Motor City Vintage Rentals

engagement photos and we were blown away by the level of service, kindness and professionalism of Kymberly and her dad, John. They were such a dream to work with and had thought of every little detail imaginable. I cannot recommend them enough!! If you are looking for that once in a lifetime experience for your wedding or engagement pictures, book them immediately. You won't regret it!! THANK YOU Kymberly & John, you made this a day my fiancé and I will never forget!!!

vorite moments. Thank you Kimberly and family! We highly recommend MCVR to any couple looking for a beautiful vintage car to make their day all the more perfect.

ng photos. Thank you for everything !

tremely timely in her email/text responses and went above and beyond for us on our wedding day. Our car, Dean, was absolutely stunning and we will be forever grateful that they shared their passion and classic car with us!

iments it was the perfect touch to our wedding photos making them so special. -Neela and Alex

rained all day on our wedding day, but both Kymberly and John did their best to keep us out of the rain. They had umbrellas ready to go and helped with my dress, veil and bouquet. They spent the entire time getting soaked in the rain to make sure I was dry. Kymberly is so easy to work with. From the first inquiry email to the wedding day she was there to answer questions and accommodate us. When it was calling for rain the day before the wedding Kymberly got ahold of me as well as our photographer so we could discuss the rain day game plan. The fact that a plan was in place we so helpful in calming my nerves. Of course no one wants rain on their wedding day but to have vendors that are so flexible and willing to change the original plan was so helpful to us. John also stated he was willing to put the top down if we wanted to, even though it was sprinkling. (We had too much respect for “Dean” to do that, but it was a nice offer.) We were slightly ahead of schedule with pictures so Kymberly suggested we go over to the train station for a few more photos. Kymberly and John really want you to be able to maximize your time with their beautiful cars. You can really tell they love being a part of your special day. MCVR is truly the best around! Having MCVR as part of our wedding day was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

et to drive around and soak up our wedding day. It was one of the only times where we were alone and it meant so much to have those moments. Highly recommend!

rental, but received so much more. When there were issues with our photo venue or a sick family member at photos, Kymberly was right there to help sort everything out and keep me calm and relaxed (even cooling me down with a fan between photos and fluffing my dress). They truly made our day 1000x more special and easy. From the planning to the actual day meeting them, everything was way above expectations. To anyone thinking about using them, just do it. In our case, totally worth the splurge for not only the photos but the whole experience.

engagement session and Darin offered his bow tie that he was wearing! That’s the level of customer service and partnership they provide. Love them!

keep us looking fabulous. Book now if you are on the fence !

cellent condition and came with a professional driver, John, who is a co-owner of the business with his daughter Kymberly, was courteous and punctual. John took us around town from the church, to various photo spots, and finally to the reception. Kymberly was also there with John the entire day to help. She was so friendly and helpful, and she drove separately so that she didn’t have to ride in the car with John (and show up in the bride and groom’s wedding photos with the car). The car we chose to rent for our Downtown Detroit wedding was “Dean” - a 1940 black Ford Deluxe - and was the perfect addition to our wedding in the motor city. Working with Motor City Vintage Rentals was such a fun, special, and memorable experience and was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. I highly recommend Motor City Vintage Rentals to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality vintage car rental service for their special day.

very end. To say you made our dreams come true isn’t enough, Kimberly. You truly have gift, and you are by far one of the best companies/businesses we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Truly, we are honored to say that we worked with you and your father. Thank you for being you and making our day so special. We will forever remember you and your father as one of our favorite people because you showed up for us, stood by our side, and ensured we were happy on one of the most important days of our lives. Working with Kimberly and her father was one of the best decisions my husband and I could have made. She made our wedding vision and dreams come true. We are so thankful for her hard work and thoroughness within her and her father. She executed everything we wanted and even put her creativity into pictures. When we met with her, it was clear that we had to work with her if we wanted the best job done on one of the most important days of our lives. There was a ton of back-and-forth conversation (because of how big our wedding was), but it wasn't an issue for her, which we genuinely appreciate. And the check-ins via phone were more than appreciated. We always made our conversations clear and satisfied because she made it a point to ask more than once if we had any questions/issues. The way she caters to the customer's needs shows in real life. My favorite thing about working with Kimberly was that she felt like our fairy godmother. There was rain and a bunch of other chaos. (as this is normal) on our wedding day, she made us feel like any actual problem was not even there. She and her father treated us like royalty, just like the car we rented. (The Convertible Dean) We felt like we were the only two people in the universe and that this was solely about us two. (Which is hard to do when the guest list is almost 400!) But they did it! She and her father were by our side from when they arrived to when they left. To say Kimberly and her father were our favorite vendors to work with is an absolute understatement. The way they catered to us and every need was a feeling every bride and groom should feel on their wedding day. My husband and I have agreed over and over that taking photos with the Dean, Kimberly & her father was one of our top three favorite moments throughout the day! Kimberly and her father made all the nerves go away. All the uncomfortableness and not knowing what to do next or how to pose did not even arise. As people who have never been married, there are many unknowns during this day, but having them in your corner makes you feel like king and queen and that you are doing everything better than perfect. We are so thankful for how they helped us on our special day and interacted with us at our 30+ person wedding party. They never made a mistake, looked stressed out or looked confused. They took action and helped any of us at any time. Not only were they an incredible team together, but they also offered suggestions to our photographer (who they also knew and had a great relationship with) to capture the beauty even in the rain. And they sure made us look beautiful, even in the cold, rainy weather.

