On our wedding day, the cake she crafted was nothing short of a masterpiece. Denise was so attentive and took so much time out of her busy schedule to speak with us, show us all of the wedding cakes she has created in the past, and to design a cake for our special day. There are so many flavors and fillings to choose from and each one gets better than the next. It was really hard to choose from, but we ended up choosing French crumb cake with chai marscapone filling, French crumb cake with vanilla buttercream & dulce du leche, and olive oil cranberry & orange cake with citrus liquor buttercream filling-- so delicious! Denise loves what she does and it truly shows!! My cake was absolutely stunning, tasted amazing, and uniquely designed for my husband and I. I cannot recommend Denise enough-- My Daughter's Cakes is an absolute must for your wedding day.

Denise is not only a trained professional but she takes so much pride in her work and takes the time to understand exactly what you are looking for. Considering we were booking with her during a pandemic, she pre-packaged a large box of cakes and fillings for us to take home and enjoy - this was one of my favorite wedding planning activities to do with my wife. We made it a rating game until we decided on the flavors we ultimately used for our wedding cake. We can’t thank her enough for baking and designing the cake of our dreams. It not only looked incredible, but it tasted just as good!

At the cake tasting, we were welcomed with champagne and various samples of yummy cakes and fillings. She took the time to go through with us so many different designs and ideas for the cake. We really didn’t have anything set in our mind about how we wanted the cake to look, but she made fabulous recommendations and even made us a little hot air balloon as a topper! Our guests raved about the cakes look and taste, many posting pictures on Facebook with captions like “OMG LOOK AT THIS CAKE!” we even had some left over cake and our family & friends were fighting over trying to get some ;) Denise confirmed everything with us and reached out to our venue prior to the wedding to do all confirmations with them. We highly recommend Denise & My Daughter’s Cakes!!! Now time to count down until our 1 year anniversary so we can devour our top layer :)

We enjoyed her cakes so much, we got two flavors for our wedding and an additional cake for our family Welcome BBQ. For the BBQ, we went with her scrumptious carrot cake and for our wedding cake we did a chocolate cake with cookies and cream and the second flavor was almond with a pretzel, caramel marzipan filling. WOWZERS!!!! We went with her EXQUISITE, realistic sugar flowers over having our florist provide them. Everyone was SHOCKED they were not real. Her ability to recreate peonies (my favorite flower) as an exact replica is something to truly behold! Just amazing!!!! We no longer want any other cakes, she will always do our cakes going forward from birthdays, holidays to special occasions. We are customers for life now!

The day of the wedding I didn't even have to worry about a thing- I had full faith that Denise and her team would have the cake beautifully delivered. Sure enough, the cake was gorgeous and really caught your attention once you walked into the reception. And it was delicious!! Even my father in law (who doesn't like sweets) had 2 pieces. We highly recommend!!

f, was truly one of kind. She cares and really wants it to be as special as you do. She not only made the most beautiful cake I've ever seen, she also made so many custom yummy treats that got rave reviews at the wedding! Any request I had - she answered with a yes and an improvement. She balanced the many cake parfaits we absolutely had to have, made mini pies that were to die for, and came up with creative solutions to make sure I got my much needed ice cream sandwiches (which are obviously a logistic nightmare for an outdoor wedding). :D She's an artist and made this control freak bride one very happy customer for life!!

Hugely talented. Denise is a rare cake artist. Her piping is extraordinary. HER SUGAR FLOWERS: SUGAR? REALLY? NOT REAL? Amazing sugar flowers. She really got my vision and made a fantasy cake. My Daughter's Cakes was one of the reasons my wedding reception was PERFECT. Thank you, Denise! LOVELY AND YUMMY!!!
