The staff was very nice and accommodated my group well. I liked my hair and makeup, but I felt like both were better in the trial session. Most of my bridal party did their own hai...
r and makeup, but my mom had hers done at the Orange Pearl. She liked her make up, but she wasn't thrilled with her hair. Overall, the salon seemed a little expensive.
I hired the Orange Pearl for my bridal party to do on-location hair & makeup. They did an OK job on me (the bride). Makeup was great, and hair was mediocre. But three of my bridesm...
aids hated their hair and actually had to re-do their hair themselves. Not to mention the price. They are extremely expensive ($100 per style for each bridesmaid) for something that looked like an child did it. My sister re-did her own hair and two of the ladies. She is not a hair stylist, but it looked way better than the Orange pearl stylist's work. They were a major letdown and a major expense.
My bridal party had their hair and makeup done at Orange Pearl. Everyone looked so fantastic! Mara was the absolute best! She created the hair style exactly like I had always dream...
ed of. Kiersten is a makeup expert! She listened to my request to not look like a clown. I would definitely recommend getting hair and makeup done here!!
The OP Salon did my hair and makeup for my wedding. The stylists did a fantastic job! My hair and makeup were absolutely perfect!
I asked to not have dark under my eyes, I asked for just the outer corners to have a thin line. Told the makeup artist my groom didn't want me looking like a "clown" on my wedding...
day and I didn't want to look like a "street walker" but came out with orange eye brows (I have medium brown hair!) and goth eyes! Went to the car and balled while rubbing off the makeup and trying to reapply with my own I had thankfully brought along. The girl was very nice and had a great personality - but didn't listen to my requests. I think it would have been better if during the time she would have shown me a mirror instead of at the end when there was no time to fix the catastrophe.
My entire bridal party and I came in to get hair and/or makeup done before my wedding and it was a great experience. Both my hair/makeup trials and day-of service were great and I ...
was very happy with the end result. The staff was very easy to work with both in person and over email to get everything scheduled.
I worked with Hannah for my August 2016 bridal hair and make up trial and style. She was SO patient with me and didn't even strangle me when I scheduled a second trial due to my ow...
n indecisiveness. She created the most beautiful bridal style and my airbrush make up was flawless and lasted the whole evening. She was very engaged the entire time and even followed up with me after to see how my day went. I couldn't be happier and recommend her to any bride.
I had my wedding trial hair and make-up here and then me and some of my bridesmaids, my attendant, and my mother and mother-in-law got our hair done and make-up done here for the w...
edding. Choya was my stylist and she was amazing - incredibly sweet and listened to everything that I said to make sure my hair and make-up was perfect. She made sure that I was comfortable, and she was regularly asking if I was happy with everything and told me not to be afraid to tell her if I didn't like something, and I knew she meant it. Everyone was very happy with their hair, and the few of us that got our make-up done were all very happy as well. My only complaint is that there is not much of an area for waiting, and they had a bridal party in right before us, so they took up all the seating and we had to stand for a while until they were done. The salon itself is pretty small, though, so I can understand why they do not have much for seating in the waiting area.
I had never been to this Salon before my hair trial appointment and I was nervous at first because it has a "punk" vibe to the place and I was going for a very traditional wedding ...
hair style. I couldn't have been more pleased! Chantal, the salon owner, personally helped me and did my hair for my trial and for my wedding. I gave her my very vague description of what I wanted with my hair and she understood me immediately and perfectly. She played with my hair for a couple of minutes just to see how it worked, and I knew immediately that she understood my hair. I made one last minute change at my final hair appointment which she easily accommodated to, and my hair was perfect. I will be using their salon for all of my, and my husband's future hair needs.
I was also incredibly impressed with each and every hair-style for my bridesmaids and my mother. Everyone's hair was gorgeous! The salon was able to accommodate us all at the same time, we were in and out in less than 2 hours. On top of all of that, they have VERY reasonable prices for the hair-styles.
Highly Recommended!
