rtunately I hadn't been given a name to ask for when I got there. I got one of the first appointments but the shop was already packed. A gentleman (one of the vendors, apparently) started to help me but then sort of drifted away. I felt a bit disappointed and actually started getting emotional. I know I was late but I did try to call five minutes before my appointment time (no one answered due to the amount of business in the store). Instead of just giving up and leaving I decided to make one last attempt. I saw a woman at a computer and asked if there was anyone who could help me, apologizing for my tardy arrival. This lady was Karin, and she absolutely turned my night around. She immediately came around the counter to help me, offering me a glass of wine or champagne. She sat me down at the wedding bands and listened to my story, looked at my engagement ring (and complimented it), and immediately focused on finding me exactly what I wanted. She REALLY listened, which to me was the most important part of the process. I felt as if I mattered, that I wasn't just another sale. This is a third marriage for me but the first one where I got to make the decision about my wedding ring. Karin made the process almost magical.

She understood what I liked about each ring and recommended the most ideal rings for me! The one option I loved didn’t have a 6 prong setting (I was very picky) so she worked with their designer to get rendered images made up of how they could customize my ring. I left providing my fiancé with 2 rings options and he ended up choosing the custom piece! It is stunning. I have since sent 2 other couples her way and she has helped them find their perfect engagement rings as well. I cannot say enough good things about Mountz and Karin! 10/10 would recommend visiting to get treated like family! Oh, and their massive selection is unmatched compared to other places in the area. When I first walked into the Camp Hill location Jake McCaleb came up and greeted me, after telling him what I was hoping to do he promptly started asking questions to get a better understanding of the request. He ended up helping us through the engagement ring purchasing process as well as the wedding band process. This included teaching us about the jewelry and giving us suggestions based on his experience. He was extremely friendly and easy to work with. I feel like we got the best deals and the best quality of jewelry with Jake from Mountz. They have earned our business for years to come.

They respond to emails and phone calls well but statements seem to take a while to arrive, which can cut your time available to pay them off. My boyfriend and I were, by chance, referred to Mountz Jewelers by another jeweler for a watch battery change. At that time, we had no idea what would be in store for us!

to entering Mountz, we had been to multiple jewelry stores in the past, where as soon as the sales rep spotted a ringless finger, she would jump out of her seat and start pushing different style rings.
When we walked into Mountz for the watch battery change, my boyfriend happened to strike up conversation with one of the jewelry consultants, and that's when we knew we would be coming back to Mountz, more specifically Jake at Mountz, to find that most desired piece of jewelry in the future.
Jake wasn't pushy AT ALL, and he had no sales agenda, just an honest conversation about some different pieces that were in the store and what to look for when we were ready to look. We only had a watch battery changed that day, but as soon as we walked out of the store, we looked at each other and said, "That guy is incredible; we have to go back to him."
Well, over a year later, I've found myself back in Camp Hill to get my ring resized after my fiancé had a beautiful piece custom-made at Mountz, and it couldn't be more perfect. For as long as this store is within driving distance, Jake will be the first person we call for any future needs. We couldn't be happier with our experience here.

gagement ring. She was helpful but a little pushy. After we left, he said she was the same way when he was there before. We wanted to take advantage of the wedding band expo and the date for the Harrisburg location worked better for us. We enjoyed going to this location better and had helpful service. The advantage of the wedding band expo is there are TONS to choose from! When there might otherwise be two cases of rings to look at, they now had every countertop covered with rings. I would recommend going even if you aren't ready to purchase a ring. Look around to get an idea of what you like/don't like since there are so many to look at and try on. We also saved $600 by getting our rings during the expo compared to the ones we had previously picked out.
