Niki Marie Photography

their attention to detail and helpfulness with all things wedding related will make you feel at such ease on your big day. We can’t thank Niki and Brad enough for capturing our day so perfectly and allowing us relive our special day forever. I cannot recommend them enough!

inute changes and flew down to Miami for our smaller ceremony. Niki and Brad have a way of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which my husband and I especially appreciated. Her photos speak for themselves- they are so timeless and really capture the candid moments through the day. Working with Niki and Brad was the best investment we made for our wedding and we are so happy we get to enjoy these photos for years to come. Could not recommend them more!

gagement, wedding and one year anniversary photos! You won’t find a better photographer or person to capture these timeless memories for you ❤️ sooo thankful for her and all the memories she captured for us ❤️

bride and groom shoot on our special day when everything f else was cancelled. She spent hours with us taking photos to capture our special day. She got me in touch with Motor City Vintage Rentals to add something special to our pictures. She was flexible and so great to work with. So thankful to have met her and had her photograph us. She fixed my dress and hair all day while we got frozen and wind blown during our November session ! Pictures were gorgeous !! I can’t not thank her and Brad enough. I will definitely be bugging her to shoot every photo session for me for the rest of my life !!!!!! Thank you Niki !!!!!!!!!

flawlessly! Throughout the chaos of planning a wedding in 2020, they went above and beyond to be supportive. We are blown away by their genuineness and care. We cannot recommend them enough!

SO talented and were such a big part of our day. They are classy and professional, but beyond that, two genuine and very kind people. They made things run SO seamlessly on the day of, and handled every twist, turn and crazy family member with grace and patience. Niki’s photos are in a league of their own!! God has blessed them both and we were blessed in return to have them as the ones capturing our day. We cannot say enough good things about Brad and Niki! We love them and were blown away by their work. We will have these gorgeous photos to look back on for years to come, thanks to them. <3

wedding photos! Brad is also AWESOME and very talented as well! Niki won’t miss any of your days precious moments either. She captures every special moment throughout your big day!

made my husband and myself feel so comfortable at both our engagement session and our wedding. She has given us such beautiful memories, which we will cherish forever. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

, and such a pleasure to work with. The photos she captured of our wedding are perfect, classic and timeless - we keep receiving so many compliments on them from friends & acquaintances. It was also so helpful that Niki promptly responded to my emails and questions leading up to our wedding day. I am so glad to have found her via the Instagram explore page!

er - and truly, it was the best decision I've ever made. My husband and I are not very comfortable with getting our pictures taken but Niki made it so that everything felt natural and stress free. I will forever cherish our photos from our wedding day - I cannot recommend her enough!

credible! What drew me to her pictures was how natural and not forced they were. I knew investing in a good photographer was important knowing these would be the one thing from my wedding I’d have forever. And it was WELL worth it. Our pictures are timeless, beautiful, and I get complimented by almost everyone who sees our wedding portraits saying how well done they are. I can not recommend her enough, and we are so incredibly happy with our wedding and engagement pictures!

ooked because I loved everything about her personality, professionalism and work. Niki describes her photography as classic and timeless, and that is exactly what it is. I knew I wanted our wedding to be elegant and classic, and Niki captured it perfectly with ageless photos that we will forever look back on and love. She took the time to get know David and I as a couple and made us feel so comfortable and at ease during the entire planning process and through the day of. I cannot thank or recommend Niki enough. Thank you for giving us a way to relive our amazing day over and over!

hey have seen. Upon initially meeting Niki one-on-one and getting to understand her on both a personal and professional level, I knew she was a MUST. She was the first vendor we booked and I can honestly say the most important part of my day. She encompasses professionalism, unmatched talent, and the friendliest, kindest character. It was such a pleasure working with Niki as she was timely in her repsonses, flexible with scheduling, and willing to make any dream a reality. Niki Marie made a magical day come to life, and has provided us with the most beautiful photos to look back for a lifetime at.

hat when I got married she was an absolute must. She was the first vendor I contacted after getting engaged and we picked our wedding date around her availability. Niki makes wedding planning a breeze. She has so many suggestions for engagement photo locations, and other amazing vendors. She really helped me with planning my day of timeline as well. The day of the wedding she was so fun to be around, was there through everything (even a wine fiasco), and made sure everything went perfectly. Our pictures came out absolutely beautiful and I will cherish them forever. They are timeless and classic and I receive so many complements on them. I can’t thank Niki enough for our photos. I can’t recommend her enough!! She will be be the easiest decision you ever make while planning your wedding.

