We absolutely loved working with Megan on our wedding day and during our engagement session. When searching for photographers we wanted someone who would capture our true selves an...

d we love that about her photography style. She was so calming, funny, and made me feel confident as a plus-sized bride! My only advice, which is not Megan’s fault, is to truly think about your wedding timeline in reference to photography. We were running late on hair/makeup and I felt sad afterwards, thinking we might not have gotten as many photos as I’d hoped, however we had FUN!! and I think that’s what’s more important. I’m excited to see all Megan and her second shooter captured when we get our album back soon.

What can I say other than they are "OUTSTANDING?" Having you both capture moments that we will look back on and treasure forever, is so incredibly special. The dream team duo for...

SURE! I could not be happier with the end results and we would happily recommend them to anyone. I cannot recommend them more to be at the top of your gust list. Not only were the quality of photos perfect, the communication was the best. They really helped move our timeline along and stayed on top of everything and really captured the day the way we saw it, especially without being overbearing. I was incredibly lucky to have them, and you would be to!

. Working with her was a breeze despite being a very a warm May wedding. I hope she knows she is stuck doing all of our pictures for the rest of forever because my expectations for photographers has been set to an unattainable level now. 10/10 would book them again and again!

While wedding planning my now husband told me that he thought engagement, wedding, elopement, etc. pictures were overpriced and overrated. I had told him that pictures were somethi...

ng you will be able to have and cherish forever. We did some research and decided to inquire with Onyx and Opal Creative Co. We met with Megan and decided right away to book. The truth is, my husband thought pictures were overrated because he was simply uncomfortable with the thought of people following us around and taking pictures of us. From the very beginning Megan made us feel comfortable and confident. We had multiple meetings to discuss our visions with Megan. To say she met our expectations with reality would be undermining. Megan exceeded our expectations in every way. Megan was professional, kind, and caring. When we got our gallery back from both our engagement and wedding sessions by husband was in near tears reliving the best day of our lives together through Megan’s photography. After reviewing our wedding album my husband reached out to Onyx and Opal Creative Co. stating the following, “Thank you for taking the pictures of our day. They turned out amazing. I am glad my wife and I chose you to take our pictures because they could not have been any better.” Megan turned my hesitant husband into someone who would never even think of booking another photographer for any major life event we may have. I think that review speaks for itself.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars!! A week before our wedding we had our original photographer’s have to cancel on us, I knew it was out of everyone’s control, but I still was an...

emotional and stressed mess. Thankfully they led us to Onyx+Opal, the second I spoke with Megan on the phone, I was calm and knew she was sent to us for a reason! There just aren’t enough words to possibly describe how amazing Megan and Katie were. They were so personable, fun, professional, and VERY talented. My husband and I had never been professionally photographed before and admitted we may need guided lol. They made sure we felt comfortable in all our photos and did such an AMAZING job making sure we got the BEST photos! We will be forever grateful for them saving our day and for all of the beautiful images they captured of such a special time in our lives. They definitely were very easy to work with and we will forever treasure our photos. They exceeded our expectations x100. So if you are wondering if you should book Onyx+Opal for your BIG SPECIAL DAY… the answer is ABSOLUTELY 1000% YESSSS!

If there was a way to give Megan infinity stars, I would do that without hesitation! She was absolutely wonderful and SO much fun to work with. She captured the love and emotion of...

our day into still, intimate moments that bring me to tears when I look back through our gallery. Communication with Megan was a breeze and she had some fun questionnaires for us to fill out so she could get to know not only us as a couple, but our families, and the pictures we were looking for. Megan is the bomb.com and I can't imagine working with anyone else for any of my future photography needs!

I'm sad to be editing this review, which I originally gave 5 stars, but after the delivery of my pictures I'm very disappointed. The images themselves were beautiful and I loved th...

em, but the customer service was lacking. Half my pictures had someone else's last name as the image title and the gallery had the wrong date on it. My favorite picture from the previews I got was missing from the final album, which I asked about, and my request was forgotten. My gallery also arrived later than promised in our contract, but they did apologize for that and offered a complimentary canvas print (which I'm not confident I'll get). This vendor was one of my favorites after the actual wedding day, but unfortunately these problems are the last impression I'm getting of their company and why I no longer feel they earned 5 stars with me.

Megan is AMAZING! 1000/10 would recommend her. Its tough enough planning a wedding amidst a pandemic but she made it feel so fun and natural planning for our big day. Not to mentio...

n, she knows all of the right angles and places to capture the most precious moments between you and your significant other. She is kind, funny, and makes you feel so comfortable throughout it all. Our engagement session went so smooth and fun, so I decided to book a boudoir with her before our wedding date. I was slightly nervous, but I figured it'd be just as great as our engagement session with her and sure enough; it totally was. Fun, freeing, and she made me feel beautiful and sexy. Both inside the photographs and during the whole process. We're about to get our wedding pictures back and I have NO doubt they will be anything shy of amazing. If you are looking for an unforgettable and amazing photographer during this special time in your life, Megan is YOUR. GIRL. :)
