Morgan Renee Photography

was talking to an old friend. Our package included an engagement session and our pictures were beyond gorgeous. Morgan made my now husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera which, let me tell you, is not an easy feat! Wedding day came and she was somehow even more wonderful than when we first met! She even boogied on the dance floor with us which was so fun and goes to show how much we love her! Do yourself a favor and hire this woman, she will immediately put you at ease and deliver the most beautiful pictures you can ask for 🤍

my now husband feel comfortable in front of the camera (not an easy task). We even took additional family pictures with her based her quality of work. She became a friend during the process and I know I will continue to use her as my photographer for future pictures. I would highly recommend her to any bride!

, we knew she was our photographer. She did our engagement pictures in fall of 2019 before COVID even began. Then, when we had to pivot and postpone our 10/10/2020 wedding she photographed our "small" wedding last October. We just had our "big" wedding 4/10/2021, which was significantly bigger, but still we were only able to invite half our guest list to keep everyone safe, and she was a rockstar at helping us navigate the craziness of the big day. The pictures we have gotten back are beyond amazing! I cannot thank her enough for all the love and support she has shown to me, my husband, and my family/friends. We for sure will be going back to her in the future! Thank you Morgan for keeping me sane and making sure we were laughing the whole time :)

ave so many beautiful photos to treasure because of her. And we really enjoyed her and her husband, too! She fit right in with our families and was laid back, yet on top of it. She definitely helped to alleviate the wedding day stress and make the whole experience fun. We felt like we could actually be present and just enjoy ourselves, while she snapped pictures the whole time. 100% recommend.

rish them forever. My family will continue to use her for every occasion xoxo

f bridal portraits but soon learned that it is an experience that every bride-to-be should invest in. Morgan took the time to educate me on the process and it seemed like the best way to get another wear out of my wedding dress and not let my hair and makeup trial go to waste! Morgan is extremely personable and made the experience comfortable but also sooo fun and refreshing. She took the time to photograph me at my wedding venue but also in multiple locations. It is evident that she really loves what she does and you can visibly see that through her work. Morgan made me feel like the best version of myself and it shows through the photos she took that day. I am so thankful to have these photos to hold onto for years and years to come!

was just as excited about the wedding as we were! She met with my family and I in advance to view the venue and learn of the plans and from the moment she walked through the door on wedding day, she didn't disappoint. She was more like a relative or best friend than a person hired to capture this special day. Because of this, she truly captured the moments, the vibe, the love, the emotions...all the things that come with a wedding day...and she captured them superbly! Not a day goes by that we don't enjoy the hundreds of photos that she captured to ensure we would all remember this day for the rest of our lives! We cannot thank Morgan enough for all she did for our families and we are glad to know her and call her a friend. Highly recommend!!!

ng day and never thought twice. She went the extra mile by arriving early to scope out the venue and plan her photo op spots. That poor girl carried my wedding dress from one end to the other to get the perfect shot of my dress glimmering in the sun. Dedicated and thoughtful doesn’t even begin to cover it. She’s so prepared and organized while also being the most flexible person I’ve ever met. She brings her own props, sends you an ‘assessment’ ahead of time to really get the feel for your love story, and brings the life of the party with her everywhere she goes! Don’t miss your chance, every bride needs a Morgan!

, you’re not just getting a Photographer you’re getting that set of eyes you need to capture your perfect day. She knows how to break down that wall that makes you feel uncomfortable and shed such a beautiful light on something that you really need to capture in its best way. We are so happy to of had her and are happy to call her our friend.

It takes a glance of her blog and Instagram feed to see that experience is the same for all her clients. Morgan captured beautiful, clean, genuine photos throughout my wedding that make it easy to go back to that day-of feeling when I go through them – all of which have a cohesive look with the perfect balance of black/white vs. color and candid vs. posed. The woman is a magician. Morgan took the time to get to know me, my husband, and us a couple which made working with her all the more enjoyable. She truly cares about her couples and actively listens to what you are looking for. She is responsive, checks-in, and delivers a gallery of photos from your dreams. Not to mention she is the best hype woman for a bride on her big day! I hope to work with Morgan again in the future and will continue recommending her to anyone I cross paths with!

