About this vendor
Hey All,
My name is Pete Kilpatrick and I'm an acoustic singer/songwriter from Portland,Maine. I have been writing and gigging professionally for quite a while and have since performed over 1,200 concerts across the country. I have shared the stage with artists such as Dave Matthews Band, David Gray, Ray Lamontagne, The Barenaked Ladies, Guster, and O.A.R. My sound is comparable to the Fray, Coldplay, Matt Nathanson and Mat Kearney.
I have released seven studio albums and my music has been featured on NBC's "The Office" and "Parks and Recreation," as well as FOX's "New Girl," and MTV's "The Real World." I am able to perform a variety of originals blended in with covers ranging from classics to more modern songs.

Pete and his band are AMAZING. You are beyond lucky if you get them. I can't imagine they'll be playing weddings for that much longer. They are not a traditional wedding band (than...
k god). Find him on Spotify. Their music is awesome and they're just super super nice. They played a fantastic concert for our wedding and all generations loved it. If you want good music at your wedding and not your traditional covers, this is the band for you.
We were completely blown away by Pete's professionalism, flexibility, and INCREDIBLE voice! He was super easy to get a hold of and connect with in the months leading up to our wedd...
ing, and his beautiful voice (and guitar skills) perfectly complimented our rustic, romantic barn wedding. Some of our guests came up to us after the ceremony and said he brought tears to their eyes with his gorgeous rendition of Tracy Chapman's "The Promise" and Jeff Buckley's "Halleluiah." He has such a range and was able to sing all of our favorite songs for the cocktail hour, and even took the time to learn some of the more obscure songs on our list that he didn't know. Cannot recommend Pete enough - he was so friendly and easy to work with, and his talent is truly special.
Pete was exactly what we were hoping for. We had him play instrumental only for the ceremony as guests were arriving. Tale as Old as Time (instrumental) as the bridal party proc...
essed in and then sang Hallelujah as the brides walked down the aisle. We also had him sing a short song that tied into the officiants sermon in the middle of the ceremony. Pete has a fabulous voice - and is just a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend you book him if you are looking for a live music vibe. This piece was very important to me, and I'm so glad we decided to book him. He played upbeat covers at cocktail hour and the party really enjoyed it. Highly recommend following him on instagram (acousticpete) it helped us make our decision as well as get us excited for the day! You will not be disappointed!
