Once Like A Spark Wedding Co.

ographer, videographer, and DJ they were amazing in person and so helpful exactly who we wanted to be apart of our wedding! Santana was amazing from our engagement shot so many months to the day of our wedding. SO happy to have OLAS part of our wedding day. Highly recommend!!

to understand what we were looking for and created a custom photography and videography package that was perfect for us. We absolutely adored Desi, our photographer, and Alex, our videographer. They were both so kind, professional, and made us feel completely comfortable throughout our entire event. They captured every moment so beautifully and authentically. When we received our photos and videos, we were blown away. They captured the emotions, little details, and special moments of our day so perfectly. I actually cried while reliving those memories through the photos and videos! We’ve also received so many compliments from our friends and family about how beautifully everything turned out. We are so grateful to Once Like a Spark, Desi, and Alex for giving us memories we’ll cherish forever. We couldn’t recommend them more!

constantly adjusting my dress, veil, and our positioning to make sure every image would be as beautiful as possible. What impressed me most was how invested she was in capturing every moment perfectly. She was thoughtful, encouraging, and somehow managed to be everywhere without ever feeling intrusive. Beyond being incredibly talented, she's simply a joy to spend the day with—bubbly, kind, professional, and genuinely excited for her couples. We haven't even received our full gallery yet, and I already know we'll treasure these photos forever. I would recommend Victoria without hesitation and will absolutely be calling her again for future milestones.

but kind and was able to get some great shots! She covered everything I asked for and did so in an organized way. The videographer Orville was also great! I can't wait to see his masterpiece! He and Caroline worked together well and both were fun!

t makes planning, paying, and communication so easy and simple! It was nice to know I didn’t have to worry about my photographer because they were so on top of it! They got my detailed photo day so perfectly formatted and easy to read! We had Daniel as our photographer and we was so talented and fun and was so helpful! He gave us so many tips that we needed and made the whole process fun! Highly recommended him, I let him be creative with what we had due to weather and he did not disappoint!

y to work with. Very professional, communicative, affordable, and helpful with the whole process. I would highly recommend to any new bride!

l product and customer support were deeply disappointing and borderline scammy. We hired OLAS late in our wedding planning process after many of our preferred videographers were already booked. Their business model relies on contracting freelancers, which means the quality of service can vary significantly from the polished portfolio they advertise. There is also no continuity between the people who collect your information, film your wedding, and edit your footage. Before the wedding, communication was ok. We had a consultation call where we carefully reviewed our timeline and highlighted several moments that were especially important to us, including our t-shirt toss, guest caricatures, and our bride and groom toast. We also discussed music preferences and specifically requested that country music not be used in our videos, however opted to let them choose the final tracks as nothing from their library spoke directly too us at that time. On the wedding day, our videographer was polite and professional, though somewhat inexperienced. While his videography style and quality lacked, I think that's due to inexperience, not carelessness, and I understand that's what we paid for at this price point. He followed or schedule properly and captured the things we asked for. The problems became obvious once we received our videos. None of the key moments we specifically requested were included in either the teaser or full-length film. No toast, no caricatures, no t-shirt toss, moments we intentionally planned and they asked us to communicate to them ahead of time were completely absent. On top of that, the videos were edited with a country-style soundtrack despite our explicit request to avoid that genre. It felt entirely disconnected from the atmosphere of our wedding. Trying to resolve these issues was incredibly frustrating because OLAS has no direct point of contact. Just a messaging system with no real accountability on the other side. They initially tried to charge us $250 to change the music, even though they admitted the omissions in the videos were their mistake and they had the footage, the editor was just lazy and didn't watch the footage through to utilize them. After significant back-and-forth, they eventually waived the fee. Because we had already lost confidence in their work, we purchased all of our raw footage (thankfully). Now, a year and a half later, we discovered an even more serious issue: the audio in our speeches video cuts out entirely after the three-minute mark. This is not a download issue. The same problem exists on their hosted version as well. While we acknowledge we should have watched every video in full sooner, it never crossed our minds that a professionally delivered wedding video would contain such a major editing failure. We watched the beginning of the speeches but at the time when these videos came back (during our honeymoon) did not think to watch this one all the way through. We have spent weeks trying to contact OLAS about fixing the issue. Since there is no direct email or phone support, our messages and voicemails seem to disappear into a void. We thankfully have the raw footage and audio, so this should be an easy correction for them, but at this point they appear unwilling or unable to provide support.