planning my wedding, I found very few that paralleled her photos. We get soo many compliments on our wedding and engagement photos. She is soo easy to work with, and is easy to get a hold of to answer all your questions. You can tell she knows what she is doing, which helped our wedding day run so smoothly. Six months later, I can’t stop looking at our pictures. We are so satisfied and can not recommend Niki Marie enough!❤️

t and wedding photos were more amazing than we ever imagined. Not only did she give us the best memories of our special day, they made sure they captured everything that was important to us (event things we didn't know would be important), and kept everything running smoothly and on time. Our whole family adored working with them throughout the day, and one of my best friends even booked her for her wedding in August 2020! We can't wait to see Niki & Brad again, and we can't recommend them enough to capture your wedding day!!

helpful in wedding planning and creating our day of timeline. When shooting, she takes charge and gives direction to set up a photo, but in a kind way. She is friendly and funny, and it relaxes you so that you are at ease and more natural in front of the camera. She feels like a friend - I didn’t have a bridal party, but Niki came to the rescue and got down on the floor to switch out safety pins in my train when my mom needed help. Her photos speak for themselves - they are breathtaking. She has incredible talent and excels at capturing the emotions of the day. She somehow captured photos of family members’ reactions that I completely missed the day of. Even the portraits that are technically posed don’t look posed or forced because of the instructions she gives. Niki stands out amongst other wedding photographers because her photos are timeless. There are a lot of wedding photography styles that are trendy now but will look dated in years to come - Niki’s won’t. Our photos have a classic feel that looks like they could have been taken in the 1940s, and I know that stylistically they will hold up for generations to come. I look forward to treasuring these photos forever, and I am so grateful to Niki for making that possible. If I had to do it all over again, I would book Niki in a heartbeat - and I would recommend her to any bride. She has the perfect blend of talent, professionalism, and kindness.

f mine. Leading up the wedding Niki was so easy to work with and so helpful! The day of the wedding she was so fun to be around, was there through everything, and made sure everything went perfectly. Not only did the pictures come out absolutely beautiful, but having there the day of my wedding felt like she was a close friend. She gives off such positive energy and makes the day go so smoothly. I can’t thank Niki enough for the beautiful pictures I will always cherish, and for making my wedding day extra special. I can’t recommend her enough.

oser to home or someone slightly cheaper but whenever I looked at another photographers page my head just kept saying "BOOK NIKI" and I am SO glad I did. I was nervous to meet her and ask her to shoot my wedding because it wasn't as elegant as a lot of the other ones she had done, but I knew I would regret it every time I looked at my wedding photos if I didn't. When I met her it felt like I was meeting a friend! She was so accepting, sweet, and professional. She made the entire day run smoothly, calmed me down several times, put up with our obnoxious group, gave us a sneak peak the day after, and had our photos back to us SO quickly. I never felt like I had a photographer following me around all night, it was more like hanging out with a friend! On top of that I have received so many compliments about our wedding photos and all I can say is "I know, isn't she the best?!". 11/10 photographer, worth EVERY penny!!! Also my guys loved her husband brad as a second shooter. They are truly a dream team :-)

usband absolutely hates taking posed photos and she managed to capture some amazing shots without having to force him to pose where he wouldn’t be comfortable! My favorite things about her photography is the classic style, her attention to detail, and the love that goes into each shot. Her candids are also unbelievable, she knows when things are about to happen before they do and captures them flawlessly! I could go on all day, but seriously if you are looking for a photographer immediately hit that contact button. Photos last a lifetime, invest in these keepsakes that you’ll have to look back on and remember such an amazing day!!

nd knew exactly how much time was needed and kept us to a perfect timeline. They are the nicest, most down to earth people you will meet. They are easy going so you can be yourself, but also give you the perfect amount of direction for the best looks. We received multiple photos back within a week, and received all of our pictures within 3 weeks. I can not speak more highly of their service!

ntion she has the PERFECT eye for the most beautiful pictures. Her husband is saint for putting up with the groomsmen, and I cannot thank him enough either! I am not the person who takes a ton of pictures on a regular basis and generally think of myself as not very photogenic, but she made me feel extremely comfortable and so beautiful on our wedding day. She helped the day run so smoothly while capturing the most amazing photos and perfect moments between my husband and I. I truly cannot express how much I recommend her and would choose her a million times over. We feel so lucky to have had her capture our day.

ess. To top it off, Niki is the sweetest person!! I was so happy to have her near me on my wedding day. I am so grateful that we have our memories beautifully documented thanks to Niki!

