ndor for my venue (Upper Shirley Vineyards) and came at the personal recommendation of the venue staff once I had booked my date. At booking, Jami was extremely professional and I knew from our first call she would bring a wealth of experience not just to the wedding day, but to help me navigate the entire process from start to finish. Right away her incredible warmth helped put me at ease, and knowing I had her in my corner during wedding planning made the entire process much less stressful. Across the Richmond wedding industry, Jami has incredible relationships with other vendors and was able to give curated recommendations based on my budget and needs - all which worked out perfectly. Jami is a true creative and throughout the entire process was a wonderful collaborator! After I had made a wedding vision, she helped me fill in the gaps with the details that made the entire day come together. She was always willing to attend meetings with other vendors, help me brainstorm ideas, and make sure there was not a single detail missed! On the day of, I was able to truly relax and be present knowing her and her team would do (and did do) an incredible job on set up at the venue, coordinate logistics with the venue and the vendor teams, and manage the day's timeline! Some examples of her going above and beyond are bringing books/plants from her home to add to décor, helping me last minute tag name cards with meal selections, creating the most beautiful flat lay with items from her own collection, and attending my rehearsal at the church even though it wasn't required! Truly could not be more thankful she was a part of my wedding and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a planner that is creative, kind, and has an excellent attention to detail!! Really was everything I needed and more to have the best day!!

e recommended were perfect for the day and they all worked together so seamlessly. As someone super type B she helped me to know what I needed and when everything needed to be done by and honestly was able to keep my Type A mom in check through the whole process which was AMAZING.  I literally cannot say enough amazing things about this wonderful team and I recommend her a million times over for the most perfect day you could ever ask for! She also did all of the signage and calligraphy you’ll see in the pictures as well as the signs for our bar. Seriously she’s a full service queen 

self. From the beginning, Jami took the time to understand not only our vision for the day, but also the vibe and values that mattered most to us. She completely understood what we were trying to create and brought our dream wedding to life in a way that exceeded our expectations. I had a very specific vision, and Jami executed it flawlessly. Her creativity and artistic talent are incredible, and she went above and beyond sourcing decor and special touches to make sure every element reflected our vision perfectly—including beautiful custom calligraphy and design details that added such a personal and elevated touch throughout the day. She also helped me bring to life a very specific vision for a lantern and floral installation on the steps leading into our ceremony site, which turned out even more beautiful than I had imagined. One of my favorite memories from our wedding day was walking into the reception space for the first time. I'll never forget seeing every detail I had spent the past year imagining, dreaming about, and planning finally come to life. From the custom bar design, floral installations, and the table number sign she designed on a vintage mirror she kindly let us borrow, to all of the thoughtful details throughout the room, everything was exactly as I had envisioned—and somehow even more beautiful. It was such an emotional moment, and Jami is the reason it became a reality. She took the ideas that lived in my head and transformed them into a space that felt like a dream come true. One of the greatest gifts she gave us was the ability to truly relax on our wedding day. I never found myself worrying about timelines, vendor coordination, logistics, or whether something had been forgotten because I knew Jami had everything covered. She anticipated needs before they arose and handled countless moving pieces behind the scenes with professionalism and grace. She also cared deeply about the people we love. She was so kind, patient, and helpful with our family members, recognizing that our wedding day was a huge day for them too. One of our favorite memories was watching her help my nephews execute their "Ring Security" duties perfectly—they felt so special and important, and she made sure everything went off without a hitch. Another thing we will always appreciate is how thoughtfully she handled guest food allergies. This was a significant source of anxiety for me, and Jami took it seriously from day one. Knowing she was overseeing those details gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to relax and enjoy the day. Jami has a talent for turning big ideas into reality while making the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. She poured her heart into our wedding and made us feel supported every step of the way. Our wedding was more beautiful, organized, and meaningful than we ever imagined possible, and we have Jami to thank for so much of that. If you're looking for a wedding planner who will truly listen to you, understand your vision, care for your family, and execute every detail with incredible talent and heart, we cannot recommend Jami highly enough.

s, we thought we could handle it ourselves — and very quickly realized why everyone says that. We are eternally grateful to whoever told us to call Jami. From the very beginning, Jami was a ray of sunshine — someone who made us feel both excited and completely secure, knowing she was absolutely going to get it done. Our schedules were all over the place, communication was sometimes less than ideal on our end, and yet Jami never wavered. She was endlessly patient, always prepared, and consistently provided thoughtful updates and detailed notes — all without ever making things feel overwhelming. It’s rare to meet someone with Jami’s energy, determination, and sheer gusto. She understood our budget from day one and paired us with incredible vendors who were high-quality, professional, and still within a range we were comfortable with. We truly got a five-star wedding — authentic, thoughtful, beautifully organized — for what felt like a steal. We didn’t have to search endlessly or second-guess decisions; we simply trusted Jami, followed her timeline, and leaned into the amazing people she brought to the table. And then there was the wedding day itself. Jami was nothing short of commander-in-chief — herding cats, wrangling a bunch of lovable hooligans, keeping everyone on time, in line, and moving forward with grace, humor, and just the right amount of authority when needed (think: enthusiastic friends and brothers who had enjoyed the really enjoyed the open bar 😄). In fact, my grandfather’s favorite part of the wedding — aside from watching his favorite granddaughters get married — was watching Jami run the ship. He affectionately called her “Red” and was endlessly entertained and impressed by her calm command of the day. Do yourself a favor and hire this woman. Jami loves love. She loves weddings. She loves her people. And she will do anything to make your dream a reality. We cannot imagine our wedding — or the joy and peace we felt throughout the process — without her.