the distance limitations in the contract, Josael made the entire shoot so enjoyable that it truly didn’t matter in the end. From the very beginning, he was engaging, easy to talk to, and gave great direction without making anything feel stiff or awkward. He took the time to connect with us as a couple, finding little things to joke about and relate to that made the session feel fun and natural instead of overly posed. Nothing felt forced, and that really shows in the photos. During the shoot, he showed us a few of the unedited shots on the camera and WOW… just wow. Even completely unedited, the photos were absolutely stunning. We are already obsessed and cannot wait to get our full engagement gallery back! Most importantly, he made us feel comfortable and at ease the entire time, which is priceless when you’re in front of a camera. We are now even more excited for him to capture our wedding day. Thank you, Josael, for such an amazing experience. You truly are an incredible photographer!

th communicating and going over every detail of my big day. Thank you , thank you and thank you for capturing the best day of my life !

from booking and payment to communication has been easy. Our engagement session was with the photographer we chose for our wedding and we're so pleased with our experience! He brings a lot of experience to the table and helped us feel natural and at ease - we had a lot of fun! He was great with our two large dogs too who of course had to be in the photos. We can't wait to see the photos!

inting. At times, she seemed frustrated and disengaged—rolling her eyes and sighing when guests didn’t line up quickly. While I understand weddings can be hectic, this made both us and our guests feel uncomfortable on what should have been a joyful day. When I asked for additional photo combinations due to guests leaving early because of the snowstorm, her response came across with noticeable attitude. One of the most meaningful moments of the day—our first look—was not handled as requested. We were told it would be private, but instead, the entire wedding party was present. This made the moment feel rushed and awkward, and we didn’t get to truly enjoy it. There were also several missed details and shots that were important to us. I had specifically requested photos with my veil but received none. We also had custom cocktail napkins and party favors that were never photographed. Additionally, one photographer was supposed to capture moments in the groom’s room but never went, resulting in missed opportunities—including a meaningful photo of the groom’s father helping him get ready. While the overall photo quality is nice, there are noticeable technical issues in multiple images, such as crooked angles, off-center framing, and subjects being cut off. These are basic details we expected to be handled professionally. The venue itself, particularly the marble staircase at the Kimpton Hotel, was a major reason we chose the location. However, only a small portion of photos were taken there, and when we asked for more, we were placed on side stairs with unflattering angles that did not highlight the space. We also provided inspiration photos in advance, but many were not captured. Out of six key shots, only two were completed. Most notably, we did not receive a photo of me walking down the aisle with my dad with a glimpse of the groom—despite having time to capture it. Lastly, while the videography team was kind and responsive, the video quality was extremely disappointing. I ultimately had to request the raw footage and seek editing elsewhere, which added unexpected cost and stress. Expectations around indoor video quality should have been communicated clearly beforehand. I would NOT recommend OLAS for video if you are doing an outdoor wedding. There is a reason all the videos on their website are outdoors. Photos are screenshots from the video to show the quality.

e planning process. The quality of their work and value was amazing - the pictures and videos they captured are stunning, and their friendly staff made us feel comfortable and relaxed on the big day. They were also very flexible, accommodating any requests we had to ensure our wedding day was perfect. We loved working with Once Like a Spark and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a talented, professional photography and videography team.

d us to walk, kiss, etc. that resulted in the most magical photos! The communication during the planning was absolutely perfect. I really appreciated the level of detail we got to, and Hannah was so personable!

in mind every time. The editing was amazing and we couldn't be happier with the outcome!

he time to understand our vision and match us with the perfect professionals. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail gave us so much peace of mind throughout the planning process. Thanks to them, we ended up with an incredible photographer and videographer who captured our day beautifully. We couldn’t recommend this company more to any couple looking for a seamless and trustworthy experience.

respond to our questions and made the entire process feel seamless. The quality of their work and value was top-notch, and Victoria was incredibly caring, attentive, and patient throughout our shoot. The photos she captured are absolutely beautiful, and we were thrilled to receive them so quickly, allowing us to get our save the dates out ahead of schedule. Victoria was so nice and even drove to our location, helping us with every photo and making the experience comfortable and fun.

ere an absolute dream to work with—from the initial planning stages through to delivery of the gallery. Communication was outstanding; they were responsive, helpful with timeline suggestions, and made sure we felt prepared without any stress. On the wedding day, the team was professional yet so much fun—they kept everyone relaxed, directed poses naturally (even for us camera-shy folks!), and captured the most genuine, joyful moments without ever feeling intrusive. The photos are stunning: full of emotion, beautiful natural light, and perfect candid shots of our family and friends laughing, crying happy tears, and dancing the night away. They truly captured the love and energy of our special day in a timeless way. We can’t thank Lindsay and the OLAS team enough—they exceeded our expectations and gave us memories we’ll treasure forever. If you’re looking for a talented, kind, and dedicated photographer, book them! It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Highly recommend!”

ing us feel comfortable and offering guidance on how to pose, where to stand etc and was so kind we felt like she was one of our friends by the end of the day. Working with their planning team was so easy as they were so organized and responsive and our photos were edited and back to us before we even got back from our honeymoon.

