Philadelphia String Quartet

and cocktail hour. The music was present but never overwhelming!

for my processional. It is such a special song to us and really made the ceremony magic! Can not recommend them enough.

l of our requests! Loved that we were able to curate our Cocktail Hour playlist based on their extensive portfolio of music. My husband and I are huge Star Wars fans, and we requested "Across The Stars" to be played during the prelude. I cannot convey how beautiful their arrangement was and how excited it made us as we got ready to head down the aisle. It felt so magical, and our experience was truly perfect. Thank you to the amazing team and the talented musicians at PSQ!

ocktail hour, added a DJ + the quartet for the first hour of the reception (to cover the first dances and such) and then the DJ for the rest of the night. It was such a unique option for a wedding and turned out perfectly. Cannot recommend PSQ enough!!

o and DJ for our event. It was a dream come true... they went absolutely above and beyond to make our day so special. The music was just beyond amazing and made the vibe of our wedding so perfect. We felt that they really understood what we wanted, and delivered. I cannot recommend them enough.

ing phase, asking initial questions and gathering what we wanted, Philly string was so awesome from the beginning. They gave us recommendations, yet listened to our vision of what we wanted. We wanted fun, upbeat non conventional wedding music for our ceremony and cocktail hour and they MORE than delivered. We had a trio play for the ceremony and cocktail hour for our Philadelphia wedding. Our wedding party did their processional to Forever by Chris Brown, and I think it was one of my favorite parts of my whole wedding. It kicked off such an amazing party. They even delivered on our last minute request for the thong song for cocktail hour (lol), and our guests LOVED it. They had an awesome playlist, the artists themselves were so enthusiastic, engaging, and you can tell they truly love what they do. They were responsive and attentive throughout the whole process, and we really could not have imagined our wedding day without them. Philly string is first class at what they do, I promise you will NOT regret booking them. Thanks so much PSQ!

ssive and their performance is flawless!

ade the cocktail hour. Mugu was great with preparation and communication, and I knew I could trust him and the team to execute perfectly on our plans. I would highly recommend hiring them for your wedding to really "wow" your guests!!

e in a movie. They also learned any song we wanted and kicked ass at our cocktail hour! They even snuck in some them songs from shows we love and some Disney music. Their electric instruments were also so cool. It was amazing entertainment. There are no words when the music speaks for itself! Simply incredible, our guests are still complimenting our string quartet. PSQ was so easy to work with throughout the pandemic and all of the changes, played every song we had on our list, and made our special day spectacular. I can’t wait until I have the privilege of being in their audience again. Mugu is so easy to work with and Laura gets back to you right away, making everything seamless. So lucky to have had them be part of our day!

up and dancing during cocktail hour! They played along with our first dance music and really helped make the moment feel magical. Our guests could not stop talking about how great the musicians were and their amazing song choices. From the start the communication with Laura and Mugu was great and I would highly recommend PSQ to anyone -one wedding guest has already inquired for her own wedding!

rofessional and kind to work with, and the musicians are extremely talented. They were so beautiful to listen to during the ceremony and during the cocktail hour they had people grooving to the music as they were eating! They made our day so special!

but then switched to a harpist and violinist and were very flexible and understanding. They have an incredible repertoire of songs they can perform and the process to book them is easy and headache free. They also have links of sample music to showcase their abilities which are endless! The day of it was incredible to have them perform, true artists! The ambiance and music they brought to the ceremony was honestly one of a kind and one of the best decisions for our wedding. Thank you for an incredible day and wish you all the best!

tter than we imagined! Thank you so much!!

s whenever I needed and offered input when I needed help with music choices. You won’t regret booking them!!

them was to play songs about love from any decade, and they delivered. We had guests dancing during cocktail hour they were so good! Thank you for being a part of our special day!

tiful pieces of music for our ceremony - and then helped choose the most fun and modern music for our cocktail hour. These individuals are gifted and talented musicians. They exude joy in their work -- it is clear how much they love what they do! Their spirit comes through in their music and performance and I cannot say enough how amazing they were. Our guests were blown away by their performance...and especially loved how they subtly mingled through the cocktail hour on wireless instruments. PSQ helped make our day beautiful! We would highly recommend them to everyone and we are hoping to find another occasion someday to soon to work with them again! They are wonderful people. Thank you Mugu, Miha and all of your musicians and staff for a terrific experience!

! We got lots of compliments noting what a beautiful touch the strings were. We are so glad we booked PSQ! I will always remember walking down the aisle to my husband hearing “Oh God Beyond All Praising” with the most elegant string music!

dding.

epared for my initial call with Mugu - I had no clue how in depth he would get on music selection so early on. He is truly passionate and knowledgeable and was a pleasure to work with. A month or so before the wedding we were having a really hard time selecting music ... so Mugu sat on the phone with me for 30 minutes discussing different options. I still wasn't sold - so we texted back and forth for days until the right ceremony music was decided upon. At cocktail hour Mugu and his partner played current popular music, including the Game of Thrones theme song. We have gotten endless compliments on our cocktail hour music and PSQ is to thank. If I have the opportunity to work with PSQ and Mugu again in the future I absolutely will - and would recommend their services to all.

on for the day Mugu and his team were easy to contact, professional, always responded right away, were extremely helpful, and very pleasant to work with. You can be as selective with the music as you want or you can let them make recommendations. They were a dream to work with and I highly recommend.

d fun. My guests could not stop commenting on how wonderful our ceremony and cocktail hour music was, especially the game of thrones theme song on their electric instruments! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

ons or concerns was within 24 hours of reaching out to them. Our string duo sounded beautiful and added an extra personal touch to our wedding. Everyone was extremely professional and friendly. We highly recommend PSQ!

ally enjoyed all the different music genres that they played.

du and the skill and sensitivity of their playing, we were delighted with the group. Mugu worked with my daughter (vocals) and son (piano) to perform a special selection during the ceremony, which was stunning. Look no further and book this group with confidence!

