lled several tomes the week before the wedsing to make sure everything went smoothly.
Tom and the Diverse/O’Neill’s team catered our wedding on 12/3 at Power Plant Productions. All of the staff were amazing - super attentive and really took care of us and our guests...
. The team was super easy to work with and laid back which makes a stressful event much easier to plan. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! I highly recommend Tom and his team if you’re looking for an experienced caterer for your next event.
O'Neill's was an incredible catering company to work with. We were lucky enough to work with Jess who became our mini wedding planner and helped to ensure everything ran smoothly t...
he day of our wedding. Their food is delicious and they have a pretty good variety to suit all tastes and dietary restrictions. They were also very helpful in the set-up/tear-down process (which every couple should look into the specifics for their venue - trust me) and allowed my husband and I to simply enjoy our day without stress. The servers were polite, the food was hot when served, and hors d'oeuvres were incredible. Our guests are still talking about the cheesesteak eggrolls to this day.
For O’Neill's Catering I think it is important I start out with the good before getting into the honest.
The good: I really like Mike the owner/director. I like him personally and ...
imagine that many people would. He is a nice guy, he is very friendly, and he genuinely listens to the bride and groom’s input. We got married at Rose Bank Winery and he truly knows the venue inside and out, he knew the space well and how to optimize it. O’Neils has great food! Many of our guests personally told us that they loved the dinner (we did a duet plate, Mike’s recommendation). I don’t think anybody went home hungry. I also heard from our guests that they consistently saw hand passed hors d'oeuvres being circulated, which was great since Mike said they would be. However, the honest: Trying to get O’Neil’s to respond to communications leading up to wedding was challenging! I’m busy, I work full time and I’m going back to school at the same time. I am not emailing vendors for fun. O’Neil’s did a great job on the day of. They did a great job a year in advance (winter months) when they were possibly getting our business. However, communication is key and I wish that it had been better. I wish there was no honest and just good! It’s unfortunate but sometimes good food is not enough.
O'Neill's catering did an amazing job for my wedding! They won us over with the tasting we did and from there on out they were amazing. We met with them two more times before the b...
ig day which calmed my nerves because I was nervous about things running smoothly! We had the wedding on my husbands parents farm so everything was super stressful with not being sure on how things would run. On the day of though all the stress left me! O'neills catering had taken care of everything and really ran the show! Everyone enjoyed the food and the staff was amazing. They always came to me and asked when I was ready to do the next thing like cutting the cake or if I needed another beer! They were AWESOME! O'neill's catering was priced very well too. I defiantly recommend them because they were the best thing that happened to our wedding and made our event so smoothly!
Words cannot even express how happy we were with O'Neill's Catering! My mom found O'Neill's at a wedding expo held at Rosebank Winery and enjoyed the food. We were able to go in fo...
r a tasting and try some of the food prior to signing a contract and really liked it. After committing, Michael was always available to make changes to the menu and customize the menu as needed. Not only did Michael assist in planning the menu and ordering the table linens, but he also acted as go-to wedding coordinator at times. They also made it a point to bring us food to our table even though it was buffet style. Our guests commented on how good the food was and it really was! Highly recommended, not only because of the delicious food and service, but also for the relationships created during the wedding planning process!
For the most part everything was great! They came and cooked us a meal at our home to do taste testing and the food is delicious. They work very well with your budget and making th...
ings super simple for you.
The only problem we encountered was that we had arranged to pack up the leftover food to take home but they left and told us they threw out the food in the dumpster. Later we got a call back saying that they had the food and brought back 6 trays of our leftover food. They said they were planning on feeding their staff with the food we had paid. The fact that they were dishonest about it left a bad taste in our mouth. It also seemed like they had forgotten some of the arrangments we had made before hand and had to be reminded.
Other than that it was a good experience.
