Her arrangements on the altar at the church were called “the most beautiful the church had ever seen.” The arrangements were unique, simple, and elegant. She made simple but beautiful and perfect flower crowns for the flower girls. Truly, everything was perfect, and I am so grateful we chose Nola Flora for our wedding.

When I had an unexpected venue change, Ashley and her team were SO flexible and made amazing decor recommendations to fit the venue and budget. uet, they charged me extra because of the succulents, and I was fine with that because I know they cost more. When I saw the bouquet, they only had three succulents in it and it did not have my main wedding color at all. It only had my accent colors in it. I made some revisions for the wedding bouquet because I was not happy with how the bridal bouquet came out. For the wedding, my bridal and bridesmaid bouquets were not what I expected. I asked for dusty grey/purple succulents and they were green with pink tips, and the bridesmaids bouquets were different sizes. I only had three girls standing, so having a noticeably smaller bouquet made a big difference. I believe if I went with a more traditional look and only had roses the bouquets would have been gorgeous, but I would not recommend them if you want something more unique.

The stars aligned! Ashley was fun, friendly, and reassuring. She listened to my ideas and used her creative, “flower ninja” skills to develop a proposal while I was onsite. She designed a beautiful package that fit my budget, but I had the ability to add, delete, or tweak wherever I wanted. There was no pressure to commit while I was there —even though I did! I left the appointment feeling confident that NOLA FLORA would do better than the initial florist ever could. NOLA FLORA went above and beyond anything I could envision. The flowers complemented the venue beautifully. From bouquets and cake flowers, to table decor and floral installations—everything was stunning!! Lucky guests, who took fresh flowers home, enjoyed them for over a week. I will always trust NOLA FLORA with all my flower needs in the future. Since my wedding, they have delivered (contactless) Easter arrangements and “Just because” bouquets. The day of my wedding, they dropped my personal flowers off to me directly and worked directly with the venue for everything else and when I walked in, everything was set up perfectly. hat most vendors were already booked solid. I reached out to Ashley just to see if she would be able to help us. (Did I mention we live in MS, not New Orleans?? And we wanted to get married on a Friday in May??) She emailed me back and said she could and would... Ya’ll... the flowers in my house that day... She arrived on Friday morning with a van full of stems, vases, etc. I sat on my sofa and just watched as she created the most beautiful arrangements for our mantle, dining room table, cake table, little arrangements for our tables outside, and two of the most unbelievable wreaths of fresh flowers for our front doors. I had sent a few pictures, but her vision was so much better! As guests arrived, the reaction to our flowers was unanimous: “WOW!! The flowers!!” Over the last year, I’ve been contacted by a number of brides and moms of brides and friends of brides who saw pictures on FB or Instagram asking who did our flowers, and I am so glad to share my experience w NOLA Flora. Ashley is an artist and a pro!

ID-19 outbreak. Logistically, postponing was too complicated for us to commit to, considering the unknown path of timeframe of COVID-19 and the economic uncertainty. We made it clear that we did not wish to postpone and would like our money refunded. Ashley emailed us back and cited a term in the contract that specifically noting that that wedding insurance is recommended. After that email, she has not responded back to me, and has blocked myself and my fiance from the NOLA FLORA social media accounts. I understand the stress that small businesses are under and I would have met halfway. I hired Nola Flora because I thought they were a business that cared about their customers. However, after my experience, I do not feel as though I was supported by this business.

Leading up to the wedding, there were a few last-minute changes as you could imagine, but they rolled with the punches and handled everything.
