NY Jukebox

ographer for a wedding that we were both hired for, and it's unusual that I leave reviews for other vendors, but NY Jukebox was literally one of the best I've ever worked with and I had to come give em some love. The dance floor was absolutely nuts all night, they played songs that weren't just part of your typical wedding band playlist. It was unique and fun, and most importantly the couple and the guests had an AMAZING time. Hopefully we get to work together again in the future!

they talented! They absolutely nailed our first dance "Best part". They let me sit in and play guitar to my new wife. It was unforgettable!! The dance floor was packed the whole night and we even hired them to play more til the venue said no!! Highly highly recommend! You won't regret it!

the start. We had several calls together over a year that helped us plan the perfect music plan for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Most wedding bands are corny as hell. This band is not! They set the perfect tone for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and then rocked the hell out of our reception. All of the band members are supremely talented and left our guests amazed, and then tired from all the dancing. Book this band and you won't regret it

ue before, but were super flexible in working with us to tour the space and prepare appropriately for the wedding. We appreciated that they were clearly invested in putting on a good show! NY Jukebox really nailed the perfect playlist for us and all our guests. Our entire guest list raved about how good the band was and the dance floor was full and energetic the whole night. They truly sounded better than any live band (professional, wedding, etc) I've ever heard. We are so happy we chose NY Jukebox. Details: Wedding was in the indoor main hall of the Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn. We ended up having the full band option w/ 6 musicians (drums, guitar, bass, piano, two horns) and two singers. We highly recommend this choice. Each musician brought their A-game and every song they played sounded vibrant and full. Nothing they played sounded like just a cover. Many thanks again to Vinny and Pam and the rest of NY Jukebox for making our reception a blast!

zing energy throughout the entire wedding – from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception and after-party. Everyone was on the dance floor all night and couldn’t stop raving about the band/music! Thank you NYJ!

adequate space for dancing. We booked the hybrid option, which is something neither of us had heard of. It ended up being perfect - gave us the energy that only live music can give while allowing plenty of space for our guests to dance. The 5 piece option packed a punch and our guests are still commenting on the music. From the beginning, Pam was so easy to work with and incredibly responsive. She was patient with all of our questions and worked easily both with us and our planner. We gave very vague direction on the song list for the reception, just requesting a mix across genres appealing to a variety of ages. We're so glad we weren't prescriptive with our requests! The group read the room and kept the dance floor going all night! Outside of being incredibly talented, the group was so kind and genuinely excited to be part of our special day. Book NY Jukebox for your wedding - you won't regret it!

s and so helpful in every single way. They care about what you (as the bride and groom) want to listen to on your special day and helped bring such an awesome fun time vibe to the venue. Every single person came up to us or texted us saying how amazing our band was. And we agreed a million times over. We don’t have enough time nor characters in this box to describe how amazing NYJ is so you just need to hire them and hear for yourself. We love you guys!! Thank you for making our day that much better.

ent with the most talented and professional musicians and singers I've ever seen at a wedding. If this review sounds really over the top it's because they are really that good and I think worth every penny. From the beginning of wedding planning I was dreading finding the right entertainment. For some reason that just seemed really daunting. We planned a medium size wedding with about 70-75 guests. I didn't feel like hiring only a DJ was right for us to get a good energy level in the room with a smaller group, but I was nervous about finding a band with the right sound too. From the first conversation, Vinny was SO responsive and excited about our wedding. Vinny invited us to go see them play live at a local bar in NYC and it was SO MUCH FUN. I got to meet Vinny and Pam and they're just the absolute nicest people and that's really what I wanted to surround myself with working on our wedding. Also the sound and vibes in the crowd was even more amazing then on video. So we chose NY Jukebox for our wedding and I'm soooo happy we did! The process was so smooth working together from start to finish. Even during the stressful times of planning, when I'd talk to Vinny he'd remind me what a fun day it was going to be and that they were so excited and it always made me feel a little better and remember it was going to be a really special day! I really can't say enough about how nice it is to have a vendor who you feel cares as much about your day as you do. We asked them to perform both at our cocktail hour and reception. For the cocktail hour they did guitar and saxophone playing jazz and bossa nova which created a really nice chill but upscale environment for people to hang out and chat with each other. For the reception we had the DJ, saxophone, guitar, and two vocalists. Again, it was just so. much. fun. The sound of all the musicians and DJ is just so good, energetic, and exciting. Their song list has a wide variety and caters to everybody. All generations will feel included. They clearly know how to get the volume right for the space (ours was a small ish venue), it was never so loud that people couldn't still talk and catch up with each other at their tables but just loud enough to have people get excited to dance. Even though we have some more reserved family members, I still noticed them up and dancing. Our friends were literally up and dancing until the very last song when the reception ended, we had such an amazing night. I will recommend NY Jukebox to anyone! In fact many of our guests have already asked about them for people they know who are wedding planning. Thank you guys for everything!!

