They managed the music from the ceremony to the reception. During the reception, they matched the music with the energy of the crowd and had our guests ranging from 25 to 78 years old on the dance floor. It’s a moment I’ll never forget. David was also so great at announcing moments throughout the day, like our formal couple introduction, the first dance, the start of the dinner service, and the last call. I’d also like to spotlight David’s attention to detail leading up to the event. We met with him months before over a video call and he was so helpful in providing me questions to ask the venues about their audio requirements or limitations so that he could come prepared and adjust his set up as needed. He was also incredibly communicative throughout the process, which is something I deeply appreciated as a bride who was planning a destination wedding. When I look back on our wedding day, I still think about the music and all the prep that the team did to make it feel personal, fun, and flawless from start to finish. We had David as our DJ for our wedding at Margaret Place, and I truly cannot recommend him enough. From the very beginning, he was incredibly responsive and accommodating. I’m very particular about music, so I created multiple different playlists for different parts of the reception including cocktail hour, dinner, special dances, and the party portion. David handled all of it flawlessly. He played my playlists exactly how I envisioned while still adding his own creative flares at the perfect moments to keep the energy up. One thing I especially appreciated was how well he handled our ceremony music. Some of our songs were pulled from YouTube, and he cued them perfectly. Every entrance and transition hit exactly when it was supposed to, which made such a difference in those emotional moments. During the reception, I was able to text him in real time to let him know when we were about to come out, when to skip songs, or when to pivot the vibe a bit, and he adjusted immediately. That level of communication made everything feel seamless and stress free. He also did not take any song requests unless they were approved by me first, which I thought was such a thoughtful and professional touch. On top of all that, David had played at Margaret Place before, so he already knew how to work with their system and was familiar with Kathleen and the team. That experience showed and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Overall, he was awesome to work with, kept the dance floor going, and honestly feels more like a new DJ friend now.
