Got married on 04/11/2026 and I would highly recommend this venue to any bride to be! Not only is the venue in such a beautiful location but the venue staff really make it a stress...
-free and enjoyable day! The cottage, the barn, the staff, the location, the support leading up to the wedding - EVERYTHING was a 5/5 for us! Our friends and family cannot stop talking about how perfect the day was so if you're looking for a venue, definitely give Oakleaf Cottage a look!
Absolutely beautiful venue, the coordinator Autumn and her husband Mickey were so helpful. The venue setting up everything was awesome, they did a great job and completely brought ...
my vision to life! The fact they had all the decor onsite saved me time and money! However they are SO specific about who you hire for catering. It was almost impossible to find someone they approved of in my budget. They have very strict guidelines regarding being a green venue, that I appreciate. However there were things that often made me wonder why I’m paying 10k and I can’t even have the small things I want! The shuttle transportation situation was not great, I had a November wedding so it was chilly and with 1 van to transport 115 guests it was pretty bad. For those who plan on having drinks should know it’s a dry county so no alcohol. Some of the groomsmen had no idea it was a dry county and brought liquor as a gift to my husband in the cottage only, when we returned from pictures the owners had searched our PERSONAL bags (bridesmaid and brides that included bras, lingerie and personal items) and confiscated all liquor and put them in a plastic bucket in the parking lot off site without even letting us know. We were not serving the alcohol- nor did we intend to break county or venue rules. The owners Cris and her husband were quite rude on the day of rehearsals and the wedding day. It didn’t ruin the day but most certainly set an unprofessional tone for the whole experience. My family and guests had lots of complaints about them. I felt bad and embarrassed that they had treated my guests and family with disrespect. A family friend said she attended a wedding the weekend before mine and they had DOUBLE booked a wedding….
Oakleaf was an incredible venue! Beautiful location and an amazing team! It was exactly what we were looking for and I love the focus on green practices and sustainability! Bonus: ...
it was great that our dog could be a part of our day <3
Oakleaf Cottage was the best thing that could’ve ever happen for our wedding. The most gracious and wonderful staff we’re constantly eager to help in the best way possible.

venues we visited were more interested about the full cost we would pay to use their facilities and if there was a way they could to add more to the total. However, Oakleaf Cottage greeted us and let the venue speak for itself, it never seemed like they pushed us to spend more or that the money was the only reason they were there. Simply put Oakleaf Cottage made us feel like their mission was to celebrate our love and marriage with as much ease to us as possible. Their staff and their wedding coordinator Autumn Robinson (an absolute God send) made me feel like I was not planning a wedding by myself, they were definitely way more prepared than I was. The wedding was an absolute success with no problems and no hiccups in the process. They truly went above and beyond to take care of us.
My husband and I would choose Oakleaf Cottage and their staff as our wedding venue 1000 times over! It is the most beautiful natural venue we had ever looked at that is seizes to amaze us. Our wedding photos were absolutely GORGEOUS. The inventory that Oakleaf Cottage offers is immaculate with plenty of options and beautiful pieces like silverware, plates, glasses, linens, furniture, pieces… I could go on and on.
All this to say, our wedding was the best day of our lives and we owe it to Oakleaf Cottage as a whole. The staff, the inventory, the kindness, and the view, we are eternally grateful for, till death do us part ;)
Was in the bridal party for a wedding at this venue. Absolutely spectacular scenery, especially in the fall when leaves have changed. Autumn Robinson was the coordinator and made t...
he wedding seamless. Easy 5 stars.
There are truly no words to express how perfect our wedding was at Oakleaf thanks to all the help from Autumn, our coordinator, Cris, and all the other employees who worked tireles...
sly the day of. The moment my husband and I first visited the venue we knew it was everything we wanted and more, and we could not have been happier with our decision. Not only is Oakleaf exceptionally beautiful and magical but it goes above and beyond to make their venue sustainable, and that was something very important to us when looking for a venue. During all our meetings leading up to our wedding, Cris was a calming, excited and patient force that I don't think you can find at any other venue. Autumn was just the same. She was truly invested and interested in getting to know my husband and I, sharing in our joy and our vision for the wedding. I also think it is important to note that every wedding vendor or small business in the area knows about Cris and Oakleaf and had nothing but positive raves to give. From the local coffee shop, to our florist, there was nothing but good things to be said about the venue and the staff, and that continued to reassure us that we made the best decision we could have. I could relax on my wedding day knowing that Cris, Autumn and Dave were working overtime to make sure everything was running smoothly, and if there were any issues that came up, I never would have known about it. I know that my wedding day was perfect because of everything they did and I could not write enough to express how much I recommend them!