ake some of the photos she took for us! My family thought she was someone we knew before like a friend of the family but I had never met Morgan till the day of our wedding but we did FaceTime and text. Morgan is such a friendly and sweet girl I felt like I had a best friend taking our photos on the day of our wedding! I love everything Morgan did to make our wedding day photographs as beautiful and memorable! She got many of my family members who hate being photographed to smile and it was a genuine smile not phony smiles, she’s such an awesome human who can bring out the best smiles in all the people she comes across and I would recommend her to anyone who wants an amazing photographer for there wedding and photos that will be amazing to look at years down the road with children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren!

angle us all together to get the shots we needed. Her attention to detail is perfection, from adjusting your hair, dress, head position she will make she you look the best for your photos. We could not have asked for a better photographer to shoot our big day! Thank you Morgan and Duke!

of my initial inquiry, we instantly clicked! All the other photographers I inquired with either didn't answer or were more interested in the transaction to be made and weren't interested in my husband and I's relationship. Through the whole process, I felt like I was working with a close friend rather than a "business-client" transaction. She was truly interested in my husband and I's love story and how I would like it to be captured. I'm glad to say that after my wedding, I can call Morgan a friend! She will go above and beyond for your wedding, taking your wedding photos to another level of amazing. We recently received just the sneak peek portion of our wedding photos and I'm at a loss for words at how breathtakingly beautiful they are, I can't imagine how great the whole collection will be! Morgan (AND her hubby Duke, who helps second shoot sometimes is so sweet as well!!!!) was PERFECT for us and she'll be perfect for you! Love you so much Morgan!!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3

!

ctually thought we had been friends because of how comfortable and funny she was with everyone! The moments she captured will be something that I cherish forever. I'm so glad we booked her!

nough, but let me tell you... after reaching out to Morgan and having a few conversations she made me realize there was so much more to want and get from a photographer for your big day other than the right style of photo. From the get-go, Morgan was beyond detailed in answering every basic question I had (and researched to ask ha). She went out of her way to send me additional albums that were not on her site so I could see more examples of her work and was VERY QUICK to respond to not only my initial emails but every email after signing a contract. I had the pleasure of meeting Morgan in person way before the wedding (she recommended to ensure I was happy with my choice), once we met there was zero doubt in my head she was my girl for the big day! She was humorous, energetic, and passionate, not just about her work but about life, it was very refreshing and easy to connect with her. I walked away from our meeting telling my then fiance that I wanted Morgan to be a friend at the wedding I liked her so much! After a few weeks rolled by Morgan would check in with me just to see how planning was going and to see if there was anything I needed from her, then a few months rolled by and I received a cute thanks for "being my bride" package from her, then as the wedding neared she would reach out with a serious of questions and checklists that not only helped me think of what type of photos I want also what I having or adding to my big day. Once the big day arrived both Morgan and her assistant had me in awe. She gave direction to all party and family members, was constantly telling us to switch up our angles, making silly jokes to get genuine smiles out of us, didn't forget any tiny details - literally made my day a breeze. She took every photo I wanted, gave her opinion in all the right places, took photos at a great pace and most importantly interacted with all of my guests and shook her booty out on that dance floor. So not only did I love Morgan but all of my wedding guests still ask if I knew her from before and when they will be seeing her again. I hired a photographer for my wedding and walked away with a friend. A friend who gave every ounce of effort she had from before I even hired her, despite dealing with all of her other clients, until I received my photo album (which was stunning). All I have to say is if your reading this and still need to hire someone, look no further, you won't go wrong with Morgan. She will be one of the reasons why your big day ends up so magical!

going, and most importantly, professional. Morgan knew exactly what to say/do in order to get people to laugh (there are no fake smiles in my entire wedding album) but also knew what to say/do to make you look your best at all times. I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life. For weeks after our wedding, guests were still talking about how kind, outgoing, and talented Morgan is. I feel like I found my photographer for life. From the moment I saw our wedding album, I told my husband I will use her for all of our big moments in the future. Thank you, Morgan!

y and knows how to get such good pictures without them feeling staged. Everyone in my bridal party and family talked about how much they loved her—and some of my bridesmaids and I had a full fledged dog convo with her by the end of the night!! Morgan is the type of person who really shows that they care about you and they aren’t just “working for you.” I would recommend Morgan to anyone that is looking for a photographer because she is just the bomb.com.

