Rev Crystal was marvelous for our vow renewal ceremony. She personalized our service to fit our event and was very open to our requests. Thanks again for making our day so special!...
Crystal was truly amazing from start to finish! I appreciate that she really took the time to get to know my partner and I before our special day and it made all the difference in ...
our ceremony as she connected her message to us as individuals. The little details and her additional ceremony offerings are what made our ceremony feel extra special and completely us. Not only was she well-prepared, transparent, and extremely responsive, Crystal brought a genuine positive spirit with her, and everyone in the room felt it. We had an intimate elopement at an Airbnb and I was worried it might feel awkward to bring in Crystal, someone I hadn't met before, but she instantly made things comfortable and calm. I would recommend Northern Michigan Wedding officiants to any couple - I feel confident Crystal will make your day all the more special!!!
REV. Crystal was an absolute find to be our officiant for our wedding. She got to know us and took the time to personalize our wedding ceremony to our personalities. She was extrem...
ely easy to work with and I would highly recommend her.
My husband and I worked with Sheila for our wedding ceremony. From the beginning, she was very warm and welcoming and we could tell she genuinely cared and wanted the best for us. ...
All the documentation she initially sent over for us to review was extremely helpful and easy to follow to curate our perfect ceremony. She gave great suggestions and listened to all our wants while we worked together leading up to the wedding day. She was very responsive as well and made the effort to follow up with us to ensure we were all on the same page with everything. My husband and I did not particularity want any religion incorporated in our ceremony and she was very receptive about it and encouraged our unique ceremony ideas.
On the day of the wedding, Sheila performed very well, spoke calmly and lovingly, which really eased our nerves standing up at the alter.
Even after the ceremony, the signing of the marriage license went smoothly with her and she immediately sent it out to the respective destination for quick processing, relieving us from that task during all the wedding craziness.
We highly recommend working with Sheila. It is obvious she loves this job, and she even left us with some great advice and helped us truly be in the moment on our wedding day.
Crystal was so fantastic! Talking with her about the kind of ceremony we wanted was so easy and she made us so comfortable from day 1. She also gave us wonderful life advice in gen...
eral during our chats which we really appreciate. She was extremely helpful with marriage license related things as well and has plenty of experience.
Our small wedding had 25 guests and there wasn’t a dry eye at the ceremony. She speaks so beautifully and just has a calming demeanor about her. I couldn’t be happier with choosing her for our wedding! Thank you Crystal!
Rev. Crystal was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant in Northern Michigan. Once we agreed on a contract and plan, we met over t...
he phone/FaceTime multiple times leading up to our wedding date. She was very receptive to our wishes and suggestions, and we also loved the way she proceeded with the spaces of creative freedom we agreed on. We most loved how she incorporated fun and lighthearted, but very touching personal aspects of both my partner and I, making it feel so absolutely personal. Again, absolutely loved working with Rev. Crystal and thank her for everything she did!

w weeks before our wedding we received the itinerary for how she would do the ceremony and it did not reflect the changes that my husband and I had asked for. We reached out via email and again had a small disagreement about how that part of the ceremony should go. We expressed that it was important to us to have it said the traditional way and Crystal agreed to do it this way. HOWEVER, the day of the wedding Crystal completely ignored our wishes and did it her way instead. This felt extremely disrespectful towards me and my husband on our wedding day. If we would have known that she was just lying about how she would do that part of the ceremony, we would have found another officiant (regardless of the non-refundable deposited). We just feel disrespected, lied to, and now will have a reminded of this every time we watch our wedding video. Very sad. If you disagree with something that Crystal has in her ceremonies I suggest finding someone else!
We are so happy that we found Rev. Crystal!! Her ceremony was the perfect blend of lighthearted and serious, and personalized to us! This was exactly what we wanted and she helped ...
to make our ceremony truly special. The whole process of working with her was very smooth. She sent a large packet with nice options for readings and vows - there was a lot to choose from! In our planning meeting with her it was clear that she really cares about learning about the couples that she works with. We received many compliments from our guests on the beautiful ceremony and readings. We highly recommend reaching out to her!!
Crystal takes the time beforehand to meet and get to know you. We did a handfasting ceremony without a rehearsal and everything was beautiful!
Rev Crystal was prepared and did a wonderful job of personalizing the wedding. We met remotely and exchanged details and the day ended up beautiful. Highly recommended!!

But Crystal NAILED it, she was litterly the highlight of our whole night. She had the most beautiful and meaningful things to say with out the ceremony being to heavy.

Her list of wedding vow suggestions were valuable and were instrumental in helping us personalize our ceremony. Her officiation at the ceremony captured the sacredness of the event, the spirt of our surrounds and the joyfulness of our hearts. We thoroughly appreciated her talking charge of the marriage license follow up and we received our copies in short order.
We would highly recommend Crystal to anyone!

riage of a couple. Our experience with her was not only the day of the wedding, she met with us multiple times prior to the wedding in order to understand our relationship. She asked us questions that actually helped us get to know one another in a way that we had not before. alities. From the first moment we spoke with Crystal, we were instantly put at ease. We loved that she took time to ask us questions about us as a couple and the qualities we valued in each other. This meant so much more to us than sticking with a standard ceremony script. She also did a wonderful job acknowledging loved ones who we've lost in a way that emphasized the qualities of that individual that are still present in the couple today. We got so many compliments on the ceremony from those who were present with us that day and we certainly will remember our ceremony for years to come.

She did not disappoint. The ceremony was thoughtful and she was able to make us laugh and cry. We would highly recommend Crystal and her company.

edding, we knew instantly when we contacted her the year before that we picked the perfect person to officiate our wedding.
Our guests were deeply touched by the ceremony as were we. Here are quotes from our guests that we wanted to share here: "Her words could enrich all the marriages witnessing your marriage"
"She truly did a unique and beautiful ceremony. Wonderful that it truly reflected you both"
"I learned more about you and your husband through the ceremony because it was so unique and tailored to you two".
We are beyond grateful for her work to make our ceremony quite special - it really made for a super personal and truly unique and tailored ceremony!
And the best yet, she put in a donation to the charity of our choice in honor of our wedding! So not only does she make your day special with an amazing ceremony, but also honors it by donating to a charity and in this case for us was a local wildlife rehabilitation center, Wings of Wonder.
Thank you Rev. Crystal for everything! If you are looking for an amazing Reverend and officiant for your wedding, look no further - you found the perfect person! We highly recommend Rev. Crystal!
When we decided to get married up in the Traverse City area, we were very excited to find our venue and plan all of the details around our big day. Our wedding was truly a destina...
tion wedding for all of our friends and family. Since we were traveling in from Chicago, the biggest question we had was who would we find to marry us as we were not getting married in a church and we were not local. We wanted to find someone that would bring a personal touch and was trying to find the perfect person that could be a part of such an intimate moment in front of our friends and family. I had read some reviews and we based on great reviews, we went with Crystal. We opted to pay a bit more to have a more personal ceremony and it was one of the most unique and great ceremonies!! Guests commented on how personal it was and what a special ceremony it was. She spent time leading into the ceremony to really get to know us, and those close to us to create such a truly special ceremony for us. I would highly recommend Crystal to anyone looking for an Officiant!! She was so great!!!

Our wedding was just what we wanted and she was an important part of making that happen. I would recommend her to anyone.