rly was so easy to work with from the very beginning; her positivity, responsiveness, and kindness were so welcoming. You can tell Kym loves what she does and feels genuinely excited to be a part of people's stories which meant so much to Hamilton and me. Kym was helpful in coordinating the details, offering to recommend vendors when I was early in the planning process, and helped keep the surprise a secret until the big day! (The groom loved it, his phone background is even a picture with Beau!) Kym also called me a week before the wedding to ask how I was feeling and to make sure I didn't need anything. When people ask me what my favorite part of our wedding day was, it was the 10 minutes or so that Kym and John left Hamilton and I alone sitting in the back of Beau to soak in those brief moments with just the two of us. You spend so much of your day surrounded by other loved ones and friends, keeping to a busy schedule, that you forget there might not be a lot of time for the two of you to enjoy each other and the excitement of getting married. We'll both cherish that moment forever! They also provided handheld fans, water, and snacks which was so thoughtful and went a long way because I think that was the only thing I ate for most of the day. Kym was super helpful with doing things well outside the expected-- she held my bouquet and dress, assisted our photographers, and helped coordinate our large wedding party (who absolutely loved her as well). Overall, MCVR is first class and we feel so lucky that they were a part of our wedding day! (Photos in review by: Breanne Rochelle Photography)

y of the wedding. He had snacks and waters to offer us and even held my shawl for me during pictures. They moved around to various photo spots throughout the day. Highly, highly recommend!!!

verything this past weekend. Your family's Packard was absolutely stunning, and it's something I'll always cherish and remember on my special day. Also, I very much appreciate all of the help you provided me during photos with fluffing my gown. :) You both were so incredibly sweet, and I just wanted to thank you. Would absolutely recommend "Beau" and Motor City Vintage Rentals to anyone!

Dean" which speaks for itself but Darin and Kymberly made everything as smooth as possible and delivered an outstanding experience!

enough, seriously! You are so professional, I’m very very happy I went with my gut and booked you! You truly went the extra mile for me and my fiancé and our photos look amazing. The way you helped me figure out places when my photographer wasn’t answering, rescheduling during poor weather, fixing my dress for me, providing cold water and snacks. 10/10 experience and I would do it all over again if I could!

tion to detail, and working seamlessly with us and the other vendors. They both lent a helping hand in making sure we had everything we needed, holding things, helping fix a broken boutonniere, having a calming presence and waiting with me before my first look when nervous jitters were running high! I am so grateful! We can't thank them enough for lending a hand in making our day so special! Highly recommend!!

o with their stunning silver 1941 Detroit Packard “Hamilton” vehicle, because I was going for a classic glamorous vibe. The car was absolutely perfect for what I wanted. I was able to take pictures with my husband inside the car and had the car on display in the background of our photos. Each photo I’ve seen thus far are breathtaking. Also, we were able to park the car outside of our reception entrance. This was the perfect “wow” moment for my guests as they entered the reception and it was the first thing they saw upon arrival. It not only set the tone On for a beautiful night, but set the tone for all of my photos. Additionally, guests had the opportunity to take pictures with the stunning car, which I absolutely loved. So many of our guests greeted us the day of our wedding and the first thing they raved about was how stunning and memorable the car was. Lastly, Kymberly and her dad were the sweetest and most professional people to work with. Kymberly explained everything in detail over the phone and was extremely accommodating. On the day of our wedding they provided water and snacks for us, which were greatly appreciated. Motor City Vintage is the perfect addition to every wedding if you are looking for something to wow your guests and take your wedding to the ultimate level.

