Officiant Phil Gallagher

ly suited to us as a couple. His communication was always clear, prompt, and professional, which made everything feel easy and stress-free. We’re so grateful for the care and attention he brought to our special day!

Lake Dillon, and did an exceptional job! The ceremony was beautiful, emotional, and captured our relationship so well. Phil was easy to converse with via phone, email, etc, and answered so many of our questions regarding marriage license, permits, local opinions and recommendations. Phil, thank you for being a part of our special day! We couldn’t imagine it any other way!

or it to them! Our guests were raving about him to asking if he was like a distant uncle or cousin that is how good he is! Furthermore, as a stressed bride he always was able to make me laugh and has such a positive light to him. He was made for this job and it shows! We also did some of his premartial coaching and loved it as well, it was exactly what we were looking for and we got to know phil even more. We love you Phil, if you book him you will have NO REGRETS one of the best investments for our wedding.

your wedding!!

celebration of our love. From the start, Phil was easy to work with. He met with us over Zoom (we’re based in Ohio) to talk through our vision, offered helpful options, and made the entire planning process feel smooth and collaborative. Our wedding day didn’t go exactly as planned—stormy weather rolled in just as we reached Guanella Pass for our mountain ceremony. Despite the rain and sudden change of plans, Phil kept a positive attitude and rolled with it. He worked with our photographer, helped us pivot, and married us under a gazebo in Georgetown. While we don’t recommend that particular gazebo, we absolutely recommend Phil. His calm presence, thoughtful words, and flexibility made the ceremony incredibly special. Even our teenagers were impressed—and that says a lot. If you’re looking for someone who’s grounded, warm, and completely committed to making your ceremony meaningful, Phil is the one.

cess was smooth and straightforward, allowing us to make changes and adjustments with ease. Phil brought such a personal touch to our ceremony—our guests genuinely thought he was a close family friend, and even our photographers felt the same! His warmth and presence truly made the ceremony feel intimate and special. Phil was also a huge help in guiding us through the vow-writing process, offering valuable advice along the way. Although we met him for the first time on our wedding day, it felt like we had known him for years! And, of course, we couldn't resist getting a selfie with Phil to remember the day. He made our ceremony unforgettable, and we are so grateful to have had him be a part of our celebration!

d. He worked so well with our Rabbi, and every guest commented on how well the ceremony moved between the two religions and blended traditions together beautifully. Phil did a great job of making our ceremony special and helping it to feel truly like my Husband and I.

make it custom for us. He did an amazing job at the ceremony. He even filed the certificate with the clerk first thing Monday morning for us. We would definitely recommend Phil!

nce. Even though we planned everything last minute, Phil was incredibly responsive to all my texts and made the process so smooth and easy. The ceremony he crafted was beautifully customized to us as a couple, making the day feel extra special and meaningful. We even ran into several people who spoke so highly of him—it’s clear that Phil is loved and respected by everyone he works with. He came highly recommended by a friend/client, and I’m so glad we took their advice. If you’re looking for someone professional, thoughtful, and genuinely kind, Phil is the perfect choice. Thank you, Phil, for making our day unforgettable!

ary school and he has always had a way of connecting to all through spoken word and storytelling. He is a master and I could not have imagined anyone better to narrate parts of our story in front of those we love most in the world. He was personable, approachable and fun throughout the entire process leading up and truly allowed us to tailor and craft the ceremony to what felt true to us. The day of our wedding was a gorgeous Colorado summer day but as natives know, weather frequently changes on a dime in the mountains. As we began to exchange vows, big thunderheads rolled in. With the utmost professionalism and poise, Phil edited the prepared script on the fly to include the stories and sentiments most important to us and removed the rest (in the moment, I had no idea). And thank goodness he did. Moments after we kissed, big raindrops began falling and everyone ran for cover before the skies opened up with rain a little hail. In the end, we had the perfect dramatic ending. An average officiant or friend could not have made our ceremony feel so flawless despite unforeseen circumstances with the grace, heart and laidback manner as Phil did. He is a fabulous officiant and even human and I have no doubt brings the same positivity, love and fun to each couple he works helps! We appreciate you Phil!

rafts and from there, we all collaborated until it was perfect. There's truly nothing Phil could have done differently for us—he knocked it out of the park! Our parents were SO IMPRESSED with him and our guests thought his delivery was amazing. So amazing, everyone thought we had known him for years! All in all, if you're thinking of hiring Phil—you 100% should! We are eternally grateful for you, Phil!

