I spent months going back and forth on if I ‘needed’ a day of coordinator, ultimately I knew I didn’t want to be the one handling my timeline on the big day, nor did I want that burden on my loved ones! From our first meeting both me & my now husband knew Kathleen would be a great fit. She has a lot of care and we knew she’d fight FOR us if she needed to. We had a few meetings leading up to the big day to check in on where we were at in the process and her checklists were incredibly helpful and customizable to us. Kathleen was very communicative if I ever had a question and checked in to see if we needed anything throughout the process. On the big day she was truly a rockstar. She helped so much with set up, checked in on everyone, did some problem-solving behind the scenes, and kept us on track throughout the day! Kathleen is such a pro and so easy to be around, we are so glad we put our trust in her for such an important day. She teamed up with all the other vendors to create actual magic. Oak and Ivy Events is amazing!! Kathleen helped me plan every detail step by step leading up to the wedding, offered professional support, but also emotional support in times when the wedding planning became stressful. She made herself readily available to me for every detail and gave us deadlines for when certain things needed to be completed by. I even had an emergency where our bartender backed out 2 days before the wedding and Kathleen had someone immediately ready to jump in!! She was able to put out so many fires! Day of, Heather was there to execute the plans and did a fantastic job communicating with bridesmaids, vendors, and family members. She kept everything on track with time and was supportive even till the end of the night ensuring every detail happened! My husband and I are so grateful for their team and leadership and couldn’t have done it without their help and support!!