O personable and sweet, and I never felt like I was bothering her when I contacted her about any questions I had! She was also kind enough to help me with my wedding timeline which was a huge help and took away a lot of stress. Niki has an eye for detail and captured our wedding day flawlessly. For both our engagement and wedding photos it was sleeting, freezing and windy and she made all of our photos look amazing! I felt like I gained a friend through the wedding planning process and on the day of the wedding, I felt like I had an extra maid of honor to help with anything needed. During the day Niki helped with my veil, fixed my hair and makeup. I felt like I had a best friend taking my photos. Niki is the best photographerout there and if you are looking for classic, timeless, and unique photos to last a lifetime, book her now! She was also very quick to get our final gallery back, which I greatly appreciated and posted sneak peaks the day after the wedding. Thank you, for everything Niki and Brad! Rob and I will forever be grateful for capturing our wedding day!

I didn’t even know about so as not to stress me out (like my husband spilling coffee on his tux!), and most importantly makes you feel so special. Her eye for shots is incredible, she answers communication promptly, and she’s reasonably priced (but I’d honestly pay double for her - she’s that amazing). Don’t even think twice, book her ASAP!

photographer, she was a friend the day of my wedding and listened to anything I wanted. My parents are beyond impressed with her professionalism as well as the quality of her photos. My advice to brides: Go with the best photographer in Detroit, go with Niki!!

apher, as well as our engagement photographer. Our wedding photos were on the top of my list that I had to have the best photographer as photos are forever and something very special to me. Niki is honestly so sweet as well as her husband Brad. They both make having your photos taken really effortless and enjoyable. During both the engagement photos and wedding photos they were making jokes, laughing with us, teaching us how to not cry, and overall just having so much fun with us. In terms of answering all of our questions (specifically mine), Niki was always quick to respond and always had great advice for photo locations, outfits, etc. I would email Niki constantly, even had a phone conference with her in terms of our wedding photos. A week leading up to our wedding the weather was looking like it could rain. Being a Bride I was freaking out, Niki was such a huge help and really eased my nerves. The weather ended up being absolutely perfect, a little rain in the morning and sunshine the rest of the day! Niki was prepared for anything and made sure no matter what, she would be able to get the perfect photos I wanted. I think what makes Niki so special is her attention to detail and how she will go above and beyond for her couples. My husband and I felt so comfortable with her. I truly cannot say enough great things about Niki, I really am at a loss for words she is THAT good. The best photographer ever, so good that I have already started planning our one year anniversary photos for her to take! In addition, Niki tells a story with the engagement photos and wedding photos which was super important to me. She captures EVERYTHING! Again, there are not enough words to describe how great of a photographer she is as well as a business woman. Love her! I will be forever grateful that Niki was our engagement/wedding photographer.

r wedding date around her availability! I’ll start by saying that my husband does not like having his picture taken, but having our engagement session with her really helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and learn her shooting style. Niki is the most easy going, thoughtful and kind individual and we thoroughly enjoyed the engagement session. My husband even said it wasn’t bad at all :) Leading up to the wedding, Niki was a huge help in the planning process for the timeline. She took time out of her insanely busy schedule to help build our timeline of events. The day of, she helped keep me calm when we were running a little behind, and I truly felt that I had a lifetime friend alongside me more than a wedding photographer. You can see the passion that she has for photography and the joy it brings her to get the perfect shot- not to mention the insanely Beautiful photos she takes! Within a week of our wedding, Niki Posted a blog of over 100 pictures from our wedding day!! Aside from The extremely fast turn around time, the pictures were AMAZING! Our family and friends could not stop talking about how beautiful the shots were! Brad, Niki’s husband, photographed the groom/groomsmen and his shots were phenomenal as well! We could not be more happy with our decision to go with Niki Marie Photography! Thank you, thank you!!!

fessional, pleasant, and helpful. I knew that the only thing I would have left at the end of something that I planned for so long and put so much hard work in to would be the pictures, and Niki did not disappoint. If you're looking for a photographer, this is the best you can get.

dreams a reality!!! She captured everything I wanted and MORE!!! I’m obsessed with how amazing our wedding photos look!!! I cannot thank you enough Niki, you’re the BEST!!! Highly, highly recommend her above anyone else!!!

