MyMoon Restaurant + Venues

Lee and MyMoon handled our wedding and created the best night of our lives (and apparently as we heard, the best night of a few other people's lives as well). From their care, to the food, the atmosphere, the attentiveness, the staff, and the love, we knew from the beginning working with Lee and MyMoon would be something special, but we had no idea it would be like this! Every single guest raved about Lee, the MyMoon team, the food, and the experience. We felt like we were able to just trust that everything was being taken care of and truly immerse ourselves in our day. When we were looking for a venue, every other manager we met before Lee made us feel like we were just another dollar, just another client. They were polite and professional, and I'm sure that would have been fine. Once we met Lee, we knew we couldn't settle for less. He saw us as people first, clients second. Eating at MyMoon and having any special event, especially as stressful as a wedding at MyMoon will make your day feel beyond words and with ease. The experience they created will have you and every guest gushing for years to come. We cannot wait to come back to eat here for every anniversary! Book them immediately!

MyMoon was the first venue we looked at for our wedding & we quickly realized it checked every box & more. Gorgeous ambiance, a separate deck for a ceremony, delicious food & an incredible staff to top it off. Location was a big priority for us, & MyMoon offers convenience of location without sacrificing on venue space or wedding size. With just under 140 guests, the venue was a perfect space. The ceremony deck comfortably fit everyone, & when we migrated to the main room, there was plenty of space to dance & guests had the ability to mingle in the outdoor courtyard as well as the side room. Off the bat, Lee was exactly what we needed. We perhaps came in a little underprepared, and Lee was kind, direct & extremely knowledgeable when it came to understanding our needs. After hearing our rough sketch of a vision, he suggested a Cocktail-style reception, where we would not have a traditional sit-down meal, but rather a charcuterie table, passed hors d’oeuvres, paella boats & desserts served over the course of a few hours. We elected to add some additional late-night bites & had an outside baker bring a 2-tier cake & 150 cake cups, & with those additions, it felt like a sufficient amount of food. With the premium cocktail package, we weren’t limited to a select number of cocktails. Guests were able to order from the full restaurant cocktail menu & could also order drinks of their choice. We do think the bar could have used 1 additional bartender during peak service hours, as the line did get a little long, but to an extent that is to be expected at any wedding. One thing worth mentioning: the food is GREAT. We knew in the early stages of planning that we wanted actually good food, & what better place to do that than an actual restaurant! We live nearby, so over the many months between committing to MyMoon & the eventual wedding day, we stopped by a handful of times to enjoy the space & the delicious food. Special shoutout to the GM, Rajiv, &- our waiter, Michele, who made us feel so taken care of every time we popped in for dinner. Lee has turned weddings at MyMoon into a well-oiled machine. Communication was top-notch & Lee was always one step ahead of us when it came to questions or concerns. While you can hire an outside coordinator, we elected to rely on Lee, & our wedding day went off without a hitch. He created a schedule for the night for us & helped us abide by it while we were being pulled 50 different ways. Lee also has a Rolodex of wonderful vendors that work consistently with MyMoon, & we took advantage of 2 preferred vendors, florals by Nectar&Bloom & dessert by WildFlour (both 10/10!). We hired a DJ for the evening (@jason_v_babes), & they had no trouble connecting to the in-house system. We were also fortunate to have great weather on the day & were able to take advantage of the recently renovated, lush outdoor courtyard, which was a perfect second space for those who needed a break from the music & dancing in the main room. Overall, we were so happy with how the evening turned out. Despite this being the first & only venue we saw, never along the way did we have any doubts or second-guesses about our choice to celebrate at MyMoon. So many of our guests were shocked to learn about the space, which is so beautifully tucked away in the heart of Williamsburg, & we received high praises about the space, food, and service. We look forward to going back to MyMoon many times in the future, and can’t thank Lee and the staff enough!