completely tailored to us and our relationship. He made an effort to get to know us and what we love about each other before creating a few ceremonies versions for us. I cried reading through each one and he worked with us to create a final ceremony that was completely perfect and personal to us. He brought such a genuine and upbeat energy to our ceremony that our guests thought he was a friend or family member. I can't recommend Phil enough as a wedding officiant. Thank you, Phil, for being such an important part of our day!

asy to work with and a joy to have on our wedding day! I can’t imagine our day without him!

a more perfect officiant for our special day. His preparation and presentation was everything we wanted from start to finish. We are incredibly grateful for having him as part of our day. Thank you Phil!!!!! Love, Brittany and Brown

e and asked thoughtful questions to get to know us. We enjoyed iterating with Phil to create our custom script for the ceremony. He had us fill out a questionnaire, then provided a few versions of a script. We shared notes and ended up with a combination of pieces that was the right balance of personal, light hearted and sentimental for us. Phil is very charismatic and a fantastic speaker and everyone enjoyed the ceremony. Many guests asked how Phil knew us afterwards. We could not have asked for a better officiant!

with his expertise and we loved it! Couldn't have dreamed of a better officiant.

big day was so personalized and well thought out. Thinking about what you want said during your wedding day can be overwhelming, but Phil made it feel effortless. He also helped us with our personal vows and gave valuable feedback. Most importantly, he brought our wedding to life and filled it with words of affirmation and love. All of our guests raved after about how incredible Phil was. Highly recommend his services and can’t say thank you enough!

mony script together with us. I had no doubt we were in great hands and it really took stress off my shoulders knowing he was on our vendor team. We did premarital coaching with Phil as well, and he made it such an incredibly fun and rewarding experience! He is so easy to talk to, and he really customized the sessions to our wants and needs so we were able to get the most out of our time with him. It really helped us continue to build a solid foundation for our marriage as well as keeping us grounded and connected throughout the crazy process of wedding planning. Phil was so thoughtful and genuine throughout the whole process - our day wouldn't have been the same without him!

a huge help in the weeks and days leading up to our big day. Phil made and kept timely virtual appointments in which we worked to assemble our ideal ceremony script and check things off of our "to do" lists. He was beyond helpful in the fine tuning process as we got closer and closer to our wedding day. He reminded us of little details, like which hand to reach for when putting on our rings, how to relish in the day and not get lost in the stress of everything, how to carry on if we got lost when repeating our vows, etc. Knowing we had Phil as our team leader, helped boost our confidence throughout the entire experience–especially when we hit unexpected bumps (because not everything will go perfectly, no matter what)! Phil also put together a VERY detailed timeline for both our rehearsal/dinner and the day of our wedding and made sure that our event coordinators and vendors received a copy--this was instrumental in creating a seamless flow of communication for everyone involved. He even wrote in a time for us (the bride and groom) to have an intimate moment together after the ceremony where we sat down to eat and revel in the magic that just ensued. That ended up being SO IMPORTANT because we got lost in the celebrations later on and neither of us had time to sit down or eat during the reception. Another thing that we were so impressed with was his quality of care–not just for us, but for our vendors and planning team. Phil made sure to communicate important details with our cinematic team (timeline, transitions, etc) and even arranged a block of time for them to sit down and eat during the reception! He remained in constant contact with our parents, bridal party and event coordinator, providing guidance and support as needed. When I failed to supply a wifi hotspot for our DJ, Phil offered his phone without hesitation. We wouldn’t have had music at our reception were it not for him! Phil's attention to detail, quality care, thorough checklists/reminders, timely meetings, and natural charisma made one of the most important days of our lives so very special. We are beyond grateful for his talent and cannot imagine the day without him.

He is so enthusiastic and you can tell he truly loves what he does. We would definitely recommend Phil for your wedding officiant. He did such an amazing job. Thanks again Phil!

nd was also very kind to us and our families. I would definitely recommend him! -Annie & David

wedding and gave guidance when we were writing our personal vows. We had so many people ask us "how long have you known that guy!?"...that's how personal Phil made our ceremony feel! We cannot recommend Phil enough!

