We hired Motor City Soul to play at our wedding reception, and they absolutely crushed it!! We were so blown away by how great they sounded and how much fun they were on-stage. The...
dance floor was grooving all night long, and their music even drew in people who aren't normally big dancers! We were getting rave reviews on the band all night long, and multiple guests told us that they wanted to see them perform live again and were trying to think of events that they could hire them for, haha. Even prior to the wedding day, all the planning and logistical things were handled really smoothly by the band; they were always super friendly and responsive, and they truly cared about considering our preferences and making sure it was a great experience for my partner and I. They also learned three new songs for our "special dances" (first dance, etc.), and they absolutely crushed those! They sounded incredible. Would absolutely recommend Motor City Soul for ANYONE! Don't think twice!
I cannot recommend Motor City Soul enough. John Morgan was very communicative and helpful during the wedding planning process. The band's energy and their talent brought the house ...
down at my wedding. I saw them at another wedding I attended as a guest and I knew I had to book them when I was preparing for my wedding. They did not disappoint. Truly the highlight of the wedding.
Ross and his band were amazing for our wedding on 1/18/20!
Throughout the process, Ross was great at staying on top of details that we hadn't even considered. Extremely communic...
ative, excited, and a pleasure to work with. He was able to accommodate the few requests we had. Did a terrific job working w/ our guitarist to set him up for the ceremony and moving things along during wedding night from entrances to toasts to dances.
The band absolutely rocked. Had so many family and friends asking me how I found the band by the end of the night. The dance floor was rocking from start to finish across all age groups. They even skipped their second break to cram more music in, only taking a brief break for a large group picture which was easily done with the help of their sound tech, Shawn.
They are absolute pros, a great band with a great sound and very entertaining! Hire them!!!
I had heard good things about Motor City Soul from a friend of a friend. I contacted Ross Kadish, the band's keyboardist and leader, and was immediately blown away by his professio...
nalism, confidence, and attention to detail. He goes ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that you have a perfect experience.
Not only was Motor City Soul incredibly communicative, but they put on one hell of a show. We had EVERYONE on the dance floor-including my 88 year old grandma, who was moving and grooving the whole night.
My husband and I could not recommend them any more to anyone looking for the best wedding band!!!!
Motor City Soul was the absolute best addition to our wedding reception. They are a phenomenal band that got the crowd of a variety of ages on the dance floor. They were flexible, ...
great to work with and set the tone of the night. I would highly recommend them to anyone and can't wait to see them again soon!
As music lovers, we are very picky about our music choices. We didn't want to go with a standard cheesy wedding band so when we found MSC we were very excited and they did not disa...
ppoint! The entire band did a phenomenal job at our wedding from the MC to the musicians and singers. We had such a fun time and received SO many compliments from our happy guests. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun high energy band that will keep guests on the dance floor! Thank you Motor City Soul!! :D
Booking with Motor City Soul was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding last September. This band brings so much life to a party that our guests were talking about ...
how awesome they were for weeks after. They truly are amazing singers and musicians, and they absolutely nailed our three song choices for special dances. They kept guests out on the dance floor throughout the entire reception, and provided a liveliness with their stage presence that I just don't think a DJ would have been able to do. They also did a wonderful job MC'ing our grand entrance and toasts. They play such a wide range of music that they're able to get everyone dancing, and they even play great pre-recorded music between sets as well. They were a pleasure to work with, and I am so glad that we stumbled upon them when they played our friend’s wedding a couple years ago. Thanks so much to Motor City Soul for helping to make our wedding so wonderful and memorable!
Motor City Soul will take your wedding from another boring DJ to an event worth remembering. I could not believe how affordable they are as well! My husband and I had a rainy weddi...
ng day, so this group rolled with the punches and set up indoors. They kept everybody dancing and worked the crowd. I cannot recommend them enough! It was so special to have the first dances with them even doing a custom song for my Daddy Daughter Dance and special things like singing happy birthday to my sister. Our wedding was in East Lansing, so they do travel and again, you're getting amazing talent for the price of a photographer. Incredible! Go Motor City Soul! Thanks for playing at my wedding!
THE BEST BAND EVER!!!
I saw this band at a wedding years before I met my husband and though I had never been one to plan my wedding before being engaged, let alone before even mee...
ting the right guy, I knew that if it were to happen for me, this would be my band and GOODNESS was I glad I'd made that decision!
Not only were they extremely accommodating and professional, it's been over a year and we still have guests telling us that we had the most fun wedding they've ever been to and I attribute that 99.9% to MCS. This is the best wedding decision you'll make:)
