Kendra is the best of the best. I mean it when I say that she played so many pivotal roles in ensuring our wedding was magic in every way.
We booked her about 2 years ahead of...
our wedding for month of coordination. We hired her because we did a backyard DIY wedding, and I didn’t want our families managing / working on the day. We are young and hadn’t been to many weddings ourselves and didn’t know anything about the process.
From our first call, I immediately noticed how calm, confident, and down to earth Kendra was and knew we were in great hands. She has such a good eye and personal sense of style, and I feel like she understood me from the get go. I immediately trusted her with my vision and our hopes and dreams for the wedding. She was such a great sounding board and guide for us in planning the day as well as helped us navigate any and all road blocks that come with throwing a wedding on family property. She kept things on track, calm, and positive.
Looking back, I came to so many decisions and conclusions because of Kendra and I’m so glad I did. Her understanding of logistics was invaluable to have. The wedding turned out absolutely perfect and magical in every way, it was the best day of our lives! I have full confidence that Kendra can do a wedding any style, anywhere, any amount of people. She is the single best decision we made for this process and I am so grateful for her.💛
I couldn't recommend Kendra more! We were planning to solo plan our micro-wedding/elopement, but quickly realized it was more complicated than we thought and we needed help! I was ...
referred to Kendra by a friend whose wedding she had planned that I attended and adored and she was exactly what we needed! Kendra is calm and collected (very helpful for a stressed bride) and was able to help in every area where we needed help. I could ask her all of my dumb questions without judgment and she had an experienced and confident answer to everything. Thanks to Kendra, our wedding day was perfect and stress-free!
Kendra was instrumental in creating an absolutely stunning and seamless destination wedding event. She coordinated it all site unseen, with a venue that was outside of the US, and ...
with vendors that weren't very responsive. In spite of the roadblocks, she helped to negotiate fair prices and created a clear plan for how the day would flow. As the bride, I referred to her as the "CEO of the wedding day" and she embodied that role with both kindness and clarity for our guests and vendors. If you're looking for a planner who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty (literally and metaphorically), is trustworthy, and who will look out for your best interests every step along the way, Nomad Nixon Events is the right planner for you.

lanner, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From start to finish, she exceeded all expectations and made our big day truly unforgettable.
Kendra is a creative genius when it comes to wedding ideas. Her innovative concepts added a unique touch to our wedding, making it stand out in the best way possible. What's even more impressive is her ability to work within our budget without compromising on quality or attention to detail.
Her personal inventory of decor is a game-changer. We had access to her collection of beautiful decorations that elevated the entire ambiance of our wedding. Plus, the fact that she's willing to travel out of state for day-of services is a testament to her dedication.
Kendra is the epitome of organization. She provided us with detailed checklists, invaluable advice, and a list of dos and don'ts that made the entire wedding planning process stress-free. She managed everything flawlessly, ensuring that every day leading up to our big day and beyond was worry-free.
I can't thank Kendra enough for her outstanding work as our wedding planner and her friendship throughout this journey. If you're looking for someone who will turn your wedding dreams into reality, all while keeping your budget intact and your stress levels low, look no further. Kendra is the wedding planner you've been searching for. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone planning their special day. Thank you, Kendra, for making our wedding truly memorable! ✨
Kendra is the absolute best! Kendra handled it all while letting my partner and I be ourselves. She truly helped create an event that represented us and allowed all of our guests, ...
and us, to have an absolute blast.
Kendra is direct, clear, compassionate, and incredibly talented. She was able to answer our questions, help us make good choices, and make sure we were getting what we needed from our vendors.
Most importantly Kendra made the vision we had come to life even when my partner and I did a remarkably poor job of describing what we wanted.
I can't say enough good things about Kendra and the talented guidance she provided us. As parent of the bride my main concern was having things go smoothly and keeping an eye on th...

r two year wedding planning journey. She was there for us at the start and was able to guide us back to our initial goals of having a kickass San Francisco wedding. She organized our park ceremony seamlessly and had an assistant setting up at the restaurant where we had our reception while we bopped around the city on a double decker trolley (shout out Nationwide Limo), showing our guests the best of the city.
If you are looking for a cool, calm & collected wedding coordinator to keep you on track with your wedding dreams, hire Kendra. She's the best!