verything else concerning our big day (thank you dad!) We were just so worried about a smaller setting due to Covid, how many guests had to be cut out of the initial 100-guest list to 25… Anyway, this year has been a rough one, but NYJ made it as smooth as they could make it for us not to worry about the music. My husband and I opted for a low-profile ceremony with just one guitar which was flawless, and they came up with the alternative of playing great atmospheric music during our cocktail hour, dinner and speeches. In the end, their awesome DJ was able to turn it ‘up’ (with dance-floor limitations) and still make the party happen! All of the guests were so pleased with the music, not being able to get so loud actually has its advantages and our wedding evening couldn’t be more perfect. A day to remember; thank you Pam and NY Jukebox!

obody left the dance floor and they were amazing at reading the room for the right song choice. Hire them.

had so much fun! So many of our guest came up to us the days after telling us how much they loved the band. On top of killing it on the wedding night, NY Jukebox was one of the best vendors to work with leading up to our wedding. Vinny and Pam are very easy to work with, and it was stress free working with them. They gave great recommendations for songs, and really understood what we were looking for when it came to music selection and flow of the night. They do what they can on their end not to flood you with questions and stress you out. You can really tell how hard they work to give bride and groom the best night. We were so happy with them!

and understanding of everything we wanted. The actual wedding day was amazing, the band was incredible, Chauncey, Rhianna and everyone were better than we even expected, our guests were up and dancing the whole time and we got so many compliments on the music from our guests! NY Jukebox truly made the day so special and fun, we highly recommend!

tastic and it made it difficult to leave the dance floor. Our first dance song was a special request and was executed beautifully. From start to end, the music truly made our day unforgettable. It was a bonus that Pam was very professional and helpful during the entire process! We would highly recommend to anyone in the NY area!!

get! They truly delivered on their performance and Pam brought her passionate energy and love for music to the dance floor which was felt by our guests. We loved every moment of their performance, starting with a light performance for cocktail hour & dinner service followed by an evening of amazing music and non-stop dancing. Pam and the band did an amazing job of reading the crowd to ensure they performed songs that maintained the high energy of the dance floor. Our friends & family kept raving about them after the wedding and we feel so lucky to have New York Jukebox be part of our special day. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, Pam was always available to answer our calls & questions which of course was peace of mind to any couple in midst of wedding planning during COVID. We highly recommend Pam & the rest of the band members of New York Juke Box and we can't thank them enough for helping us make our wedding day so special!! ~Stephanie and Simon

mpt, polite and ready to make things run as smooth as possible. Aside from that, the whole band’s talent in insane, and you can tell they really love being there. Recommend then 100%

our wedding, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, was absolutely amazing, and all our guests were on the dance floor all night and wouldn't stop asking us where we found this band. I would highly recommend them for any event, not just weddings.

e car), When they asked us what kind of music we loved and wanted to hear, we said "We're eclectic, do your thing". And OMG. Every other song had us looking to whoever was besides us with our jaws dropped saying "I can't believe it!!!" Some songs I remember blowing our minds were Without Me - Eminem and Walk This way by Aerosmith. I wanna throw anther party just to hire them again!!!

