emony that was a surprise to our guests. After connecting with PU via Thumbtack back in mid-2023, we spoke with Matthew who immediately understood the importance of our vision. Our wedding was held at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland, Ca. It started off as a friends and family screening of a short film (the Bride was the director, the Groom was a crew member). Then, during the post-film Q&A, we revealed to our guests that we were getting married right then and there in the theater. Not only did PU coordinate a film screening complete with red carpet, step & repeat photos, food, drink, DJ and more, but they helped transition into a full wedding ceremony. Meshawn ran point on everything: rehearsal, procession, recession, cake, etc. Stellar team members, Angel and Rakisha, executed everything flawlessly. Angel acted as the special events coordinator, making sure our tech was on point (sound, picture, graphics, everything!) and she even made a reel for us to post on our socials. PU was up for the challenge of our 2-in-1 surprise wedding/film screening, and they rose to that challenge with much aplomb. For what we asked for, they could've up-charged us greatly. PU made us feel heard and seen throughout the process. We wanted our wedding to be a collaboration between BIPOC businesses and creators celebrating what we can achieve when we work together. Thanks to PU for what they promised, perfection.

d professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail. Every aspect of our special day was flawlessly executed, thanks to their meticulous planning and organization. Meshawn and Matthew demonstrated remarkable flexibility, ensuring that every unexpected challenge was met with a calm and composed demeanor. Their ability to handle complex situations with grace and efficiency truly set them apart. They were not just coordinators; they became an integral part of our wedding journey, providing unwavering support and guidance throughout the entire process. On the day of the wedding, everything ran as expected, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the moment. The decor, timeline, and vendor coordination were seamless, creating a magical atmosphere that left our guests in awe. The dedication and passion of the team were evident in every aspect of the event, making it a day we will cherish forever. Additionally, I must commend the team for their extraordinary dedication and problem-solving skills. On the day of the wedding, just moments before the reception was set to begin, a crucial detail was left behind in our hotel room. Without hesitation, the coordination team swiftly sprang into action, ensuring the item was retrieved promptly and seamlessly incorporated. Their quick thinking and willingness to go the extra mile not only saved the day but also demonstrated their unwavering commitment to making our wedding flawless. This level of commitment, combined with their exceptional organizational skills and creativity, truly made our wedding day unforgettable. We are immensely grateful for their hard work and would highly recommend their services to any couple looking for a wedding coordination team that truly cares about making your day perfect in every way. Thank you, Meshawn and Matthew!

ing. The team met with us many times to discuss our vision and what we needed help with. They even helped play our wedding playlist for walking down the aisle as we opted out of a dj. I felt like they went above and beyond what we were expecting (even ensuring we had food to eat because we were so busy interacting with guests). We recommended Perfection Unlimited to a coworker and they also had amazing things to say. I so appreciate their team and all they did to make our day run smoothly.
