We worked with NYX Entertainment for our December 2024 wedding and they were nothing short of phenomenal. Our guests are still raving about the NYX Live DJ Fusion experience at our...
reception and the incredible string artists who made our ceremony so special. Howie, Kitty, CRoME, Fred, and the entire team made our wedding event a priority, and we felt that in every interaction. Truly, none of our guests wanted the night to end and several told us this was the best wedding they've ever been to, and the entertainment was a HUGE part of that. It was an absolute dream come true!
Hiring NYX entertainment for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Kitty was communicative and so organized and made the planning process so easy. We had booked DJ, Fu...
sion band with DJ, Lighting, String trio and a photo booth with NYX. Howie is the BEST! and he has such a great team working with him. He knows how to read the room and keeps the party going. The dance floor was packed the whole night. Everyone had such a great time and NYX entertainment was a huge part of that. Definitely recommend Howie and his team for your next event!!
Selecting NYX Entertainment for our DJ and Entertainment services was one of the best decisions we made during wedding planning! After postponing our wedding three times due to th...
e COVID-19 pandemic, we were ready to party and they made it happen! Howie and his team were professional, understanding, and accommodating given lots of uncertainty, and truly wanted us to have the best event possible. Howie was the perfect DJ! He knew exactly what to play when and kept our guests on the dance floor all night. I would highly recommend NYX Entertainment for your next event!
Howie at NXY came highly recommended to us. We were immediately impressed by how comforting and confident he was that he could create the party atmosphere we wanted at our wedding....
He worked with us to make sure all of our favorite songs were played and that the event stayed up-tempo and on schedule. Not an easy task. NXY and Howie also did our lights, AV and photo-booth. All get rave reviews.
Most importantly, my wedding was a blast! All our loved ones had a great time. He really worked with us, the venue and the crowd to make sure things stayed fun and the dance floor stayed packed.
Thanks Howie!!
I would recommend this company, and our specific DJ ten times over. DJ Mario did our wedding, and he was exactly what we were looking for. Engaging but not too intrusive, kept the ...
party going the whole time, knew exactly what songs to play when (to keep the mood right). I've had numerous people, both young and old, asking who did our music and what their contact information was for future reference.
The entire experience from beginning to end was seamless, and their online portal makes looking through songs and choosing songs so easy. The recommended flow of the reception was great, and they were very flexible with our venue in terms of setting up. I'm so glad someone recommended them to me, and that we spent the money to follow through. They were a little bit more pricey than others, but to me it was absolutely worth it. Music was very important to us and was a high priority, so we made that happen.
On our wedding day and over the days that followed, my wife and I received glowing compliments on the music, entertainment, and other touches that were thought up by the creative a...
nd engaging people of NYX. They made our wedding more fun than I could have imagined, and I can't recommend them highly enough!
What Howie, DJ Johnny Mel, and the rest of Howie's talented and friendly entertainers bring to the table is a totally unforgettable guest-centric experience. I was impressed at how much his planning centered around making sure the guests were happy, comfortable, and having the time of their lives. He was full of unique and brilliant suggestions. Not to say that he didn't focus on our wants or needs - quite the opposite. He frequently took our ideas and make them even better. Trust in Howie - you'll be glad you did!
The end result was the perfect blend of eating, dancing, and entertainment for people of all ages. My mom had never danced before, but she was having such a good time that she eventually overcame her nervousness and actually danced with me and my dad!
I feel lucky and grateful that NYX Entertainment was available to make my wedding so memorable. I now understand why they've won so many awards for providing the best entertainment in the DC / Maryland / Virginia area - based on the genuine feedback we've received, they deserve it!
Andrew Larris was a fabulous emcee! DJ couch rocked the house. The uplighting looked fantastic.
