The food was amazing, I wish I had more but it was very good and all worth the price. Overall this made my dream wedding come true.

makes sure the wedding planning process is as stress free as possible, she is very organized and goes out of her way to help make your day special. Oak Mountain is absolutely beautiful and gives your guests such a unique experience, getting to ride a ski lift to overlook mountains for the ceremony. Our friends and family raved about the views, how beautiful the reception hall is and most importantly the food! SO many guests told us that it was the best food they have every had at a wedding and we agree! The reception room is naturally beautiful with little decoration needed. Oak Mountain is a small family run business so they are so sure to make you feel special. They also only have one wedding per weekend so that you are able to set up the reception space exactly how you want it the day before the wedding, and they allow you to come back the following morning to pick up your things, so you do not have to stress the night of. I could go on and on all day, they were so amazing and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. My husband and I will be back many times this winter to ski and eat at the Acorn Pub!

d to make our day so special. Laura was so easy to work with. Due to COVID restrictions and our desire to have an intimate wedding, we were able to have our reception in the restaurant area of the venue. It fit our vision and our group of 27 perfectly! Our summit ceremony was beautiful and was so much fun for all. The food was SO delicious that we can't wait to visit the restaurant again. We couldn't have asked for anything more (even despite Mother Nature). The rain made the day that much more memorable (thank you for blasting the heat to dry & warm us all up in the lodge, Laura!). The Oak Mountain team was so flexible and pleasant to work with. We highly recommend Oak Mountain and the town of Speculator for your special day.

ckly answered any questions we had and made it so we didn’t have to worry about anything.
Chef Lou did an exceptional job with the food. Every item we had was fantastic. We’ve been craving the caramel pecan brie ever since!
We had an incredible day and heard from several of our guests that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. We cannot thank Laura and the staff at Oak enough for making our day perfect.

are so accommodating and great to work with. Not to mention Oak Mountain is absolutely beautiful. The top of the mountain in breathtaking with both mountain and lake views. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor ceremony with a rustic indoor reception, I would whole heartedly recommend Oak without a doubt. They truly made our wedding day an amazing and beautiful experience. Oh and the food is AMAZING!!!

and relaxed, but cute and cozy. Not your standard bland banquet hall, which is exactly what we wanted. All of our family and friends were raving about how great it was! Laura O'Brien is a lovely individual and, as your host, she makes you feel right at home. And in the end, everything went perfectly! It was an emotional and incredible day for us, and we were so glad to share it with them. They made it all that much easier to enjoy the occasion. We had absolutely no complaints whatsoever about our experience and we would strongly suggest anyone looking to have an Adirondack wedding go straight to them!