, easy to work with and made sure that our needs were met. They were extremely accommodating and professional and worked with us to ensure that the music selection was perfect. The musicians were a wonderful addition to the wedding as the music they played was beautiful. We received many comments on how lovely it was. I will certainly utilize their services again.

beautiful and PSQ was responsive, professional, and helpful. Cannot recommend PSQ enough!

he communication was great, and the musicians were already familiar with the music we selected. The did an absolutely incredible job at the ceremony. Mugu and the other musicians seriously blew everyone away. They even coordinated with our rabbi before the ceremony and played backup to his prayers. I am so glad we ended up going with PSQ. They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. They were worth every penny.

eard their music that it would be perfect for our special day. Everyone we dealt with at PSQ was so friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to work with from the start, and I have been meaning to write this review for weeks and wish I had done it sooner, as I highly encourage other brides and grooms to chose them as well. We knew that the music would have special meaning for us at our wedding, especially during the ceremony, and PSQ brought tears to our eyes as I walked down the aisle and just the perfect mix of emotion and elegance that we had hoped for. Their song list was extensive and they are willing to play just about anything you request. We hired them for our ceremony and also the outdoor cocktail hour, and my only regrets are that I didn't have them play longer and that I didn't get enough opportunity to just sit and listen as the bride. They are truly amazing and will make your wedding day that much more special. My husband and I plan to hire them again in the future for a future celebration. We were so very lucky to work with so many talented vendors for our wedding, and PSQ were one of the very best - don't hesitate to hire them !!!

ns and addresses your concerns as soon as he can to put your mind at ease. We had a long list of songs for our ceremony and reception. He planned it carefully so the recessionals music perfectly matched the party entrance. We also loved how the PSQ was able to arrange the score to "Still falling for you by Ellie Goulding" for our first dance. They came in on the chorus of the song to give more climax to already a beautiful song. The accolades and wonderful reviews for this group of professionals are to be trusted! We are so thankful we found PSQ! We had absolutely amazing experience with them! Thank you guys!!

very easy and he transformed our vision to reality seamlessly. I had seen PSQ at other events but they truly exceeded my expectations and were very flexible to work with (i.e. timing location, etc.). The ceremony was beautiful and made our wedding feel magical & classy. The cocktail hour and dinner, with the electric violins, completely blew guests away, I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend their services, a truly talented group!

anted our wedding to be the standard wedding...but with some flare. We had them play their acoustic instruments for our ceremony for that "serious" aspect of the day, but we selected songs that were more pop and it was absolutely perfect. Magu and I were even able to sync when he would switch the quartet to a more upbeat version of "Marry You" as I walked down the aisle. PSQ also played for our cocktail hour with their electric instruments and were absolutely fantastic. They played the perfect selection of songs and at the right volume. They weren't overbearing where they stole the show, but they weren't so quiet that you didn't know that they were there - it was balanced in every way. They are all musicians who absolutely love what they do and it shows in any of their performances. The only downside that I have is I don't have another event where I would need them to play!

rainy day and a late start but none seemed to notice as they were mesmerized by the lovely music! Thanks PSQ! I would highly recommend the PSQ to anyone desiring beautiful classic music their special day.

c tone for our day. The Cure never sounded so classy! We requested to walk down the aisle to "Only You" by Yaz & they specially arranged the music for us since it wasn't in their repetoire. we worked with Monique & she was a charm to work with & even more beautiful in person!! i can't say enough great things about the quartet. they will always be a great memory from the best day of my life. thanks monique & crew!!

arted a little late due the parent limo going to the wrong church! The music was beautiful and one of the most complimented aspects of the wedding by guests! I was over the moon to have them play at my wedding - what a unique group and their range is excellent. We incorporated modern and traditional music and it flowed beautifully and made things really fun. Their rendition of Vida la Vida by Coldplay as our exit song is something I'll never forget. It was so cheery and upbeat and I think it really surprised guests to have such a well versed group playing at a wedding. I cannot recommend the PSQ enough. They were an absolute highlight of the ceremony and overall wedding. I wish I could have been a guest and listened to them play the whole time. Do yourself a favor and hire them - you will not regret it!

t!

er fun. I would highly recommend the PSQ for anyone looking for that special touch for their wedding.

ords such as 'breathtaking, romantic, classic, memorable and special" were all the buzz at our wedding to describe PSQ. It was an absolute pleasure from the very start to have worked with Laci and Mugu. They created a playlist that told a story of our love together. It was personalized just for us. I only wish that we could experience our wedding day all over again. Every bit of it, including PSQ, was truly magical!!!

they were and where did they come from. Many commented on the beauty of the strings and peace it brought them. We debated on having them at our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. Our Wedding Mass was perfect and can't thank Magu Radu and the Philadelphia Quartet enough for a job well done. We highly recommend them to all.

is responses are always prompt, and all members of the group(s) are excellent musicians and wonderful people. It is a pleasure and an honor to work with the PSQ.

ensembles. Mugu, from PSQ reached out to me several years ago to collaborate my services with his at weddings, on occasion. From the first time that I worked with PSQ, I knew that they were truly something special. Their talent level is beyond compare and live performance is both entertaining and engaging. The electric portion of their performance immediately blew me away. Adding PSQ to your entertainment package, whether it be for ceremony only, or the inclusive ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner will set your affair apart from any other that you have experienced. Call them today! You will thank yourself.
