Nick Weiss Music

dance floor was crowded all night, Nick did a great job reading the room and playing songs that got people up and dancing. Highly recommend hiring Nick for any event you are hosting!

the ceremony so everyone could hear. He is a great musician and it made the ceremony special to have him play the songs we wanted. During the reception he did an amazing job as announcer and DJ. He allowed us to send him a Spotify playlist of our favorite music for him to mix in. He got everyone out on the dance floor. He was amazing! I highly recommend him!!

itar playing during cocktail hour was the most perfect touch. We adored him!! He was so sweet too. Definitely set the tone for the best party ever. Thank you, Nick! Sorry the review is so late!

say enough great things about him. Not only is he a great guitar player and DJ, he was very patient as we navigated rescheduling our wedding for a year later due to COVID restrictions. He responded quickly and offers a wide variety of options - microphone, lighting, instruments, music choice, etc. We highly recommend reaching out to Nick to help create the best wedding and reception!

search because you have found all of that in Nick Weiss! My husband and I hired Nick to sing and play an acoustic music set for the farewell brunch during our wedding weekend in Palm Desert this fall, and we could not have been more thrilled with the experience! First, we decided fairly late in the planning process that it would be such a treat to have an acoustic singer for part of our wedding weekend, and Nick made himself readily available only 6 weeks before the event. He reached out to us for inspiration regarding the vibe we were hoping to achieve, and even requested that we send a list of songs we would like to hear during the event. I absolutely love music and sent a pretty ambitious list of favorites about a month before the big day. By day of the event, Nick had mastered every song we requested, and he included them all in our set! We were so impressed by this, as it really exemplified his obvious dedication to and love of his work. I also shared with Nick that one of the reasons we were initially drawn to working with him was the beautiful cover of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” he played on his website, which was my late mother’s favorite song. When he played that song at our event, my dad, siblings, and I all gathered around him and sang with him. This small gesture was such a special surprise for my family, because it was one more way in which we could include my mom in our wedding weekend, even though she couldn’t be there in person. Nick totally understood that and it made the experience even more memorable! Finally, Nick was also truly a joy to work with. He was hardworking, professional, kind, and easygoing, even staying longer than his original contract specified until the last guest had left. We were so incredibly happy to have Nick as part of our special weekend, and our guests have continued to compliment his work regularly in the months since the event. We can’t recommend working with Nick Weiss Music highly enough for your special day, and we feel confident that you will be just as happy with his exceptional work as we are!

r live music and a DJ, then I highly recommend Nick.

nable and kept the wedding fun and full of great music!

get in touch with and extremely friendly! He played live guitar during our ceremony with music of our choice as well as during cocktail hour! His style throughout our entire wedding was fun and upbeat and we got so many compliments on how great he was! Nick made our day amazing and memorable! He kept the dance floor full! We couldn’t imagine our wedding without him!

got back on track. And was able to adapt when there was a bit of a snafu at the beginning of the ceremony! Highly recommended :)

reat call with Nick and felt confident that he could meet my husband’s needs and not mess up my one request. Nick was fantastic. He played acoustic guitar before the ceremony and our requested songs during it, he played and sang during the cocktail hour, and became our DJ for the party. He was a great MC when needed and a great DJ all night. We provided specific song requests for key moments and talked with him about what we like. I appreciated that he did a great job of appropriate music selection with very little guidance from us (although I know he would have taken more specifics into account had we provided them). Thank you Nick!!!

n transitioned to being the DJ for the reception/dance party. He adapted to new situations and held down the evening with grace. I can't say enough good things about Nick and we were thrilled to have him at our wedding. If you're looking for one man to check all of your music boxes for your wedding, look no further than Nick Weiss!

and chatting with each other. Perfect for a California wedding.

ic, and only wished I could of recorded some of it. But as you know, weddings are stressful enough, but I cannot wait to hear you again for our 10 year. You made the wedding extra special, for the bride walk was amazing. My ceremony was so beautiful, and thanks to you mostly! I loved how you can do live, and turn to dj later. That is awesome!! Your music was so good, and flawless!! Thanks again Nick!! -Janine & Tyler Palmer

Hire him.

lso great and reading the room and knowing what the "bride" (me) needed- our first dance was a disaster because my husband was stepping all over my dress and Nick knew we felt uncomfortable so he faded the music out - which was perfect. Nick played great music and kept everyone on the dance floor, we were so happy with Nick. Not only is he great at his job but he is very affordable and has the option of playing live music as well- it was a great touch to our ceremony!

venue. We could not be happier with his service. Everything was spot on. The ceremony music was just what we wanted and cocktail hour had the perfect vibe. He is a very skilled and versatile musician. When we first met, Nick promised us that he could read the room and keep people dancing and excited, and boy did he deliver. He works best if you trust him to do his thing. Give him a "do not play" list and a list of must haves and let him do the rest. He will not disappoint- EVERYONE at our wedding enjoyed the music and had a great time, and we did have quite a mix of ages and generations.

e also lets you give him 3 song requests for the ceremony that he will learn for you. he was a great DJ/MC during the reception as well. he reviewed our playlist beforehand and played all of our top songs to keep the party going. thanks for making our day special and memorable!

r dinner dancing.

dn't overpower the reception, you didn't know he was there unless he was announcing something- he made everything go so smoothly and flawless!! Would recommend him to anyone who is considering live music, a DJ, or both at their wedding!

s the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts and "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz on guitar. He did a great job with all the songs. He also played prior to the ceremony starting. He continued on as the DJ. His music choice for the cocktail hour, dinner, then dancing were fantastic. We had given him our likes and dislikes and he adhered to them and chose a song list that was right on with our taste. There was new music for the kids as well as older music, a great mix overall. He kept the party going really well. He also provided uplights for the trees which looked great. His DJ table and appearance were very professional. We were really happy with Nick and would strongly recommend him in the future for acoustic guitar/ukulele and/or DJ.

o expect from him and what he needed from us. The day of the wedding he was excellent. Everything a bride and groom could want. He was early, set up and we didn't even know he was there until the music started playing. He played live music for my wedding and cocktail hour and then switched over to his DJ equipment. Our guests have been raving about his live music and we felt like it absolutely set the mood for the entire night. Nick is prompt, friendly and low key. He listened to what we wanted and delivered. I would highly recommend his services to anyone!

he picked on his own based on what he knew we liked. No further guidance was needed. He also handled 100% of our sound and microphones. Our ceremony was outside and by the water--a tough location for acoustics. Nick handled it no problem. He was also, in the best way, invisible. The sound was set up when people arrived, the music was already playing, the perfect tone was already set. Easy to work with, responsive on email, an expert at his craft. The whole package. Highly recommend.

e floor getting down. We would recommend him to anyone.

played a variety of instruments during our reception and then DJ'd us into the night! He transitioned easily from one venue to the next and accommodated a wide variety of musical tastes from mainstream to country. A true professional throughout the entire process - attentive, promt, courteous and reasonably priced to boot! We definitely lucked out finding Nick. My husband and I could not have found a better person to provide the oh-so-crucial soundtrack for our special day!
