s as we navigated this coronavirus craziness. We had to reschedule and she was so accommodating. From the moment we met Jill, we knew she’d be the perfect fit for us. She has such a friendly personality and that was so important for us on our big day. As our day approached she was super responsive and very reassuring as I feared rain might be in the forecast. She had a backup plan and told us not to worry at all - and we didn’t. The day ended up being perfect weather afterall. The day of, Jill arrived early and again fit right in like an old friend as she took pictures of us getting ready. She was wonderful! She had the best ideas for photos and went above and beyond every step of the way. She even cleaned down one of my mirrors to make it perfect for the photo and helped me find all 10+ pins that were in my dress. She kept us all so giggly and happy with her funny jokes and great sense of humor during photos. We all felt so at ease. She was so accommodating to what we were looking for out of photos and captured some amazing moments. She even came up with a creative idea to use sparklers in a photo on our July 4th wedding! We are in love with our photos and will cherish them forever! Thank you Jill! You were amazing. We couldn’t ask for a better person to capture our special day! Love, Ashley and Evan

She stopped at nothing to get the perfect shot and made all our guests laugh! Jill was able to capture the best moments of the wedding that we will now be able to look back on. Our pictures were ready just 2 weeks after our wedding which was amazing! Neilson Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding and we would highly recommend her!

Our ceremony and reception were outside, with temperatures reaching 100 degrees and Jill was so helpful in keeping everyone moving throughout the formal pictures so that we weren’t all sweating for too long! My husband and I both commented that during the reception we forgot she was there sometimes as even though she was taking numerous shots, she was never in the way. It is clear to see that Jill loves what she does and I would highly recommend working with her.

She was unobtrusive when capturing candids, and did a great job organizing us for formal shots - even when managing our large extended family. She took care of all of the important shots we had previously planned, but also was happy to accommodate requests made on the fly. When weather complicated our plans, she was flexible and helpful in problem-solving and adapting. We really appreciated Jill's approach - her calm, pleasant demeanor is a great fit for what we hear can be a stressful day!

as meant to be there. It felt natural and not nearly as awkward as I imagined it to be, (ya know, while someone you don't know has a camera in your face?) Lol! Jill made it feel fun and I can't express my gratitude towards her help on my big day. There were a few things that didn't go as planned (like with my caterer) and Jill was there to not only help calm me down, but help fill in gaps and solve problems, even though that's not what we hired her for. nd also the more quiet moments. When we look back on our wedding, we are so grateful to Jill for her ability to get shots we didn’t know we even wanted (that became our favorites)! She also did an excellent job editing and choosing which pictures would look best in different finishes (b&w, sepia, etc.) We liked Jill so much, we had her take family photos a couple years later. Her laid back, friendly personality makes her easy to work with!
