About this vendor
I love life and the stories that make up our life and I love for the photographs I take to tell those stories. The way a bride embraces her new husband. The way a father strongly hugs his daughter after walking her down the aisle. The way a groom lovingly dances with his wife. These are the moments.

We were so privileged to have Nellie and her assistant photograph our daughter and son in law's wedding this past year. From our initial meeting until the delivery of the finished...
product, she was professional and full of knowledge and energy. She had great suggestions for the best way to capture the photos the kids felt were most important. Her vast experience as a wedding photographer really was invaluable in assisting us with the "day of "timeline. Nellie is so very gifted in her ability to capture people in the most beautiful way.....We could not imagine trusting our most valuable family keepsakes with anyone else.
Nellie was an amazing photographer for our wedding. She also brought a 2nd photographer, TJ, that did amazing capturing my husband getting ready with his groomsman. My husband and ...
I love looking at the 1500 photos that Nellie captured of our wedding day! Nellie also picked the perfect location for our fall wedding and we have the best fall foliage as the background for our outdoor photos. Thank you again for being the best wedding photographer to capture one of the most important days of our life!
There is truly no one better than Nellie!! Not only is her work beautiful - capturing perfectly the feelings in each moment - but she has been a JOY to work with each time she has...
taken photographs for an important event in our lives including two of our daughters' weddings!! She is such a professional, effortlessly taking charge by putting everyone at ease and making sure to capture all the emotion of each moment. The true magic of her photography is being able to perfectly reflect the mood of the day and most importantly the personality of the bride and groom. The wedding albums are AMAZING!! Nellie made us all feel so special and we always love having her with us - she is truly family! With complete confidence, I highly recommend Nellie!!
My family has had Nellie Photography shoot several events over the years - most recently my wedding - and we are consistently impressed with how she so naturally captures important...
moments. Nellie is incredibly brilliant and we love how she was able to create visual memories of the elegant simplicity we hoped our wedding day would be. Her energy is contagious and she knows how to make you feel comfortable in front of her lens.
The minute you begin working with Nellie you will probably feel like you have known her for years. She is easy to get along with and completely accessible during the planning process. If you have an opportunity to work with her, I would enthusiastically recommend you do!
Nellie did our engagement photos in Chicago and our wedding photos in Peoria. Although she lives in Peoria, she was happy and excited to come to Chicago to do our engagement photos...
. Not only is Nellie an amazingly talented photographer, she's also incredibly easy to work with. When choosing a photographer it is important to keep in mind that this person will be with you while you get ready and for most of the day. Nellie is the kind of person you love having around! She is easy to talk to, patient yet assertive (if necessary), and incredibly kind.
Also, four of my close friends have used Nellie for their wedding photos. Many people asked if I was concerned that my wedding photos would look just like theirs. I was not at all concerned. Nellie goes out of her way to make sure each wedding is different. She is constantly coming up with new ideas and places to shoot. I highly recommend Nellie and her assistant photographer TJ!