or us. He was personable, professional and friendly from the beginning. Our first phone call, we felt like we had known him for years!! He listened to our feedback truly delivered the most amazing ceremony. He even asked me what I wanted him to wear!!! I thought that was a very special touch that I didn't think about before. If you're thinking about booking Phil for your wedding, DO IT! You will not regret it :)

script that suited our religious/non-religious views and guide us through our ceremony process. Phil delivered on that plus some! Our friends kept talking about how beautiful the ceremony was and how they actually listened to what Phil was saying (ha!) and they thought we had known Phil for years because of how approachable he was and genuine his script was. We strongly recommend Phil to anyone needing an officiant for their wedding (whether it be religious or not Phil can do it all!).

cripts / a sheet of quotes to potentially use. We made it our own from there! We honestly don’t know if we would have asked a friend to officiate if Phil hadn’t been there to help & we’re SO GLAD it a was an option. Phil is kind, easy to talk to and clearly very experienced at what he does. You should hire him!

ak highly enough of Phil. He made the entire process so easy, made us and our friend officiating feel comfortable and prepared, and consistently checked in to see if we needed anything. I would recommend Phil to absolutely anyone getting married!

family and friends absolutely loved him. You can feel him radiating joy and true passion for what he does. Our ceremony was absolutely perfect, he did a great job listening to us and understanding how we wanted it to feel and incorporating his expertise to make it beautiful and authentic to us. Although we got lucky and dodged the threat of rain during our ceremony he was completely prepared with a large umbrella and was ready to stand in the rain with us if we needed to. So glad we worked together, would recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant.

ately understood our vibe & crafted us the most beautiful ceremony we could've asked for. Come wedding day...our outdoor ceremony was interrupted by an insane hail/rainstorm that rolled in moments after we got to the altar - and Phil took it all in stride!! We laughed, and he effortlessly abridged the ceremony on the fly to help get us out of the crazy weather - all while managing to keep in the most important parts to us (our vows, acknowledgement of our passed family members, and our closing remarks/pronouncement). Hail and all, it was the most wonderful ceremony - we can't recommend him enough, and are so happy to have chosen him!

ng our wedding ceremony. He made our wedding so personalized and special. Phil knew just what to say and what to do to guide us through the process of creating a customized wedding ceremony and helped us navigate tradition, while crafting a ceremony specific to us as a couple. He is very professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. He was a complete joy to work with! We enjoyed our wedding ceremony so much with his customized approach and heard many compliments from our guests. Phil was willing to work with us via many emails and a couple of phone calls, as well as perform our ceremony outside for a spring wedding, being flexible on an outdoor ceremony. He was very thoughtful of thinking through all the scenarios related to traveling in winter conditions and was early to both the wedding rehearsal and our actual wedding day. He was very personable and easy to get along with. We were so fortunate to have found him and he goes above and beyond! Being the experienced officiant that Phil is, we were confident of his skills and ability to entertain and win over our wedding guests. He helped make sure everything during the ceremony went smoothly. He helped coordinate with our vendors providing the audio for our wedding and made sure to step out of the photo for our first kiss photos. His attention to detail and care really show through. We can’t recommend him more highly and you will love working with him too! Thanks again Phil, you helped make our wedding day very meaningful, memorable, and great!

d easy to work with. He sent me three separate drafts right away which I sort of combined and we finalized/edited together at the end to create the most perfect speech. And when the day came, it couldn't have gone more perfectly. We had our ceremony outside in Breckenridge, CO, in FEBRUARY in the middle of a snowstorm (trust me, while we were cold, it made for some of the most amazing pictures). Phil was so incredible and he came prepared with a laminated speech so that the printed speech wouldn't be affected by the weather, and he carried a huge smile and wore a coat, fully ready to brave the weather with us! He looked at me and said "if you get too cold, you just turn to me and give me a nod, and we'll skip anything except the most necessary parts. Or if you want a break, or to grab a shawl or a jacket or a blanket, you just give me the nod. I won't take it from anyone except you." Luckily, I was able to make it through that entire ceremony outside in my strapless dress in a snowstorm (like a crazy person because I live in Miami right now), and Phil was fully there for it! He kept us smiling and laughing the ENTIRE time! The whole day was so incredibly perfect and Phil was a massive part of that. My family members all said it was the most incredible officiant speech they have ever heard in their entire lives (and they are not those family members who just say that to be nice, they are honest all the way. If they said that, it's because they meant it.) Could not recommend Phil more highly. We are all still talking about how awesome he was and how he was such an important part of making our day as perfect as it was! Phil, thank you so, so much for everything you did to make our day so special!

