Honestly, the best cake I ever had. Everybody told me wedding cakes look pretty but don't taste good and they were wrong. If I lived in the area, I would order all of my cakes from...
her. She is an absolute pleasure and you won't find a better cake. I don't know much about the wedding cake market, but I thought the price was more than reasonable. I really can't say enough good things about the experienceor my wedding cake. Really, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I'm already planning to spend our anniversary there every year just so we can order a cake. To be clear, my husband is 100% on board. You know the moment when you're trying on wedding dresses and you just know "this is the one"? He had that exact look when he taste tested the cake. He doesn't really like cake. We got the strawberry by the way. It's the best decision you can make. You might regret your husband, but you will not regret the cake.
The cake was beautiful, and both flavors we had were amazing! We got so many complements on the cake, even from other vendors! We had 1/2 strawberry vanilla, and 1/2 lemon blueberr...
y. Maria kept the anniversary layer separate from the rest of the cake so that made saving really easy.
After meeting Maria and her husband at a wedding expo and tasting her amazing cakes, we knew she was the one! Everything she makes was delicious! She was wonderful to work with!
We could not have been happier with Maria!! Our cake was absolutely beautiful and more importantly delicious!! I highly recommend Mrs. Vingerber’s Sweets - everything was delivered...
as promised and her services are very high quality.
Our cake was beautiful and delicious. Maria takes pride and care with her cakes. I swear she adds a touch of love. thank you
Our cake was as beautiful as it was delicious! We saved the top portion of our cake, but it was so good, we ate it the next day. Maria was able to take our loose vision and turn it...
into the perfect cake. We'll definitely be coming back for a NEW cake for our anniversary.
Mrs. Vingerber's sweets was such a joy to work with for my wedding. I met with Maria the first time, and she provided my fiance and I with a tasting of her almond cake with raspber...
ry filling (yum!). She continued to provide tastings of all different flavors every time we came into town, including hummingbird, vanilla, and chocolate! We ended up deciding on a lemon cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream for the wedding cake, plus a caramel cake with caramel icing for the groom's cake. The caramel cake disappeared fast, and all that remained of the wedding cake is our first anniversary top piece! She prices by the slice, so it made no difference if we did four mini cakes in four flavors or one giant cake! She also made a hummingbird cake for my bridesmaids luncheon, and took care of adding the traditional cake pull charms I provided for her. We took leftovers back of the hummingbird cake, the groomsmen were very jealous! Maria provided all of her own cake stands, and I provided the toppers. I asked for fresh flowers on the brides cake to match the other florals, and because she works out of the same storefront as the florist (Everything but the Dress), their collaboration was seamless. Working with Maria was a dream, the cake was amazing, and I cannot recommend her enough!
Marie made us a wonderful sand castle cake! It was made fresh the day before, tasted amazing, and was very moist! The cost was GREAT for the quality. Highly recommended!
We made the mistake of doing the Choo-Choo train dance after cutting the cake. By the time the dance was done almost all the cake was gone! It was all Mrs. Vingerber's fault becaus...
e when people tasted their first bite of cake they went right back up for seconds!
We had vanilla on the bottom layer and chocolate in the middle layer and everyone wanted to try both. The chocolate ran out before we got a taste. People loved both of them and the cake was absolutely gorgeous. Beach theme with sea grass and wood fencing and graham cracker crust for sand.
Luckily the top portion (now in the freezer) is chocolate, so we'll get to eat it on our first anniversary (there may or may not be a chunk missing...)
Mrs. Vingerber's is a delight to work with and the cake tasted amazing and looked just as good.
She did wonderful. Very tasty and the cake was gorgeous.
We loved the desert bar we had at our wedding. Her sweets are amazing. This is a VERY small company and things are done informally. I was worried about the lack of contract and del...
ay in receiving responses to my emails, but she arrived on-time with everything requested (including a peanut-free item for one of the guests). We'd use her again!
we paid $4 a slice for the base price of the cake. The cake was 4 tiers. There were 2 tiers of red velvet, one tier of almond, and one tier of spice cake.

utter cream so it tasted great. The cake is made from scratch so it tasted amazing. The cake was not dry at all. The baker was easy to get a hold of when there were questions or dropping of a payment.
The not so perfect: the design of the cake I felt was too simple in the scheme of things that went on for the wedding day. Many of the guests thought it was beautiful. I wasn't specific in the shades of pink and green to use so the shades that were used did not match up to my vision.
the cake was beautiful and was a big hit!!
I used Mrs. V's for my wedding and rehearsal dinner. Her cakes were very moist and so delicious! I would recommend her to anyone as I was recommended to her by a friend! My cake...
was an almond cake with raspberry and chocolate filling with a butter cream! It was awesome!
Marie was wonderful. She came recommended from my caterer and I cannot say enough about her! I will probably never buy another cake from anyone else again! Her cake is amazing. ...
We met her and she brought us a small sample cake, a vanilla with a hint of almond...amazing! So we chose this with a buttercream and raspeberry filling for our wedding cake. She showed up on time. The cake looked and tasted amazing. Everyone loved it. She did the middle tier in a lemon flavor with buttercream, also amazing. She was professional, showed up on time and easy to deal with. She will be highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a good looking, great tasting cake! Her pricing is fantastic! I cannot say enough. I would give her 10 stars if I could!!!
