We had such an amazing experience with DJ Ocross! The energy he brought to our wedding was everything we could have hoped for. From the welcome party through the reception, the music was so good and the entire night just felt like us.
What I appreciated most was how well he balanced listening to what we wanted with knowing when to trust his own instincts as a DJ. We shared our preferences with him beforehand, but we also gave him room to be creative and read the crowd. He knew exactly what to play and when to play it, and our guests absolutely loved him.
Our dance floor had so much energy, and we heard from so many friends and family members afterward about how much they loved the music and how great our DJ was. He was attentive to the crowd throughout the night and made sure everyone was having a good time.
He was also wonderful to work with leading up to the wedding—responsive, easygoing, and genuinely interested in getting to know us and what we wanted our wedding to feel like.

- DJ DonDJ/MCDJ Don aka “The Refix King” is a Nigerian-American Self Taught Dj born and raised in New York. He started Djing in 2014 and has had the opportunity to work with many Afrobeat artists such as Afro B, Burna Boy, Eddy Kenzo, Teemanay, Young Paris and more. Dj Don is best known for his seamless transitions when mixing between different songs/genres. His style of music is Afrobeats, Pop, Reggae, Soca, Hip Hop, House, and more. He was awarded “Cultural Ambassador’ by the West Indian American Day Carnival Association (WIADCA) to acknowledge his impact on the music culture in New York. DJ Don has played in Dubai, The Bahamas, and the Dominican Republic. He has played at One Africa Music Festival for a crowd of 20,000 people. DJ Don is currently working on honing his producing skills and looking to make music of his own.

Dj O was so helpful and friendly from the very first conversation we had here on the Knot. Right away I felt comfortable in knowing he would help me execute our big day. When we began to plan and he saw that I was CLUELESS About even planning a wedding he offerd all of his knowledge about how to make things run smoothly. He was always available to answer questions and be flexible with our really hectic schedule. As the day started to get closer I began to get nervous again and he assured me everything would be perfectly fine and he was correct. Our Dancefloor was jumping from beginning to end. Although I began discussing photography later on in the planning journey the photographers from Ocrossproductions were ready to jump in and bring our dream photos to life. Out photographer was Jay and he was the best!!! We talked during the reception on when he was going to capture photos of my family and friends. He was patient with some relatives who are just HARDHEAD lol, he made me and my husband feel so comfortable in front of the camera, he was able to capture beautiful shots of my children ( even my 9 month old. I could go on and on about how beautifully my day was executed. I am just so greatful to have had out big day made into reality.
