptionally creative, responsive, detail oriented. At ou...
r first meeting, she asked us for a vision of the day and took note of everything we articulated. A few months later, I was vacillating between 2 colors and she reminded me that I had mentioned that I didnt like one of the colors during our initial meet. I was surprised that she remembered and that was only one of numerous instances where she helped us to stay true to the vision for our wedding.
Tiana is dependable and reliable. If Tiana was taking care of it, then it was off my list. It is a breath of fresh air to work with a competent professional. Her ability to think quickly to resolve crisis and emergencies is remarkable.
On our wedding day, I had zero worries on my mind because I trusted her to take care of whatever came up. We were not disappointed. She did a superb job and we are very pleased with the quality she delivered.

sonable budget, which is exactly what I was looking for. If you need a planner, choose Phoriah Events!
I met my wedding coordinator through a friend of mine whose wedding was actually a week apart from mine. From our first meeting, I knew she was God sent because I had just placed a...
big bomb on her by telling her my wedding was only 2 months away and it consisted of three important events and there was no room for cutting corners: Traditional African ceremony, Wedding ceremony and the evening reception. I just knew this will be challenging for anyone but Tiana took on the task with no fret. Always consistent, persistent and encouraging even when I tried to give up on things that meant something to me but seem impossible, she always found a way. She helped nail down almost all our selected vendors within a week after meeting. She worked diligently with our budget and strive to stay within our limits. What can I say the girl got MAGIC TOUCH! Because on April 4th, I was not disappointed one bit. I could have turned around thinking this wasn't my wedding because that was how good it looked.
While getting prepped for the ceremony, two of my glam squad made a comment that really is a testament of God and a God sent event planner. They said "this is the first CALM bride they have worked with" Well my mind was at rest because I was rest assured Tiana got everything under control. It was a TRUST and CONFIDENCE built over a little short time and I will forever owe a big part of our wedding success to Phoriah events. If you want her now, better not hesitate because she already won the hearts of many of my guests who will be booking her services for their upcoming events.
