The day before my wedding, I had my hair and makeup trial with Amanda for the welcome party. I don’t normally get hair or makeup done, so I was nervous about the process but Amanda put me at ease with how she walked me through the makeup process and tailored my hair/makeup based on my initial feedback. She also listened to my concerns about my dry skin and carefully prepped my face with that in mind. She took notes from our trial and passed them onto Robyn, who would be my day-of hair and makeup artist. 10/10 experience with Amanda.
And the day of the wedding was absolutely perfect with Robyn! She arrived on time and ready to prep the space for each person in the wedding party. We had a range of ages between 38 and 61, and she made all of us look and feel our absolute best on that day. I never thought I’d say this but I felt like the most beautiful version of myself on my wedding day, and it’s all thanks to Robyn. (I was so happy I could’ve cried but I wouldn’t want to mess up the makeup!!) My eyebrows never looked better, and I think I’ll be dreaming about my wedding day hair for years to come. She absolutely nailed the aesthetic I was hoping to see, and just as importantly, she made my mom and sister both feel like their absolute bests on the day. Robyn is exactly who you’d want with you on the morning of your wedding day, and I’m so glad she was part of mine. 10s across the board!
Separately, two wedding guests visited Petal Salon for manicure and pedicures and both were super happy with their services. Definitely recommend to all your wedding guests!
I had Robyn for my wedding day, and she did a fantastic job. I was coming in from Jamaica with a bridal party that varied greatly in skin tones, and she made sure every single one ...
of us felt so beautiful. Our shades ranged from the lightest to the deepest, and the result was exactly what I wanted - so natural, so flattering, and so polished.
I also booked Petal Salon after my trial, and I immediately knew I’d made the right choice. The owner, Amanda, is also a gem. She made the communication process so smooth—she was professional, sweet, and genuinely easy to talk to throughout.
There were even multiple changes on my wedding day, including venue changes twice, and updates to my inspo pic. Not once did they seem annoyed or thrown off. I was a bride from out of town, and they still made everything feel effortless and fully catered to me.
Brides- please walk with an inspo pic. I did, and I got exactly what I wanted. On my day, I felt absolutely beautiful.
Amanda and Robyn were the best glam duo I could have asked for!! The Petal Salon team traveled to my destination wedding and they are so talented. They were professional, on time, ...
had great communication throughout planning. Most importantly, they made me and all my girls feel absolutely stunning. I would recommend to any bride who is looking for a hair and makeup team, especially for destination weddings.
robyn went above and beyond. i felt like i had known her for years! my bridal party and i looked absolutely AMAZING! i couldn’t be more happy and grateful 🩷🩷🩷 10/10

re everything was perfect from start to finish. Beyond her incredible talent, she was kind, personable, and made me feel glamorous during both my trial and on my wedding day. She was also incredibly easy to talk to, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I couldn’t have been happier with the final result!

ost importantly, she brought my vision to life exactly as I imagined it. I wanted a soft, pink, romantic look, and she delivered it flawlessly with both my hair and makeup.
Her professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to keep everything running on schedule made such a difference on such an important day. I felt beautiful, confident, and completely myself. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Robyn to any bride looking for a talented and reliable hair and makeup artist!
There were a few timing challenges the morning of that were outside of the makeup artists’ control, which we understood. However, we did end up starting almost an hour late (partly...
due to valet issues then set up time) and while I personally wasn’t stressed at first, it became overwhelming once we realized how behind we were.
There was also a last-minute change in the makeup artist, and the replacement did not seem to have all of the details for each person, for example, I did not want false lashes and she wasn’t told from the owner (who i did my trial with and emailed before hand to confirm no lashes). The change wasn’t communicated ahead of time, which made things feel a bit disorganized. I loved it in the end but was taken back when she put them on and I let her know that’s not what I wanted.
The results were mixed. 3 were happy with their makeup, but three others were not. One bridesmaid had to have her makeup completely redone by another bridesmaid because it didn’t align with the inspiration provided.
To their credit, the makeup artist (sorry can’t remember her name), were kind and did try to be accommodating throughout. Jade did hair (I did my hair trial with her) all of the hair turned out beautiful—everyone loved their hair. My hair fell down during the second line but that happens when you’re dancing.
Overall, hair was great, makeup was ok but clearer communication, better preparation, and more consistency would make a big difference.
3 people did hair and 6 people did makeup. Price was great for what we got.
Robyn SLAYED my hair. I was so nervous and after some back and forth (internally with myself) I decided I wanted to really look like myself and wear my hair down (like I usually do...
) but I really wanted it to look elevated. Robyn knew the vibe IMMEDIATELY. Blowout, light curls, VS Angel bombshell vibe. She absolutely nailed it! It held all night and into the early morning. I was obsessed with my hair - still am!
The perfect start to a destination wedding day!

er) put all my concerns at ease. We were planning a destination cruise wedding and had an incredibly tight morning schedule to ensure we could travel to the ship on time. Amanda was so accommodating, ironing out every detail to make sure myself, my bridesmaids, and the mothers were all ready right on schedule.
I knew I was in good hands after my engagement shoot trial, but on the wedding day, Amanda really blew me away. We made some minor adjustments on the fly, and she executed my half-up, half-down style and makeup perfectly. Robin was also incredible—the makeup for all the girls was absolutely stunning.
They traveled to our hotel, brought everything they needed, and were so kind, professional, and welcoming. They even gave us touch-up bags with the products they used so we could stay fresh during travel. They truly felt like a part of the group. I am so grateful to Amanda and her team for making us all feel beautiful and keeping the morning so stress-free!