had along the way, she made the planning process so easy for us. She also made the wedding day itself less stressful. We constantly knew we were in good hands and she was there if we needed anything at all, all while capturing gorgeous images. Our wedding day was very hot and humid and there were scattered rain showers throughout the day. When it started to rain, Niki didn’t panic. She spotted a little alcove where we took some of my favorite pictures of the day, while Brad ran to grab the umbrella we left inside our venue. They braved the rain and took some really beautiful shots of my husband and I under the umbrella walking around Detroit. We opted to not do a first look. Our friends and family tried to talk us into doing one because not doing so would give us such a short window for photos between the ceremony and reception. Niki never pressured us one way or the other. In the end, I’m glad we stuck to our guns and skipped the first look. Niki captured awesome pictures of my husband and I seeing each other for the first time as I walked down the aisle. We ended up having more than enough time because she was so efficient! Niki was so quick to think of new poses and gave great direction that made all of our photos look so natural. We never felt rushed either. We really enjoyed our time taking photos! And when it comes to the most important part, the actual photos you’ll be looking at for a lifetime, she is just unbelievably talented. Every single photo (and there were a TON of them) was gorgeous and they’re so timeless! When we got them back we were just blown away. My husband and I have never been ones to take awesome photos. I would not use the word photogenic to describe either of us. One of us always ends up looking goofy normally. Niki gave such wonderful direction and eased my anxiety in wondering how we looked. We looked so happy and natural in our photos (no awkward or goofy faces)! Her blog post with a bunch of our photos were posted while we were still on our honeymoon (she’s so quick)! We came home to so many messages from friends and family telling us how gorgeous they were. From beginning to end, Niki was incredible. If you’re hesitating booking with her, don’t. Just do it. You will not be disappointed.

ed them in every way possible! She made us feel extremely comfortable from the moment we met her, and her husband Brad was amazing to work with as well! On our wedding day, Niki captured everything from the smallest detail to the rawest emotion and everything in between. We have so many beautiful pictures that we'll cherish for a lifetime and truly couldn't be happier with how they turned out. We're so glad we chose Niki to capture our special day!

y. Every time I look at the images I find myself crying of happiness because the images take me back to those emotions. She had delivered all of these stunning images to us in less than a month after our wedding. Her work is perfection and she definitely listens to and accommodates all requests. It was pouring rain the morning of my wedding, but thankfully the rain had stopped after the ceremony and we were able to head outside for some group photos. Niki made sure I was comfortable to be outside in a few puddles and was always willing to help me with my dress and veil. She was so much fun to work with and I would HIGHLY recommend her to any newly engaged couple.

she was a dream to work with. Our wedding photos are an absolute dream, and we're so thankful we went with her.

espond, easily accessible, friendly, and had everything under control at every moment. Our engagement photos were so fun and she quickly alleviated our nerves of being in front of the camera, and she was so flexible when we wanted to do something a little different and take photos inside our favorite bookstore. I really appreciated how she was able to go with the flow and just make it feel like she was another one of the bridesmaids or attendees at the wedding having a great time, rather than a photographer. Niki (and her husband) captured our wedding day in the most beautiful way and I couldn't even believe that she had all of our wedding photos back to us before we even arrived home from our honeymoon--what a treat and so rare in the wedding photography industry. From Niki's amazing eye and talent for photography, to her sweet demeanor--I truly would trust her with anything! So thankful that a coworker recommended her as I can't imagine having used anyone else! Literally EVERYONE at the wedding who is getting married or knows someone getting married has asked for her name/contact info after looking for the photos--book ASAP!

at you might not know is how organized and hardworking she is. She makes everything SO easy, she knows where to take pictures, how to pose for them and how to do everything which is very comforting if you aren't familiar with posing for pictures (like me). She posts sneak peeks and posts very quickly. If she is available on your date book her immediately, she will go fast! Niki you are amazing, thank you for EVERYTHING in making my big day perfect :)

