About this vendor
Founded by Natalie Durham in 2009 to meet the needs of couples she saw was lacking in the industry. Natalie Durham Events is a full-service wedding planning and floral design company based in Canton, GA. Natalie’s passion for floral design started at a young age when her mother dropped her off at the local florist after school. Since then, she has been mentored by several master florists who showed her the ropes. But it was only after she planned her own wedding that she started to see the needs that newlyweds faced when it came to customer service and supportive vendors. Thus, the company was born as a way to bridge the gap.

To say I was impressed with Natalie would be an understatement. We booked with her a year and a couple of months before our wedding, and she was there from day 1. She was always ve...
ry quick to respond to me and answer any questions I might have. The first time we met her, we were just blown away. She left such a good impression on us, and we knew we would be in good hands.
A couple of days before our wedding, we knew there was a hurricane coming and that the weather could affect our wedding. She reassured me, and I knew everything would be taken care of. Come the wedding day, we literally felt like VIPs. Natalie is so kind, and we just felt so taken care of. The day was PERFECT and went so smoothly. She took care of literally everything.
My flowers were everything I had ever dreamed of. I mean, seriously- the flowers were stunning!!!!! She is so talented and truly brought my dreams to life. I could not have asked for better!
Natalie Durham Events BRINGS THE MAGIC!
You can be confident that NDE will EXCEED your expectations in floral artistry, tasteful beauty, organization, and hospitable execution of a...
magical wedding day. At our initial visit to the Venue at Sharp Mountain, my daughter (Bride to be) and I were spellbound by the venue, but also the endearing, enthusiastic, professional approach Natalie Durham (Artistic Florist and Planner/Director) uses to capture the Bride’s wishes and deliver her dreams!
The bride had a vision from pictures and videos with elegant flower choices, gorgeous floral designs, and a magnificent head table from a previous wedding - that were beyond our budget. To achieve our vision, Natalie put design emphasizes on our focal point with two extraordinary arrangements surrounding the cross and repurposing our bridesmaids’ bouquets and ceremony florals to adorn a sweetheart table between the gorgeous focal point arrangements for the reception. IT WAS STUNNING.
I’m so grateful that my daughter and I were able to feel completely present in every meaningful moment of the celebration, and trust the details to NDE. Before the ceremony, I was amazed as Natalie’s team, the Venue staff, and Chef Cary’s cuisine meticulously and hospitably worked, seamlessly, together to transform the Venue into our wedding chapel and stage it, behind 40’ sheer white drapes, for a fantastic reception. Our wedding was complex with 234 guests, 11 bridesmaids, 11 groomsmen, two large extended families, indoor ceremony seating 250, outdoor patio cocktail hour (Tiny Hiney beverage burrows), and then transform the venue into an indoor (26 table) dinner reception and fantastic fun dance floor. Natalie’s assistant, Mady, served the bride and groom like royalty, and patiently handled any needs and questions from our extended family,
I feel that Natalie’s many talents (artistic floral design, organization, leadership, listening, logistics, and perfect execution) are her ministry she shares with couples and families. She will genuinely pour herself into the couple, and execute your beautiful and elegant wedding celebration, as if unto the Lord. I’m so grateful for our magical day and still enjoying the glow!

all of our planning had to happen remotely. Even so, she made me feel completely at ease. She is incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and clearly knows exactly what she is doing. Our scheduled phone calls were always so helpful, and she kept me on track with what needed to be done next.

The florals were gorgeous and the bouquets were made with so much care and attention to detail. moments of our wedding, this woman made us feel like we were the only couple she was focused on. She communicated frequently, she set up regular check-in calls, she gave us helpful feedback, and she ensured that all our vendors worked as one. She was so fantastic to work with and I know there are SO MANY other couples out there that feel the exact same way. Do not even hesitate; book her now!!

credibly talented but also so kind, calm, and attentive throughout the entire planning process. Even when we had to move our ceremony indoors due to rain, she was able to make everything so beautiful that it felt just as stunning as our original outdoor plan—if not even better.
The floral design was stunning. She added peonies and bright florals that looked just like my Pinterest board, and every arrangement was so beautiful. It was truly breathtaking, and so many of our guests commented afterward about how stunning the flowers were!

shared my excitement with me from day one. She wasn’t just my florist and coordinator, but a friend that shared my vision and was committed to bringing it to life! Truly the worst part of this process is that it is now over. Mainly because any planning session with Natalie, she always brought such joy and was a consistent light. Her and her team made the day so smooth; I even had multiple bridesmaids ask if they could hire her or vocalize they wish they had her on their wedding day. I would choose her one thousand times again! Our day was truly the most beautiful day, and exceeded every vision I had by a million. I can never thank her enough! 🤍