e, so their small set was perfect. We had a solo guitar for our ceremony, which was perfectly intimate and beautiful, a solo guitar for our cocktail hour, and the 4 member band; two singers, a DJ and Guitar. Wow, I can’t tell you how blown away I was!! These guys performed like there was no tomorrow! They even helped me set up a surprise song for my bride, where I played the saxophone. We had a quick hidden rehearsal during cocktail hour. All the musicians were very helpful and accommodating. They made our party!!! Thank you Vinny and NY jukebox!!!

m was very stress free and pleasant. And then they killed it at our party! SO special!

glad we chose NY Jukebox to get our party going. The singers were amazing and so kind to us, even though the catering company had a little delay bringing food out for the band, they were still smiling and entertaining our guests like true professionals. The best!

nny and their entourage! I was in touch with Pam for about 1 year before our big day, and she would get back to me at any time of the day or night, always so quick and helpful to me. From our 1st phone call I knew they were the right pick. They helped us choose our songs for the ceremony and parent dances (we only knew what our 1st dance was gonna be), and even during the cocktails I saw some of my musician family members speaking highly of them on the corner which is something rare to see! During the party I can’t say enough good things about NY Jukebox, simply nonstop dancing and their energy… The singers would come down and interact and sing with the guests, while the saxophonist and DJ were simply amazing on stage, taking care of the music and being so cool. Would hire them again no doubt! 11/10!

ut of the bands we researched in NYC, they were so quick to respond and were very accommodating with our requests. Because we were in such a rush, we had no time to see them live; SCARY! So we booked them trusting their promo video. We couldn't believe our luck. Now we're so glad the other band cancelled, they were even better than their promo video. Their energy and musicians are just INCREDIBLE!!! BOOK THEM!!

3 piece!! The experience with them from the moment we reached out to the reception was hassle free. Vinny was very pleasant, kind and flexible with our requests! 100% recommend!

y absolutely rocked!! Thank you NY Jukebox!!

wd and choose the right songs is incredible. They are professional, punctual and flexible and Pam coordinates arrangements seamlessly, aside from being a delightful person. I promise you won't be sorry if you hire them!

ou can, check them out at their shows in the city, you will know they’re the ones to book. They’re the best!!!

a low key wedding last year with 80 guests, and the dance floor was full throughout the whole reception. Recommend!

logistics (travel costs, etc) only allowed us to pick that date. After months of careful research, we were so happy to run into NY Jukebox. We then watched them play live and were just intoxicated by their energy. We had to see them live to check out the DJ and band combination, but make no mistake - they can rock so hard! It couldn’t have been different on our wedding night! We - and our families and friends wouldn’t leave the dance floor and didn’t want the party to stop. They set the party vibe so well and the bar so high! Their organization throughout the whole evening was impeccable, they had a smaller setting for the ceremony which set the mood perfectly for the most special moment; they even used guitar and voice to play a song we requested on my wife’s entrance, which drove everyone to tears. Also provided us music during the cocktails, again with a smaller setting, giving us no headaches as far as music whatsoever. The band leader Pam, was so funny and cordial, always available for us and made sure the music was going on nonstop throughout the whole evening. NY Jukebox is by far, the best band in the area for the best price you’re going to find. No hidden prices, everything clear and a very responsive communication. Book them NOW!

ssaged them, worried about cancellation fees and logistics, they were very responsive, flexible and prompt to reschedule our date, no fee charged! Can’t wait til they rock our wedding!!!

ere so professional and friendly, plus they are KILLER musicians. So many guests came up to us during the night saying how incredible they were. We were very indecisive about our first dance. We changed it 4 times and they had all 4 ready for us just in case! :)Their price is amazing and they look amazing!! Everything about them is amazing! I'm so happy to have had them at our wedding!

jukebox made our night!!!!

Aside from the fact that they are amazing musicians, the DJ has amazing energy and great taste in song choices. It was amazing. They did everything I wanted and some more that I didn’t know I wanted :) Thank you NYC Jukebox ❤❤❤

d singer and a guitar. Felt like a 13 piece band! So much energy! 100% recommended.