re friendly and truly have the kindest hearts. Our wedding was at the DIA on a rainy and humid day. Kym had the best snacks, straws for drinking water, fans, umbrellas and many more things ready to go for the whole day. Kym and her dad stayed with us longer than their obligations and she calmed me down right before the ceremony. Kym even straightened out my dress right before I walked down the isle. In a day of such new experiences and filled with so many emotions, Kym will be your calming force and a sturdy rock for you. We will definitely hire them again and you will never regret hiring them. There are many car rental companies you can go with, but this duo is the best and our friends and family definitely agreed.

vendor to work with. Kymberly is always positive, upbeat, and extremely responsive, which was wonderful given we were planning our entire wedding in only 3 months! She was one of the best vendors we worked with – she made the entire booking process so easy, and she made us feel at ease and confident in our choice to book her. We are SO glad we did, as taking photos with their vintage car “Dean” was truly one of the highlights of our entire wedding day! Taking photos together in and next to the car felt so romantic, calming, and timeless, and we are so glad we had that special experience before the rest of the day became a whirlwind. Kymberly and her dad were so kind and welcoming – they were helpful in recommending photo ideas and they helped us get in and out of the car throughout the photoshoot. Kymberly also helped hold my dress train and flowers and helped me get to the bridal suite following the session. She truly went above and beyond to ensure I had a great wedding day and her calming presence was such a treat. Even our wedding photographer said that she’d love to have Kymberly as her assistant! Kymberly was always on her toes and ready to help with anything and everything, even if it wasn’t related to their vintage car. If only she worked as a wedding day coordinator too – I would’ve hired her for that in a heartbeat! Kymberly & her dad were also flexible and accommodating, giving us the ability to add on more time if we needed it for guests to take photos with Dean. Our guests loved taking photos with Dean before and after the ceremony, so we extended our time slot so more guests could take photos before dinner. Our guests raved about both the car and Kymberly and her dad (who even took photos for our guests!) and we are so happy with our decision to book Dean for our wedding. Our photos with Dean turned out incredible and are some of our favorite photos from our wedding, and we are so grateful for the memories we have of taking photos with the car – it felt like we were on a romantic date together (which was great to experience during the chaos of a wedding day!). We highly recommend Motor City Vintage Rentals to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind and romantic wedding experience!

Kym and her dad are quite possible the nicest people we have ever met. Kym was extremely responsive to emails and was also nice enough to provide any recommendations on other vendors. My husband and I still talk about how great they were. I wish we could relive our entire wedding day over again, just to be in their presence again. Kym, we truly cannot thank you enough for being you. Our wedding day was everything we've dreamt of and so much more because of you and your family.

e with, she was also very flexible as I had to change our rental time a bit. She reached out to me a few weeks before the wedding to confirm all the details and provide suggestions on good locations for photos with Beau. Our wedding day ended up being a very hot day and they had handheld fans for us to use, an umbrella to give us some shade between photos, cold water and snacks. Kymberly and her dad do not just show up with the car and drive you around, they are truly a concierge service! Her dad would hold my bouquet and Kymberly would help straighten out my dress and veil for photos. They were so amazing to work with and we loved having them as part of our day. I can't forget to mention Beau, he was so beautiful! Having Motor City Vintage Rentals completely elevated all of our photos. Thank you, Kimberly!

edible company and experience, a must do!! ***edit we booked a second session with motor city vintage rentals. Kym and her dad brought her amazing convertible dean to do our wedding photos at Fairlane Estate in Dearborn!!! (The first session was for engagement photos in downtown Detroit) Everything was amazing and they were incredibly generous with their time! Kym was extremely helpful while taking photos; she helped hold and arrange my dress! She helped with photo ideas and even took her own incredible “behind the scenes” videos on her phone that were awesome!!!! Above all, they are so so kind and giving! I would 100% recommend this family to anyone looking to rent an incredible car for photos.

