There is a quote by Sue Bryce that has always stuck with me, “Sharpness is never my priority, emotion is.” To me, photographs are not only made great by the technical composition and techniques used but the way you feel when you look at them. In a way, I want my photographs to have a heartbeat, and to not only look pretty or appealing but to remind us of what we saw and how we felt at that moment.
I hold a special place in my heart for photography. Creating images that tell stories of the people, places, and things we love in this life, capturing the world we see every day, parts that we only get to enjoy once in a lifetime, and pieces of it that we miss.
I love ‘different’. I love weird. I love real.
I’m not your everyday photographer.
I am not afraid of imperfections. I want to embrace life as it is.
I want to work with couples that are comfortable being themselves, that don’t let rainy days, wardrobe malfunctions, or overbearing family members get them down. from our wedding perfectly. She was very flexible and understanding throughout the day and made things so easy and stress free. Having an actual film photographer truly made our ceremony incredibly intimate. I didn't realize how obnoxious digital photographers can be until i went to another wedding with your typical photographer, all i could pay attention to was the loud click and bright flash every 30 seconds it really did take away from the ceremony. Paige was so discreet and caught every important moment without every taking away from out special moment. We are so incredibly happy with our choice.