This is the most magical venue ever!!!! If you are looking for a stunning and unique place to get married....look no further! The staff and owner are very caring, knowledgeable, he...
lpful, and will make your dreams come true. They helped us with every step along the way and went above and beyond on my wedding day! Autumn R. was my coordinator and really knocked it out of the park! She held my hand when I needed her and made sure my vision come to life! I would not have had my dream wedding if it was not for her!!!!! Another amazing part about Oakleaf, is that they care about the environment and they are trying to make every wedding 100% sustainable. I'm so glad that I was able to find a place that has 90% of your rental needs and its part of their different packages you can choose from! I can't say enough good things about Oakleaf Cottage except, for "Go see the place. You won't regret it!!"
So we found Oakleaf almost on accident. We were driving north through Chattanooga to check out a different venue and saw this one was one the way. Figured we'd stop and tour it sin...
ce we had time, and that was the best wedding decision we made. We fell in love because this place is absolutely amazing! Cris, Dave, Autumn, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond for us and made our wedding more beautiful than we ever could have hoped.
They made the ceremony site look and feel like a quiet meadow in the woods, they dressed the barn up in greenery, they even found driftwood for the tables that looked perfect with our flowers and decor.
They are very easy to work with and very patient with their couples. And their catalog is fantastic and has so many options. On the day of, they do pretty much everything. They are quick, organized, and efficient. I think it's very telling that all our vendors were very excited when they found out where they'd be working.
They are also open and honest with what they believe is practical and possible and will help you figure out how to do what you want to do.
We recommed Oakleaf in the strongest terms.
Absolutely phenomenal. Staying in the cottage was so helpful, and the owners are genuinely good human beings that want you to have a nice wedding. The trees are just breathtaking a...
nd everything ran so smoothly. Be aware that if you don’t live around here, there are very few hotels to stay at! But the hassle of that is worth this venue. Would always go back. Choose the fall! The leaves changing added so much dimension to the area. There were some bugs but not nearly as many as you think there would be in a forest venue.
I cannot explain in words how perfect our wedding was in September. Cris, Dave and the whole Oakleaf team are just simply amazing. Not only is this venue just tucked away in the mo...
untains and beautiful, but it's sustainable and the they have awesome green practices. Cris answered all of our questions along the way, no matter how silly. The inventory they have on site to use is just perfect. We are so glad we that we came across this venue and had the pleasure of meeting someone as wonderful as Cris!
I was looking for a forest venue for my destination wedding and came across Oakleaf Cottage. When we toured the venue and met Cris & Dave, we knew that it was the perfect place for...
us to have our wedding! The grounds were absolutely breathtaking! On top of the venue being an absolute dream, Cris & Dave are the sweetest! They were very accommodating, recommended vendors and ideas for the wedding, and overall were just helpful in the whole planning process. You can tell they have a real passion for creating beautiful weddings! I could not have picked a better place and I highly recommend Oakleaf Cottage!
My heart belongs to the woods & mountains so there was never a doubt that I would get married in them. I have no idea how I ended up stumbling upon Oakleaf Cottage, but I am so tha...
nkful I did. Cris & Dave have done a beautiful job updating/maintaining/improving this venue. They are accommodating, friendly, and were patient with me (especially being a destination wedding for us). They recommended a lot of our vendors & helped make our day as unique as we are. It was absolutely beautiful & perfect in our very own way.
I absolutely cannot begin to put into words how amazing my daughter's wedding at Oakleaf Cottage was; nor can I thank Cris and her husband enough for all of the time, council and e...
ffort they put into making sure the day was perfect for my daughter and her love. We also rented the cottage for the weekend and it was perfect. There was plenty of room for all the ladies to get ready in the morning, the caterers had all they needed to get prepped for appetizers and dinner, and the bridal party had a safe snuggly place to retreat after a full day of fun. You will NOT be doing your wedding justice if you do not go check this place out. Thanks, Cris for all your help! You are an amazing human!
I cannot give this place enough stars. Cris and Dave are wonderful people who have the most amazing venue I've ever seen. It was a perfect day and they made sure that everything we...