he day of our wedding. Kymberly was extremely responsive, reviewed the cars they had for selection and walked us through the contract terms very clearly. I never once felt like there weren't any hidden costs or something I didn't trust in the process. On the day of our wedding, the driver and the car arrived at the venue on schedule and our driver also encouraged and helped us get some unique "action shot" pictures in the middle of downtown Detroit that we didn't even originally plan for. We used the car for the Baraat portion of our Indian wedding Motor City also worked collaboratively with our band who DJ'd and MC'd the Baraat. They allowed us to put a PA system in the backseat while I sat there. I have only great things to say about our experience working with Motor City Vintage Rentals and would highly recommend them to anyone considering renting a vintage car for their wedding day, especially for a Baraat if it's an Indian wedding.

ouch for your big day, don’t hesitate. We rented Hamilton and Darin was there to drive for us. After our wedding ceremony, Darin was waiting outside of our venue for us. The MCVR team communicated with our photographer ahead of our wedding day to make a plan for pictures- their combined expertise got us some amazing shots. When we got into the car, Darin offered us cold water, snacks, and even portable fans on the 95 degree day! Throughout our time, Darin checked on us regularly to offer additional food and drinks. He even held umbrellas for us and our bridal party to keep us out of the hot sun! I cannot say enough about the service and kindness the MCVR team offered. Y’all- this company is a true Detroit gem! Run, don’t walk, to book your event with MCVR!

ng driven around in a vintage Detroit car on your wedding day, Kymberly was an incredible resource leading up to my wedding and on the day-of. Kymberly helped me plan out my photo locations, inspiration and ideas which was super helpful. Day-of, Kymberly when ABOVE AND BEYOND. She carried my dress and veil around for me and helped style it during my photos. Her father was my driver for the day and was the sweetest man who you can tell is very proud of the business they have build and cars they have in their fleet. I am so glad I booked MCVR for my wedding - they did everything in their power to make my day perfect and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone getting married in Detroit.

a busy Memorial Day weekend. Kymberly was prompt, detailed, friendly and so helpful from initial inquiry to our wedding day. She helped carry my dress and lay it out perfectly for the photos to keep it from getting dirty. We will treasure these memories forever. Thanks Motor City Vintage Rentals for your top-notch service!

he both of you were. I can’t wait to share the professional pictures with you!!! Beau was a MUST for me and we are so happy everything worked out perfectly and just as we pictured it! You and your dad were so on top of everything, professional, sweet, and making sure we were taken care of with the umbrella for shade, fans to cool us off, and water to keep us hydrated! I truly cannot thank you enough. I want you to know how thrilled we were with choosing your company and we will highly recommend you to all of our newly engaged friends! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts! - Brett & Kara

ication, professionalism, attention to detail, and promptness was amazing. Renting a vintage car, a Packard, was a dream of mine and let me tell you “Beau” did not disappoint in making my day so much more special. Kymberly is very friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Her love for vintage cars and the Detroit scenery shines through every step of the way. Kymberly and her dad are determined to make your day a day to remember. Thank you for the wonderful memories which we will cherish forever.

and on. Kymberly went above and beyond. Even though I had a planner and photographer, she stuck around and helped fluff my dress, fixed my veil, checked in on me, took photos and videos of our first look and sent them to me after. I HIGHLY recommend booking Motor City Vintage Rentals for your next event!

ad no idea how much of a luxurious experience Kymberly and her dad would create for us as well. The entire experience of working with Kymberly and her dad, from the day we first reached out to even after the wedding, has been amazing. Beau was beautiful and it was so special to share our first private moment as husband and wife in such a stunning, elegant vintage Packard! Kymberly’s love for Detroit, MCVR, and her couples really shines through in every interaction. On the wedding day, Kymberly helped with SO much…from helping me maneuver around with my gown, train, and veils to having hand warmers/snacks/water ready for us….I cannot imagine the day without her and her dad. I truly appreciate Kymberly and her dad for making sure Beau was there for our special day. We love you Kymberly! I wonder if I can come up with another reason to book with MCVR in the near future ;)

ly, vintage transportation was not initially on my radar when I was working on wedding vendors, but my (now) husband ended up being so right that it was necessary for a Dearborn, MI wedding and it elevated our photos, our overall experience and our memories of the day. Kymberly is a joy to work with, and I was so thankful for her expertise setting up great photo opportunities with Hamilton, the car we used. She also was extremely skilled in maneuvering my massive wedding dress and veil both in and around the car. Her dad John was wonderful as well; he actually drove the car and the first moments of peace that Mike and I got together that day were in the car together, after the ceremony on our way to the reception. No one tells you this! But you get very little time together and it was special to share that time in Hamilton and with John. Altogether, if you are at all on the fence about using a vintage car for your wedding, DO IT. It makes all the difference in your memories of the day! And use Motor City Vintage Rentals; they are lovely, professional people and I would choose them again in a heartbeat.