st and oldest friend of ours based on what an incredible ceremony he wrote. Phil was incredible to work with, so pleasant, asked the greatest questions, wrote several versions for us to choose from and pick and choose what we loved from each to make sure it was "perfectly us". I told him I wanted our ceremony to be fun, funny, sweet, and also have its serious moments. We've heard for months that our ceremony was one of the most beautiful weddings any of our guests had ever been to - and I credit all of that beauty to Phil's words. He made us all feel at ease and just filled with absolute joy. He is THE BEST!!!!

was so touching, and for not knowing us everything was expressed with such heart felt emotion.

ional and friends/family, and Phil always stands out as the absolute best. He is incredibly professional and made the process very easy. The scripts he provided us were literally spot on to my fiance and my personalities, so it truly felt like he knew us. I received so many comments from wedding guests after our wedding that our "officiant was amazing, well-spoken, personable, and fun to listen to" and that they loved our ceremony. Given that your wedding ceremony is the most important part of your day and the reason for the day, it shouldn't be an afterthought. Hiring Phil will make sure that your wedding ceremony gets the attention it deserves and that you never feel stressed about the ceremony. Thank you Phil for making the ceremony so special!

ceremony completely about us and our story. It was a gorgeous ceremony and it felt like he had known us forever!! Every single one of our guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was and how awesome Phil was. He truly creates the most wonderful atmosphere for your ceremony and makes sure you and your guests come away feeling amazing (and teary eyed!!). We could not speak more highly of Phil and we highly recommend having Phil do your wedding.

he nailed it! It was so perfect. Even our friends and family commented on how wonderful he is. Some even noted that he was the best wedding officiant they've ever seen... and we couldn't agree more! We would absolutely recommend him! Thank you again, Phil!

and recommend him for anyone’s wedding or elopement!! He made the process easy and worry free and was great with communication!

e made us both feel comfortable right away. Though we had a small ceremony, everyone kept commenting on what a wonderful job he did. From beginning to end, the process working with Phil was effortless. Highly recommend!

sure everything went smoothly. Unfortunately, the site was closed unexpectedly but between Phil and Wendee an alternate site was found without any added stress to the day. Everyone climbed up a mountain to give us the most memorable wedding possible. Phil is just the best!

the day of my wedding, it was raining! My planned venue was higher in the moutains, and Phil called me ahead of time to advise that it would be sleeting at that location and would potentially be too cold and dreary to have a nice ceremony. He suggested a different (and very beautiful!) location, where we ended up having the ceremony. We even had a break in the rain for the actual ceremony, so it worked out much better than I expected with the weather we had. 3. Phil has an incredible energy. He is so passionate and genuine. I felt like he had known us for years and was genuinely invested in and hyped about our wedding. It was awesome. Highly, highly recommend. Can not go wrong with Phil.

prepare for our wedding, all because of how easy and fun it was working with Phil. He fills any room with such joy and positivity! Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved him (and we couldn't either!). Thank you for making our day so special - we couldn’t have done it without you! We highly recommend Phil to everyone!

the process stress free and incredibly personal. We loved our initial meeting with him at a cozy coffee shop in Breck, and we felt like we had known Phil forever. He worked with us to make tweaks to our script until it felt just like "us" and brought a lovely presence to our wedding day. If you're looking for an officiant for your wedding, we couldn't recommend Phil more.

ional and personal and Phil executed it perfectly! Every single person was in tears. He’s worth every penny! Do yourself a favor and make your ceremony a priority and hire Phil!

, we felt like we had known each other for a long time! From the first interaction to the wedding, Phil made the entire process seamless and so enjoyable. You can tell that Phil genuinely wants to know about you and your story, and he does a wonderful job at making the script exactly what you and your partner want. We were thrown many curveballs due to Covid, but we could always count on Phil for advice and timely, detailed responses. We can genuinely say that this was one of the most enjoyable processes of the wedding, and we would recommend Phil a hundred times over!

we were quite nervous about but after we hung up from our first call with Phil, we knew that we had found the right person to officiate our wedding. Phil was energetic, responsive and so intentional about creating the right balance and tone for us and our day. Phil made the whole process fun and easy (even during the uncertainty of COVID) all the way up to the rehearsal and the big day. Months later, our family and friends (and us!) still rave about the ceremony and how much it captured us as a couple and the love and joy of the day. We could not have asked for a better experience and recommend anyone looking for an officiant to reach out to Phil!

Would highly recommend Phil to anyone considering getting married in Summit County!
