My now-husband and I were able to have the wedding of our dreams at Parque this past month. We had a full-service planner, so admittedly didn't have much direct contact with Peacht...ree, but everything we heard secondhand was that the team was smooth and accommodating. Our direct interactions were great, too.
First, the venue is unlike any other. We planned 2+ years out, so we had room to be picky, and Parque came out on top among all the venues we considered in the Philadelphia area. I wanted a picturesque setting, with the drive there just as much a part of the story as the venue itself. The setting really delivers in early autumn—peeks of red foliage among the green leaves and the sun shining through. Then an opening within the park, with a beautiful stone mansion and intimate yet expansive gardens. Everywhere you look is a picture-perfect moment. During cocktail hour and even the reception, the inside and outside become one, with guests flowing freely between the stone patio and ballroom. We truly felt like we were in our own secret garden.
Second, Peachtree accommodated all our requests. We had a custom vision involving draped walls, thoughtful lighting, rental furniture, and little touches that made the wedding feel like us. I kid you not, we never heard a “no.” Pinspot lighting for each table? Done. Poke bar while getting ready? Done. Storing existing lounge furniture and rugs for our own rented sets? Done. Amuse bouche before the first course, tableside bread service, and an interactive espresso martini experience? Done, done, and done. Even when I requested details that I wasn’t sure they could accommodate, they went above and beyond. I asked for eggs for our late-night ramen bar, and they delighted me and my guests with soy-marinated eggs. Each detail was perfect. I know from other venues that this kind of ease is not the norm.
Third, the food was delicious. We had duck, filet, and scallops, each thoughtfully composed according to our private tasting. The cocktails were outstanding, too, including a signature mocktail based on a drink I'd had at an NYC restaurant just weeks before the wedding.
I especially want to give a HUGE shout-out to Grace, our primary liaison, who put me at ease in every conversation and, most importantly, delivered. From day one, I'd said I wanted the reflecting pool to look perfect for our first look. Technically it's not even part of the venue—it's state park property—but Grace worked her magic to have it fully filled and ready for our big day. She even bought a pool skimmer, which was iconic.
Overall, we would highly recommend Parque and Peachtree Catering! Truly could not have had a better venue and team for the very best day.