lpful. Erin was a calming, joyful presence all day long – giving gentle direction exactly when we needed it and somehow making us feel like total naturals in front of the camera. Every single photo is breathtaking. She captured the giggles, the happy tears, the little glances – every moment that made the day feel like pure magic. Steve and I keep saying we’ve never smiled so much in our lives, and now we get to relive it forever because Erin caught our love so perfectly. If you’re getting married: book OLAS. 10/10. Marry your best friend and let OLAS capture it. We’re obsessed and will recommend them to everyone we know! Thank you, thank you, thank you for making our wedding day even more unforgettable. ♡

of photographer was great! She really made my now husband and I feel very comfortable and took a big weight off of our shoulders.

to go. Great direction and beautiful outcome of photos!!

lor was incredible at catching every special moment — from the big emotional shots to the little details that mean so much. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine passion for what they do truly shine through. We have no doubt our photos will be absolutely stunning! We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Once Like A Spark.

Christine is absolutely amazing at what she does. As someone who needs a lot of direction and guidance in front of the camera, I was so grateful for how patient, encouraging, and clear she was. She made me feel comfortable the entire time, and it really shows in the photos. One of the things I loved most about the OLAS services was how easy they made the entire planning process. They helped us create a day-of timeline that perfectly matched what I needed and envisioned, taking away so much of the stress I had been feeling. They also put together a customized shot list, which was incredibly helpful and ensured we captured everything that was important to us. OLAS is organized, talented, and genuinely cares about their clients. The experience was seamless from start to finish. I can’t recommend them enough!

. Blaire has been super communicative after the wedding. The entire team is extremely kind with answering my million questions. On top of that, the photos are incredible. Denida did a wonderful job capturing so many moments and was so on top of the schedule. We also bundled a DJ package, and the DJ was amazing! He mixed songs and kept the energy up the whole night.

venue before. The planning process was great and we were able to make lots of changes as we finalized details. The day of was very smooth and comfortable. We got our photos and videos in a timely manner.

hy, videography, AND a DJ for the entire night, and it was significantly more affordable than a lot of the solo artists I looked into. After we chose the package, Hannah was so helpful with helping us choose our photographer; and then she matched us up with a lovely videographer and DJ as well! Hannah and Baylee worked closely with me to create a timeline for the wedding day, ensuring everyone was on the same page! I cannot express how thankful I am for all their help and support! They definitely made this process so much smoother than I ever anticipated!! Thanks again, OLAS!!!!

answered all of my millions of questions, broke things down so simply, and was so accommodating to any concerns or questions I had. She was also so responsive which was so appreciated when we were making such a big decision. We also communicated with Hannah, who like Darcy was so on top of the communications, getting back to us quickly regarding any questions, package add ons, etc. Darcy and Hannah were also flexible and seemed to really care that we got the exact aspects/services we wanted - even sharing examples when we were unsure. On our wedding day, we worked with two photographers, Erin (lead) and Michelle as well as our videographer, Amanda- and let me tell you, all three were absolutely amazing, I’m already trying to think of what other event we have that we can work with them again! They went above and beyond in every single way- helping with my dress, the venue, etc. all on top of taking such beautiful photos/video. Erin was amazing amazing amazing!! Really cannot say enough how much we appreciated her and of course the whole team. She was so great with taking control, capturing beautiful moments, getting groups lined up, getting shots set up, all while also supporting me throughout the night. The whole team was also so on top of catching every shot, they really didn’t miss a beat- while also being so patient and understanding when an extra moment was needed. I really cannot say enough how much we appreciated this team. All three made me and my husband feel special, cared about, and so confident in their work. Now I’m just hoping I have another opportunity to work with them again in the future!

t I realized how much value I put into working with a videographer before the wedding day to be comfortable with them. By no means is Once Like a Spark bad but if you care about your video, I would recommend working with an individual videographer rather than a company like this. Our videos are fine though and I think I got what I paid for.

ay, Ariel was organized, calm and so easy to work with, which helped us feel completely relaxed in front of the camera. Their eye for detail is unmatched. Every photo captures not only the big moments but also the little ones - the candid laughs, the tears, and the pure joy of the day. When we received our gallery, we were just blown away. The photos weren't just beautiful; they told the story of our wedding perfectly. What stood out the most was how comfortable Ariel made us and our guests feel. They blended seamlessly into the day, yet somehow managed to capture every moment naturally. If you're looking for a photographer who is professional, talented, and genuinely passionate about their craft, I cannot recommend Once Like A Spark enough. They gave us the memories we'll treasure forever, and we are so grateful.

s high quality and offered in multiple formats.

el very at ease and ensured that everything would go smoothly. Our photographer, Brianna and videographer, Yukel were amazing to work with on the day of the wedding! I couldn't be happier with the way our photos and videos came out!!