Robyn is truly one of a kind—her talent, energy, and presence made our wedding morning unforgettable in the best way. She did makeup for me, five others (with a wide range...
of complexions, skin types, and ages), and made every single one of us feel confident and beautiful. She even styled our flower girl’s hair, and it held up perfectly all day in the New Orleans humidity! Our flower girl was obsessed with the hair style all day.
Beyond her incredible skill, Robyn has the most genuinely kind and calming presence. You can feel the good vibes from her the moment she walks in. She kept the entire getting-ready process calm, fun, and stress-free while also making us look and feel gorgeous. Our hair and makeup lasted from 9 AM until well after 2 AM without a single touch-up needed aside from lipstick, which she provided.
Robyn is simply unmatched in both talent and spirit. I couldn’t recommend her more!
They were so professional and sweet ladies. I was absolutely in love with my bridesmaids, mom, step mom, and grandma's makeup and hair! I was absolutely in LOVE with my makeup and ...
hair! I gave them a few inspiration photos and they did even better than the inspo images! I will definitely use them again when I need to get my makeup and hair done!

I absolutely loved working with Amanda for all my wedding events! She is so calming, chill, and knows just how to make your vision into reality! Could not recommend her enough!

rehearsal dinner & wedding. Amanda and her team nailed all of my visions to an absolute T. I am a very particular person and I can't even pick one thing I would've changed about anything. I can honestly say I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life. Even my pickiest bridesmaids were OBSESSED with their glam. Everyone looked drop dead gorgeous. I have been in a lot of weddings and have never experienced a glam squad that is so top tier. The only sad part for me is that I am not local to New Orleans so I can't use them more often, but I will absolutely be making an appointment every time I visit in the future.

h fun with Robyn and Tanay while me and my bridesmaids got ready on the morning of my wedding. I received countless compliments on my hair and makeup on the night of my wedding! I would recommend Robyn and Petal Salon to any bride looking for a great hair and makeup experience for their wedding events!

rust is key. Robyn made me feel totally comfortable, listened to what I wanted, and nailed the natural-but-glam look I was going for. I got my makeup done at 10am, and by the time my reception started at 8pm, it was still completely flawless. I felt beautiful, confident, but still totally like myself the entire day. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

n’t have picked a better team. They arrived early to set up and started makeup exactly on time. We finished hair and makeup on time for 9 women! On top of that they were such nice and lovely ladies, contributing to the fun and laughter of the day. Both are so responsive, responding to every text and email with grace and reassurance. I hear nightmares about makeup always being a problem or running late but not with the Petal team! Would recommend immensely.
I cannot say enough good things about the team at Petal Salon, specifically Robyn and Amanda, who made me and my fellow ladies look absolutely amazing on my wedding day!
A bit of ...
context I did not do a bridal party, but instead offered on-site hair and make-up to my mom and sister along with the groom's mom, sister, and niece. We were a very diverse group in-terms of age, complexion, and hair types -- from super fine and straight to naturally kinky and curly -- and I let everyone choose their own hair and make-up looks. Robyn and Amanda made sure everyone left their chairs feeling great!
The moms were not used to wearing make-up at all and wanted minimal looks, Robyn and Amanda checked in with them throughout the process and even went back and removed some make-up to make them feel more comfortable. Other ladies went full on glam and that wasn’t an issue either.
As someone who gets my hair and make-up done often, I know what it’s like to feel pressured to accept something you don’t love and I really appreciate how comfortable Robyn and Amanda made everyone feel to give feedback and ensure they loved their looks. Robyn redid my mother-in-law’s hair when she decided to change up her look mid-styling and Amanda even took the time to trim my sister’s ends to ensure the style she wanted looked its best. They truly went above and beyond.
As for me, I reimagined my hair and make-up look in the months between my trial and the wedding and I was a ball of nerves wondering if it would look the way I envisioned on the morning of the wedding, but it was perfect – a soft, romantic glam with a 90’s French roll.
From start to finish Petal Salon offered a very personalized experience, I loved their energy and vibe and booking them was by far one of the best decisions I made for my special day!

to the day of look, she absolutely slayed every detail. She is extremely genuine and professional. She truly cares and made me feel so special and beautiful. Her time management and awareness also helped immensely in the exciting but stressful day. Tanay was the other incredibly talented artists we had and her work on my bridesmaids and mom was sooo pretty. The two of them helped create such memorable and happy moments. I will forever be grateful. Thank you to Petal Salon, and to Robyn and Tanay ❤️

arching for stylists and makeup artists for myself and my bridal party, I stumbled across Petal Salon on instagram and fell in love with their work and soft, feminine aesthetic. After meeting Amanda and her team at my bridal trial, I was sold! They were so welcoming and kind and Amanda did my hair and makeup to perfection! On my wedding day, Amanda and Robyn arrived on time, set up quickly and got started on bridal party makeup right away. Amanda had a wonderful playlist going with the most beautiful love songs while she did my hair and makeup. Both ladies were so attentive, friendly and fun which really helped me and my bridesmaids relax. My bridesmaids and I have never looked more beautiful and I’m forever grateful to the Petal Salon team for making the best day of life so memorable!

gnment, what my vibe is and she did the thing! I remember miraculously finding her on IG. I love my looking back at wedding pics and photos till this day bc of her. I’ve also noticed artists stick to one look when it isn’t a one size fits all when it comes to esp makeup. Her blending technique and her passion truly show in her work. I wish I had her in Dallas with me!! I went to get my hair done in her new salon and she still didn’t fail to impress. 12/10 recommend my girl 💖