t four years ago and fell completely in love with her and her photos. I was hoping at the chance to contact her and I finally had a reason. After reaching out her, she immediately responded to set up a time to meet each other. I knew I wanted her to be part of our special day from that moment on. She was professional, down to earth, and just sweet. I felt like I knew her for years and years. Kenny and I were nervous about having someone take pictures of us...we didn’t know how to pose or what to do or say. At our engagement photo shoot, Niki made us feel beyond comfortable and made it so fun. We didn’t even feel like someone was taking pictures. It began to rain about half way through our photo shoot and we didn’t get a chance to change into our second outfit. Niki kindly suggested that we reschedule to do a sunrise, rooftop session, which was completely unexpected. The pictures were absolutely amazing. Niki just blew away all of our expectations for the big day. When I saw her walk through the door the morning of the wedding, I got teary eyed - I was relieved to see her and the moment of me getting married became so real. Niki is a complete gem. She is kind hearted, genuine, and is one heck of a photographer. She gets to know her brides and therefore knows how to capture the most perfect moments. I give Niki my highest recommendation. There truly aren’t enough words to describe Niki and how incredibly talented she is. We are so beyond thankful and grateful she was part of our special day. We will have these pictures forever…all because of Niki (and Brad of course!).

up time with her. Since the moment we met Niki at Atomic Coffee in Royal Oak, Dustin and I knew there was a connection. A few words to describe Niki and her husband are humble, down to earth, professional, and easy to work with. She made Dustin and I feel so comfortable the entire year leading up to our wedding and on the day of, it was like she wasn't even there, however ALL of our most special moments were captured and sent to us less than a month after our wedding (talk about SERVICE :)). As a bride I sometimes felt the pressure for everything to be "perfect" I never once felt like Niki was anything less than that. She also captures the important moments and humbles you as a couple reminding you of why you are doing this - love and family. The emotions she captures are truly timeless and we will be able to enjoy our photos for years to come. Niki - thank you for all your attention to detail, capturing all of our moments, your professionalism, and making not only Dustin and I feel comfortable but also both of our families! We cannot stop the influx of comments we received on how fabulous all of our photos are.

hotos were at the top of my list so I knew having Niki capture the most important day of our lives was a high priority when we were ready to start picking vendors. From our initial meeting, Niki was incredibly kind, easy to work with, great at communicating and clear about her services and work. She was readily accessible as we went through planning and was so helpful with answering timeline questions the week leading up to the wedding. Niki and Brad were phenomenal during the day of. They perfectly know how to capture special moments and didn’t leave any details out—big or small. The entire photo collection was absolutely stunning and more beautiful than I ever imagined! I’m SO happy that we were able to snag Niki when we did and I would recommend her to anyone who sees the value in having classic and stunning photos of their big day! <3

re commenting on how amazing they are. I simply tell them I had the very BEST photographer. Thank you, Niki and Brad!

ng. She captured moments that I will cherish forever! Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough, I would highly recommend Niki.

just that. The moments where the tears fell, the crazy laughs, the nerves... she delivered far beyond our expectations. Not only is she talented she is so joyful and her energy is contagious to have on your wedding day. She kept the day running smooth and effortless, she blended right in once the celebrations began. One of my bridesmaids has already reached out to Niki to shoot her wedding and I cannot wait to see Niki again, she truly adores her brides and I feel I made a genuine friend in her. Do not hesitate for one second, choosing her will be the best choice you could make for your special day, you will feel immediate trust as soon as you speak with her.

e was able to shoot MANY family portraits and romantic photos all in a small time frame that did not include a first look. Without her smooth transitions between photographs, the day would not have went nearly as easy. She has a great atmosphere about her that makes everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. We had many people tell us at the wedding that Niki was amazing because it is so evident just being near her working. I trusted her and she did not disappoint! If you are considering her, please book her right away! She is totally worth every penny. We love our photos and we love Niki!

he best photographs possible. She also considers the people she works with friends! We did an engagement shoot with Niki to get ourselves used to be in front of the camera. I highly recommend this because, I don't know about you, but I am not used to being in front of a camera. Prior to our wedding Niki asked us for all of the details about our special day so she could capture all of the little things that we wanted and also use her judgement on what would be best to capture. Niki and her husband, Brad, did a great job being everywhere they needed to be within the ceremony and into the reception. The pictures from our special day are absolutely amazing. I have had many guests and friends ask me about Niki because they are so impressed with how the pictures turned out. One of the main compliments and something I feel as well is that Niki really got all of the emotional moments in the day. I experienced a very wide range of emotions on my wedding day from crying of happiness to crying of laughter. We have pictures of all of these emotions and I am so grateful. I would highly recommend Niki to anyone who is looking for a photographer that wants to capture all the emotion and special moments in their wedding.
