Music Now was fantastic! John our DJ was an excellent MC and took care of the ceremony microphones and musicians needs. He added fun and the perfect amount of structure. One minor ...
glitch, he did not play a requested song which was a family tradition (but to be fair, we didn't remember until the reception was over).
A bit expensive but worth it. Great music, very professional, and fun. Called me to check in on music and of any changes. For a last minute purchase, they were/ are worth it.
They played a great selection and helped move the wedding along. Was a little disappointed they couldn't make some last minute requests.
Years of experience, really professional and did a great job.
Music Now was recommended by my venue. They were very professional and easy to work with. They needed minimal direction to get the job done. They were fairly inexpensive for the qu...
ality of service we received.
Jack was so easy to work with and was so good at the wedding! He is great at reading a crowd and changing things up to fit the situation. He kept things running smoothly and was a...
lot of fun.
We used Music Now DJ for our wedding in mid November. We were so pleased with the service and variety of music that Jack offered. If you want a good DJ that knows how to read your ...
crowd and will keep the night going....choose Music Now DJ for your event!
From the first phone call until the last, I dealt with the owner, Jack. He even ended up doing my wedding. I highly recommend him and his company! Thanks Jack!

ou sappy women out there this short story might help you being the deciding factor on choosing this company: My dad suddenly passed away 3 weeks before the wedding, once I explained this to Jack (because I was late getting my paperwork back to him), he told me not to worry about a thing and that he would be the one to DJ at my wedding. He said he wanted to make sure it all went as beautifully as planned!!! Such a great company and so is Jack!
I met with Jack twice, once to meet him, and once to go over the details. He was very personable, and got a feel for what kind of music that I wanted at the wedding. His personalit...
y at the wedding was very fun, and he definitely read the guests. It turns out the the first wedding that Jack and Music Now DJ'ed for was my Aunt and Uncle's wedding, so it was fun to learn that and to tie into family.
Overall, fun and did what I asked for.
leading up to the wedding, our DJ was confident and ensured us that she could do many things to make our day extra special. She let us pick a song to be introduced to, a song for o...
ur bridal party to enter the reception to, she was to announce table names for our buffet style dinner and she had special instructions about certain dedication songs and announcements.
Then, at the reception, she had trouble getting her microphone to work because she arrived late and had no time to get ready. She was unable to deliver on almost all she said she would do. The music was terribly quiet for the entire reception.
The guests were great. They got right up to the speakers so they could actually hear, and they danced the night away anyway.
This DJ company is inexpensive for the area, but I would not recommend using them to anyone I know.
I was so excited to have music now do my Dj service. The owner made me feel like they were going to come in and feel the crowed and make sure everything went smoothly. They didn'...
t play the music we requested except for out main songs. They microphone cut out during toasts so people didn't toast they emailed me instead. The music was too loud.. YIKES
After having to program my own IPOD because they didn't have the music I requested (annoying when your a busy bride) the DJ and owner dropped out of dj'ing our wedding a week befor...
e the big night and he gave us his "number 1" employee as his replacement...which meant everything I had explained to the owner I now had to discuss with the new guy...who didn't have time to talk to me so we had to reschedule when he had time (again annoying when your busy a week before your wedding). I had made a list of music for every section of the wedding, from pre-ceremony seating music, down the aisle, reception, dinner, dancing into the night music which was also all programmed into the IPOD in different playlists...I also had a list of DO NOT PLAY music the classic cheesey wedding stuff from the bunny hop/macarena/chicken dance/we are family etc. Hard to screw up right? He managed to play polka...music I didn't list...from 1950's stuff to random stuff I have never heard of. They were reluctant to customize the music I chose because they found it difficult to acculmulate all the music when they boasted a huge a library....so I did all the work myself and was still disappointed!
Music Now is the best in Santa Cruz County. Yes, they are a little high in price...HOWEVER, you get what you pay for and that is quality service through and through. Jack listened ...
to what I wanted and didn't want (I have been to some weddings were the DJ thinks it is his party or is awkward and narrates every move of the bride and groom.) Not music now. He was on time and ready to go. It was wonderful. Music Now is worth every penny. The music was great every song. Not one song came on that I thought.."What the heck?" Every song was a good one.
You won't be disappointed!!
Our Dj was recommended to us by my husband's step mother, they have used them many times for different fundraiers. I was extremly happy with them, we were able to meet with both th...