getting a gorgeous vintage car, but you are getting THAT and so much MORE. My wedding was just a couple weeks ago and my best and most vivid memory from the day was sitting in the back seat of Beau driving around the city with my new husband taking in the quiet moment and scenery together. It was a very special and surreal moment. We felt like we were transported to 1940 taking a ride in our NEW Packard. Kymberly helped with so much during our photos, from carrying my train, to helping my photographer place my bridal party for photos, and even making sure we had snacks if we needed them. If you are debating spending the money on MCVR, just do it, and book it fast, you will not regret it. We thank and love you Kymberly and John. We can't wait to follow along with your future weddings and events and hope to see you both and Beau again. -Jess and Alan Siepierski

s and went above and beyond. We were so lucky to have great weather in early November. Thank you for allowing us to include "Hamilton" in our wedding experience and make our day so memorable. From the start Kymberly was a dream to work with, booking, and rescheduling were a breeze. The day of, Kymberly and her Dad were an absolute JOY to be with. They had snacks and water in the car, hand warmers for in between photos, and Kymberly's Dad had us laughing the whole way to the venue with his stories and advice. We will cherish these memories and photos forever. THANK YOU for making our day incredible! We HIGHLY recommend making MCVR a part of your special day. With love, Chandler & John

ake sure we enjoyed the experience. Kym felt like a good friend from the moment I met her. She has a way of making you feel beautiful and confident throughout the photo session. And of course, the silver 1941 Packard, “Hamilton”, was absolutely stunning. It brought so much class and elegance to our engagement photos. It was very meaningful to have a piece of Detroit’s history in our photos. Thank you so very much for everything. Getting to know you and your father (and of course having the beautiful vintage Packard in our photos) made the whole experience so much more meaningful.

loved it for my transportation to and from my first look!

nowledge of the wedding industry helped to calm any nerves we had about our big day. Once we met her and her dad we felt immediately at home. Their revived Detroit packard Hamilton is a dream come true for wedding photos. You're transported to another era every second you're with the car. We've enjoyed telling everyone and anyone about our amazing experience with MCVR and hope our wedding brings them future business because they deserve it!

ut to Darin for being so willing to stay past our rental time with you - we've been so touched by all the generosity and kindness surrounding us during our big day.

so incredibly kind, personable, and really have passion for what they do. It’s so evident in all of their post! I was able to spend a special moment with just my parents in Hamilton before my dad walked me down the isle! We took tons of beautiful photos and so many people raved about the beautiful cars. I cannot thank them enough for making our day so special! If you have the opportunity to rent Hamilton for your special event… DO IT! You won’t regret it!

au stole the show and was one of the most memorable experiences that my husband and I had on our wedding day. We feel so lucky that we were able to capture a piece of Detroit history in our wedding photos and we will cherish that forever. We would recommend Motor City Vintage Rentals to absolutely anyone!

ready for us ✔️.. then it was muggy .. they had personal fans ✔️and their cars compared to other vintage cars we looked for had working sir conditioner ✔️It was so nice and they seemed so happy for us on our special day that made it a joy to work with. I’d highly recommends then being part of your day. They were great to work with. Highly recommend.

d accommodating! They helped with photos, carrying flowers, fixing my veil, and much more. I would highly recommend them!

the Fairytale Wedding I was planning for my daughter. Beyond everything you would want from a vendor, working with Kimberley is like adding your BFF to help execute a beautiful, romantic, classic memory my Daughter and Son In-law will not only see in the amazing photos Beau was part of…it will be a treasured experience they will maintain in their Hearts for a Lifetime!

thing that we had dreamt of and more. When our families reflect back on the day, Kimberly and her father were at the very heart of it...they made us feel like royalty. They aren't just your standard transportation service; Kymberly shadowed me the entire morning leading up to the ceremony--she helped me in and out of the car, carried my dress/veil and clutch throughout the first look and wedding party photos, and made my husband and I feel like celebrities. There were so many guests who had mistaken Kymberly for my wedding planner--she was that hands-on and amazing! Thank you so very much for everything! My husband and I are already looking for an excuse to hire Motor City Vintage Rentals again! Xx