ect for us and we were thankful for her expertise and support and how easy it was to communicate with her! She kept us on track and helped us when questions arose. Having her guidance while planning a wedding during the pandemic was everything and helped alleviate so much stress for us. She helped connect us with amazing vendors and truly made the actual wedding day so stress free for us. I definitely would recommend her to any of my friends or family!!!
Talk about attention to detail! Kendra has such a good eye, is a calm and organized presence and her aesthetic is amazing. I recommend Nomad Nixon to anyone who asks.
Kendra was absolutely amazing. She was able to transform a blank tent into the most magical evening for my wife and I. Extremely profession and handles issues calmly, discretely an...
d efficiently. The day before the wedding, only 1 of the 8 tables were delivered by mistake. I had no idea there was ever an issue with the tables until a few days after the event. She has a great relationship with vendors which makes coordination 10x better.
She is so creative and goes above and beyond to find different unique pieces to make your vision possible. Thrifty and budget conscious.
We were having a really bad experience with our floral vendor before we reached out to her about the partial planning package. When we decided to switch vendors she took care of all of the communication and essentially broke up with them for us. They tried getting us pay them more than what we already had and she read through the contract and realised that they actually owed us money.
Truly top tier wedding planner, couldn't have done this without her, especially during a pandemic.
Kendra is so amazingly talented, intuitive and fun. She is so creative and every detail is done perfectly. Highly reccomend her for and event!

nd make the process completely stress free. She took care of so many small details that I didn't think of and handled things I wasn't sure how to.
Her decorating skills are unmatched and everything looked so well put together.
She is so laid back and calm which is exactly what we were looking for and helped keep us grounded throughout the weekend.
Truly the best decision we made for our wedding.
Kendra was invaluable to our wedding celebration. We liked her so much we had her do it twice! (JK, that was COVID’s fault.) Don’t let Kendra’s super laidback demeanor fool you — s...
he is on top of all details, all latest trends and fun ideas, and will keep you honest with whatever you need (counts, tips, extras, colors, schedule, etc.). She helped us navigate three different wedding dates, changing COVID guidance, and ultimately keeping everyone safe and healthy. She took care of details I didn’t even realize was in her job description — and kept the fantastic surprises coming right up until the end. If you’re a couple who can articulate your vision and outsource the rest, Kendra is for you.

ith minimal pomp and circumstance, but I received strong advice from friends and family to spring for a day-of coordinator so we could enjoy our day. I am now joining the experts to say you should definitely get a coordinator and you should definitely work with Kendra!
Kendra was an awesome resource during the planning process, providing helpful tools, tips, and vendors recommendations, and being an open book for my questions via email. In the weeks leading up to the day, she was super helpful in pulling everything together and helping us feel like we were well-prepared!
On our wedding day itself, Kendra did an amazing job with all of the details of the day that I could not even imagine taking on while getting married! She kept all of the vendors in the loop and on schedule, set up our decorations beautifully, oversaw clean-up, and was just such an amazing ally and calming presence for us throughout it all.
Thank you so much, Kendra!

She is always there to remind you what the day is truly about. Day of she was an all star, she put in so much time and effort to make sure the day was as perfect as we dreamed up. Anyone who chooses her will be blessed with an amazing experience and a friend. Kendra`s passion for weddings and love stories shines through her work.

e would have certainly overlooked! If I ever I have a need for help with events in the future I would certainly go back to Kendra! She has an amazing aesthetic, takes care of business and helps create what you are looking for!

us keep to it, photos went seamlessly, any rogue family members were handled with care and respect, all vendor issues were filtered through her and handled without me even knowing there were any, and I knew I could trust her to create a beautiful space for our ceremony and reception. She also provided us with ceremony scripts which were beautiful and quite helpful. My dad has told me several times now that Kendra was instrumental to keeping my mom from going too mom-zilla. I don't think my wedding would've been so stress-free without her!

event. Our wedding decor looked so enchanting and well put together! I was in such awe, and so moved that it was my own wedding! I spoke with Kendra about the style my husband and I liked and this design genius used her magical touch to make it all come to life. Kendra takes care of everything in a calm and efficient way.