Natalie is a hard worker and incredibly kind (but can really command a room when you need her!). I had so many guests come up to me during and since our wedding to mention that the flowers were STUNNING and our wedding planner was awesome. 10/10 would recommend working with Natalie Durham Events for your wedding planning (the Venue at Sharp Mountain, specifically) and your floral needs! You will leave not only content but THRILLED!
Our wedding day at the Venue at Sharp Mountain was nothing short of perfection, thanks to Natalie and her team!
Natalie is very knowledgeable about the wedding planning process, ...
and was a huge help when it came to figuring out all our details. She provided us a list of vendors she recommended, which made the hunt so much easier. The best part was that the people we picked from her list were not only fantastic at their job, but were truly the nicest people to work with. I could see us hiring many of them again in the future!
Natalie was a great sounding board for my crazy ideas and was willing to support any wild projects I came up with - she also had very practical advice to help with my decision making. She has a very structured approach, which I appreciated because there are so many moving parts when planning a wedding. She kept me sane through the last couple months and the day-of was absolutely stress free.
Natalie also provided our flowers for the wedding which were stunning, and I’m preserving as many arrangements as I can. Our big day was a dream come true and we are so appreciative of Natalie and the NDE team!

tive and made me feel so comfortable when discussing my wedding vision and ideas. Natalie had a million ideas of her own that I could have never dreamed of that really made my wedding day stand out! She was very timely about answering any questions I had, as well as making sure I was doing my end of planning as well, to keep the planning process smooth. Our phone calls were very concise but also helpful for someone like me who is not as decisive and attentive to detail. Natalie gave me plenty of freedom to propose ideas of my own while also transforming my ideas into something more extravagant. Of course I am biased because it was my own wedding, but when I say that I truly believe my wedding day was the smoothest, most beautiful, detail oriented…. I truly mean it. All of my guests were enamored with Natalie’s beautiful floral design, as was I. I gave Natalie a few floral photos for a vague idea and she took them and created florals I never could have dreamt of! The day of the wedding I felt so at ease knowing Natalie had thoroughly prepared and planned out every step of the day, so I didn’t have to worry about any of it. My family also felt that her team was imperative to making us feel right at home and that we could just enjoy the evening and let them keep the night on track. I wish I could describe how much I love Natalie and her team for all their help, because they truly made my day perfect. They will make sure you are heard, your opinions are valued, give you honest constructive feedback, guide you in decision making, transform your ideas into something bigger, and make the most incredible florals you have ever seen. I wish I could do it all over again! Thank you to Natalie and her team for all the kindness and support through out my planning. I cannot recommend them enough!

to the gorgeous venue that my gut told me “this is the venue I’m going to get married at.” I cannot get over the stunning venue with the windows and the mountain views. The venue is truly breathtaking. Natalie (wedding planner/florist) was very organized and helped the process go as smoothly as possible and had a preferred vendor list that was so so helpful.
I had several people tell me that something is bound to go wrong on your wedding day and I can honestly say that Matthew’s and I’s Wedding Day was absolutely PERFECT!!!
Natalie, thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart for making my Wedding dream and vision come true! Matthew and I truly cannot think of one thing that went wrong on our Wedding Day (other than it flying by too quickly). Everything was absolutely PERFECT!!! 😍 we felt like everything went so smoothly and seamlessly. You out did yourself with the Flowers and I truly loved them SO SO much — absolutely beautiful and stunning!!! 🌹🌷 Thank you for working so extra hard on them to make me SMILE! If there are any hiccups along the road, Natalie was quick to come up with a solution while remaining so calm and collected and took away any worry.
The entire staff (including having the owner’s present - Sheryl and David) was amazing and sooo sweet and attentive to us the entire night. The preferred vendors were truly amazing! Everyone commented and complimented the food (Chef Cary) — so so delicious. Delicious cake!!
Amberly and Sunday captured our day beautifully and were SO sweet and worked seamlessly together. The drinks from ShakeUpAtl were a hit along with the Stop the Times Photobooth.
I highly recommend The Venue at Sharp Mountain!!
Again,
Thank you and the entire team SO MUCH!

look with the most beautiful arrangements we could ask for! She goes above and beyond with communication and she is also the planner of the venue we had our wedding at and helped so much in the planning process as well. Natalie was scheduled to be off on our wedding day and when one of her team members had an emergency, she filled in to make sure everything was perfect! You could not ask for a better and more dedicated team!
I have so much to say about this incredible woman and her team. From the beginning to the end of my wedding planning Natalie was present, even if she had three weddings the week I ...
"really needed her". I knew from the beginning of wedding planning that I wanted to put my creativity and personality into flowers/table scape design. Natalie thoughtfully and patiently was my voice of reason and the dreamer with me to make it all happen. She has experience with all types of flower design, the sky is the limit when planning with her. I envisioned branches/moss/types of flowers that are not as easy to access (especially as last minute as I wanted them) and she found unique, local vendors within one day of this change. I had no concerns going into the day of my wedding, I completely trusted that Natalie would be able to juggle the rehearsal, arrival & management of the vendors, the flower/table scape set up and general day of fiascos that can happen without notice and she did just that! The level of compassion that Natalie has for her brides and the people she works with in this industry is unmatched. She has great relationships will all of her vendors and local flower farmers and she took care of me the day of my wedding so naturally. I felt like she was a part of our family the months leading up to the wedding and especially on the day of. I am so thankful for who she is and what she continues to do!
