start to finish, the professionalism, assistance, warmth and know-how from owners Sharon & Travis and coordinator Adrian gave us confidence that we had chosen the right place. They were a wealth of information when choosing vendors, and we didn’t hesitate to call or text when searching for a hair stylist or a local shuttle: they know everyone in the area. After working with them, we know we would have considered having the whole event at this site - ceremony and reception - had we found it before booking the wedding reception elsewhere. Their barn is spectacular - one of the prettiest venues we saw on two coasts - and we visited many. It was perfect acoustically for a friend's bluegrass band to accompany the Friday evening party. The estate grounds, even after a wet spring, were perfectly manicured, with ample parking. We held our rehearsal at their ceremony site - another gem - on a slope surrounded by purple lupines: a magical evening. The group staying at the farmhouse enjoyed the ability to visit with one another, relax in the common areas, socialize on the grounds and party late into the night at the fire pit - a perfect experience for friends coming from near & far to reconnect, and for new acquaintances to get to know one another. Many of them decided to continue their Maine vacation together even after the wedding, sharing rides to Acadia and joining their new friends for hikes and lake swims. If you're looking for an inclusive experience that's perfect for family and friends, this is the place. For beautiful Rangeley Lake views, a mountainside retreat, a stunning ceremony site and barn reception - yep- this is it. If you've never planned a wedding before, this staff has the experience, know-how and attention to detail you'll want, and won't let you forget a thing. We keep hearing from guests that this was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. That goes double for my daughter and her new husband: they were over the moon. No regrets at all – not even a little.

4th, 2025, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect weekend. Sharon and Trav went above and beyond to ensure that we did not have to worry about anything and that we could enjoy our special day. Adrian also ensured that everything was organized by communicating with our vendors and allowing us to focus on each other and our family. This team genuinely cares about you and makes you and your loved ones feel like family. The ability to have 30 of our closest friends and family with us at The Farmhouse all weekend was incredible and so unique. The Farmhouse porch also made a beautiful place for our rehearsal dinner. The Barn was a perfect place to host our reception, with its size and aesthetic. The team worked seamlessly, and we didn’t have to focus on anything other than us. We cannot share enough positive things about this venue and team it’s the best decision we made during the planning process! The pictures speak for themselves you need to go visit!

t was the one and only venue we toured! Hosting an extended weekend directly on site with accommodations for all of your closest friends and family made for an unforgettable weekend. It’s a rare occasion to have all the most important people in your life come together all at the same time, and being able to all stay together at the Farmhouse kept the party rolling all weekend long. We ate fabulous food, had adventures on the lake, played an endless amount of lawn games, and enjoyed amazing fires under the stars. We danced, we laughed, we cried, and celebrated a weekend we will truly cherish for the rest of our lives. The venue itself is of course beautiful (the pictures speak for themselves!) and the service provided by the venue manager Sharon, her husband Travis, and our day of coordinator Adrian was TOP NOTCH. They worked tirelessly to ensure our day ran smoothly, and for everything they did for us that we noticed, I am sure there is so much else they did behind the scenes to make sure we had the times of our lives. My wife and I are so happy we held our wedding at Mountain Star Estate, and we can’t speak highly enough of everything this venue has to offer. If you’re looking for a venue that can host an unforgettable event that you, your friends, and your family will never forget, then look no further. Mountain Star Estate is the choice for you!

d Adrian (venue manager + coordinator) made our wedding day/weekend so special, peaceful, and fun. Everything went so smoothly and we did not have to worry about a single thing. They were all so kind, personable, and professional. All of our guests have been since complimenting the beauty of the venue and the kindness of staff. It was so special to have our family and wedding party stay the weekend in the farmhouse. It truly is gorgeous, and feels so homey. Our wedding parties were able to get ready separately in the farmhouse due to its unique layout. The honeymoon suite is something out of a magazine - so charming and romantic. Having the lodging, ceremony, and reception all in one location makes Mountain Stare Estate so special. They also provide the tables, cutlery, plates, chairs, glasses and so much more. son and met Sharon (one of the owners) and Adrian (the venue manager and Day-of-Coordinator), we didn’t want to look any further. The Venue - Not only is the setting amazing but the venue itself is absolutely one of a kind. The barn, ceremony site, bridal suite, and farmhouse are all uniquely beautiful. The vibe is natural, rustic, and elegant, and I was able to easily bring our vision to life without having to add a lot of extras because the space was already beautiful on its own. The farmhouse is so beautiful and charming and it makes a fantastic setting for the bridal party to gather for the weekend. The fact that we could comfortably have our family with us for the whole weekend and no one had to travel between lodging, ceremony site, and reception site was so special and it considerably cut down on stress and costs. There are also numerous other lodging options very close by for the rest of your guests, so no one has to travel far. The separate bridal suite was also a huge decision-making factor for me since I could have my own beautiful and calming space (with romantic views looking up to the barn) and not have to be in the hustle and bustle of the farmhouse if I needed a moment away. It was also a fantastic space for getting ready the morning of the wedding. The People – Perhaps the biggest selling point for Mountain Star Estate is the people you end up working with. Sharon and Travis are both super friendly, excited, welcoming, and helpful. Adrian, the venue manager is also available to hire as a day-of-coordinator and she was an ENORMOUS help. She was able to guide us through all our decisions and help us with the planning and execution. She’s also an absolute delight to work with, knows all the nitty gritty details, and is just a super lovely person. Sharon and Adrian also had THE BEST suggestions for vendors. We chose to use people that they loved working with and they were all phenomenal (we used The Good Food Store, Celebration Corporation, and Riverside Greenhouse). The Value - When I first looked at this venue I was concerned about our budget, but after doing the research I discovered that there is so much value at Mountain Star Estate that it was going to be a much smarter choice than other comparable venues I had looked at. Mountain Star has its own beautiful tables (that don’t require linens), linen-style paper napkins, dishes and silverware, and gorgeous chairs so you don’t have to spend extra money on rentals. The barn is already so characterful and tasteful that you can keep your decorations fairly minimal and it will still be lovely. They have a beautiful permanent arbor at the ceremony site so no extra cost needed there. The site is completely private and everything is in one spot so you don’t have to worry about transportation (unless you want a shuttle for those staying off site). Choosing Mountain Star Estate was the best thing we could have done. Our big day was beautiful, the people we worked with were wonderful, and our guests raved about the whole experience.