we will treasure for years. Thanks to Jadyha, Ellie, Hannah, Darcy, and the team!

and incredibly thoughtful. We had two photographers on-site for both the pre-wedding and wedding day events, and they were absolutely amazing. They made us feel comfortable right away and somehow managed to be everywhere without ever feeling intrusive. They captured the big moments, the little in-between ones, and all the emotions in such an authentic way. If you're looking for a team that truly cares about telling your story, Once Like a Spark is it. We couldn't be more grateful.

t so beautifully—we couldn’t be happier with how she documented each moment. Joyce went above and beyond, and we can’t thank her enough for preserving these memories so perfectly. Highly recommend!

hen things got a bit behind (through no fault of his own). OLAS was also very attentive during the whole planning process, very detail oriented and made sure everything was in place that needed to happen for the day! Would absolutely recommend their Baltimore office- they were wonderful!

ovided such thoughtful guidance and instantly understood our vibe. By the time the wedding rolled around, she already knew we were the kind of couple who wanted to get the obligatory posed shots done quickly—so we could get to the party—and she delivered exactly that! We originally chose her because of the gorgeous candids in her portfolio, and she completely lived up to our expectations. Victoria has a gift for capturing those real, emotional, in-between moments that you can’t pose for. Every single photo feels authentic and full of life. On the wedding day, she was such a calm, positive presence—professional, easygoing, and somehow managed to be everywhere at once without ever being intrusive. She guided us when we needed it but also let things unfold naturally. We just got our photos back and are obsessed with all of them. Truly. We keep looking through them and reliving every single moment. If you're looking for a photographer who gets it, who brings talent, warmth, and total professionalism—Victoria is your girl. We are so grateful to have had her capture our day!

for quotes. The office team (Darcy and Hannah) were always willing to answer questions and discuss details about the service we were getting. They sent along the portfolios of several photographers who were available to photograph our wedding, which was nice, as we could determine which styles and angles we related to the most. Hannah was on top of things and was generally helpful in getting us set up with our photographer. Geneva photographed both our engagement photoshoot and our wedding. We loved working with her. She has a very direct style, knows what looks good, and is matter-of-fact in getting through her shot list, something that comes in handy when photographing a big family. For our engagement shoot, she did a good job of capturing both us and the scene, directing our poses/action, and moving efficiently between shots so we ended up getting everything we wanted to do. During our reception, she did a great job of capturing individual moments and blending in with the crowd. On top of that, we really like how all our photos turned out! Geneva was everything we wanted for our wedding photographer - laid back, matter-of-fact, and got the job done. We’re grateful to her for capturing our special moments for us to remember the rest of our lives.

without interfering too much. He was not invasive during the wedding. We knew he was there but was never in the way and still managed to get the best shots. Same with the videographer. Our wedding video brought us to tears and we completely forgot they were there. It was a great experience from start to finish. I appreciated how detailed the planning process was.

edding day. Everyone was extremely responsive and provided fantastic recommendations for ways to enhance the day. The Once Like a Spark team is incredible and positively added to our overall wedding experience. We highly recommend OLAS to anyone and everyone!

ment photo day to make us more comfortable for our day of photos. Vera was the support photographer for the day of, and she made she we were always ready to take the best photos. Cristian and Vera worked well together. Our videographer was Joe. To top it all off, our engagement photos were promised to us in 3 weeks after the shoot. They got to us in 3 days! And our wedding photos were promised to us in 6-8 weeks, but they got to us in 16 days after the wedding! I couldn't recommend this company more!

se I was having a destination wedding and could bundle a local engagement session with my wedding photos as well as a dj. My fiance and I are in a long distance relationship and between that and the weather, our engagement session kept getting pushed back to the point I was concerned about getting Save the Dates out too late. (I remember it took my sister several months to get her wedding photos.) When we finally were able to make the session work, our photographer was great, and we received the edited photos less than a week later!

wedding, we filled out a detailed survey about what kinds of photos we wanted, and we were grateful for the one-on-one meeting a month or so before to go over all the details. Our photographer, Rebekah, was so fun and easy to work with! She made us feel at ease and did a phenomenal job with the photos. I'm so grateful to her and the whole OLAS staff! I'd highly recommend them.

ry picture we wanted. The whole team at OLAS is super talented and their communication is amazing.

energy was infectious—she made everyone feel so at ease and truly added to the joy of the day. Not only did she capture breathtaking moments, but she also went above and beyond by helping me bustle my gown, which was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. Her attention to detail and commitment to making the day perfect were truly evident in every shot. I’m so grateful for her incredible work and would highly recommend her to any couple looking for a talented and personable photographer!

and helped form our plan/schedule for the day. We are in love with our photos and videos. My favorites are the candid photos. It really shows our love and the joy from that day.
