eremony being the Charles river and Boston skyline was a dream come true. Everyone had an incredible time and commented on how beautiful the venue was. Sheryl with the museum of science is a true god send. She planned everything perfectly, no need for having a separate day of coordinator as they take care of everything for you, to the level of having someone discreetly follow you around and make sure you are fed and have drinks and everything you need throughout the night! Sheryl thank you for being so incredible, taking care of our every need, and putting up with my gallion questions. It was a literally the best day and you made it happen!!!! 

racter word limit of this review box gushing about the Museum of Science, their staff, and how they helped us pull off an unforgettable and literally flawless evening for our wedding. They let us build and helped us place a dino-sized flower crown on their T. rex, for crying out loud. (I'm mentioning this at the top so you, the reader, don't miss it. This is how amazing they are.) We reached out to the Museum 8 months in advance of our wedding date, and quickly learned that Sheryl, who has run events for the MoS for 30 years, is a force of nature who is kind and unfazed by literally any question we could throw at her. Our event was a bit unorthodox: we bypassed a wedding ceremony, and focused on a "night at the museum" themed reception filling the Blue Wing. We also (in our own style) chose a more DIY approach to centerpieces, signage, and event planning. None of this deterred the Museum, Sheryl, or their incredible and highly competent staff. I will be honest—given how many things we asked them to set up and put in places and arrange and prepare in the limited window between museum close (5PM) and event start (6PM), I was expected a best effort, and had asked several close friends to prepare to run around and tidy up whatever the Museum staff couldn't finish in the short time. So please believe and understand me when I say I was properly gobsmacked to walk into the Blue Wing as our event started and saw literally 100% of everything we asked for arranged and set up *perfectly*. The staff were attentive in the months leading up to our event and night-of: they answered our questions promptly and thoroughly, with a smile and that tinge of mischievous energy we needed to match the whimsy we wanted in a science museum wedding. We were certainly not experts in what we wanted or what was possible when we started this process, but between Sheryl's incredibly helpful Wedding Homework doc (which covered everything we couldn't remember) and our assorted followups, we developed a clear and exciting vision for what the event could be. The MoS event staff being fully in-house, they know their venue and space and limitations and vendors to a degree which isn't otherwise possible. For instance, we took wedding photos out on the Washburn Pavilion behind the Museum, and the Museum staff built a daisy chain of chaperones to ensure our various gaggles of family members made it from the Museum Lobby to the Pavilion quickly and efficiently. They also appeared with water and chairs for photo shoot guests before anyone could even ask. Every couple has high hopes and dreams for what their wedding can or could look like. We had seen photos of the Museum all decked out for weddings and parties on their Instagram, but neither of us had truly let ourselves believe that it could have gone quite *this* well. Over a week later, our guests are still reaching out to tell us about the venue, the staff, and asking if we'd be willing to throw an anniversary party in the Blue Wing, say, five years from now. Given how this wedding went, we're certainly considering it. Hope to see you in 2030—and if you still have it, please prepare the flower crown again for the T. rex.

and Sheryl for much of the planning process and we were impressed with their attention to detail and level of responsiveness in the ~16 months between booking the venue and the event itself. Sheryl especially took care of all the coordination with the various vendors, which was very appreciated in the weeks leading up to the event. In addition, they were able to work with us to figure out our floor plan and table arrangements for the reception, which required some clever table combinations to suit the number of guests that we had at each table. Sheryl arranged for a dance floor to be set up in the pavilion, and even helped us find easels for some artwork that we wanted to have on display during the wedding. The pavilion is a space that really requires little more in way of decoration; it is simply beautiful in and of itself, and the river views were amazing as we timed our ceremony and cocktail hour with golden hour and the sunset. Though we were wary about the weather, we got lucky that our big day was unseasonably warm - a relief especially since we eschewed renting heaters, which was quoted to be ~5k.