organ was there. She is so professional and is so much fun. Not to mention you will fall in love with her sweet personality. She is one of my favorite humans ever. And if that alone doesn’t convince you, her pictures are absolutely stunning and she makes you feel so special and comfortable. Morgan, we cannot thank you enough for capturing the best day of our lives and can’t wait to have you capture all of our future special moments!

vailable at any time to answer questions and was so easy to communicate with. We loved having the chance to meet her during our engagement shoot and felt comfortable on the day of the wedding because we knew she knew what she was doing and that she would be able to capture every little part of the day we wanted to remember. My whole family LOVED her and had so much fun with family portraits. Morgan has a way of getting along with literally anyone and fitting in to the wedding celebration seamlessly. If you want a photographer who has crazy talent, brings her spunk and energy to any wedding celebration, and who always puts her clients first, book Morgan Renee Photography!

d managed our bridal party well. Her and Duke, her second photographer AND fiance, make the most perfect team. They both have that eye and vision that makes their photography so stunning. She did our engagement session (which turned out amazing) and I've only seen a couple of sneak peeks from our wedding, but from the looks of it I know we're going to love them.

extremely professional yet made the entire experience fun for our whole wedding party. Our guests loved to dance and Morgan was not afraid to join out on the dance floor! I cannot stress enough how wonderful she was to work with and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in the Richmond/Chesapeake area. Not to mention her photographs are stunning and she is always willing to help out in any way she can!

oing to trust just any somebody with that job; as I've heard one too many real-life horror stories about other photographers (my heart hurts for those Brides who experienced subpar photographers or for the ones who never received a single photo :()! SO.. if you're like me and on the hunt for a fantastic & reasonably priced photographer, who is also: professional, reliable, enthusiastic, detailed oriented, accommodating, personable, down-to-earth, can turn your dreams into reality, then MORGAN IS YOUR GIRL! I promise you will not be disappointed. She went above & beyond to ensure my wedding vision was transformed into an amazing, beautiful reality. She never missed a beat and did not forget a single detail I had specifically asked for! Words cannot express how much we appreciate all you did for us by capturing the first day of the rest of our lives. I will cherish those memories forever!

gagement photos because my (now) husband had known her/been friends with her in college.. but I was worried over NOTHING! She made me feel so comfortable and like we were basically sisters or something. On our wedding day she and her fiancé, Duke, were fantastic! If I wanted certain pictures they were sure to get them, they work fast (so you can get to party ASAP!), and they themselves are very cute! I can’t tell you how many people have complemented me on Morgan’s professionalism and skill since we were married (and we haven’t received our gallery yet)! She did an amazing job of catching the detail I strived to achieve while I planned and decorated for my wedding (DIY). I can’t wait for our next life event so she can capture photographs of that too! :)

ut to multiple photographers during our wedding planning and really did my research on finding the perfect photographer. When I connected with Morgan, I just knew she was the one! Her work is definitely comparable to those who have been in the business for years. I am not fond of photo session and getting my picture taken, but Morgan made us feel so comfortable and natural both in our engagement session at our wedding. My bridal party were soo impressed by her professionalism and natural spirit. Some of my bridesmaids are even thinking of using her for their family shoots! It was ridiculously hot and humid during our wedding day and we took pictures outside after the ceremony. Morgan did a fantastic job keeping our spirit up even though we were burning in our gowns and suits! We had so much fun as the reception and Morgan was there through it all, partying and capturing all the moments. My family love love love her! I can't wait to see all her work and I'm gonna miss working with her!!!

g day and I will treasure these photos for the rest of my life. Thank you Morgan!

t like I knew her for years! No words can explain the feeling I had when I got our digital album, I was so excited to share it with the WORLD. I look at the album almost everyday and re-live our wedding day through these photos. Morgan is very dedicated in making brides feel special and happy. She makes sure that every important moment, even the little moments are captured. Every bride deserves to feel the way Morgan made me feel with the photos of my dreams!

wedding day and you cannot even tell it was raining because of how amazing Morgan is! When I received my digital files, I cried all over again going through my wedding day...it was as if I were experiencing the day all over again and I've never known a photographer to capture images with feelings as well as Morgan did. I've recommended her to multiple people and multiple people have told me they will be using her whenever they get married. I've already told Morgan she's booked for any pregnancy, baby, and family pictures in my future :) You will not regret this little firecracker as your photographer! Thank you Morg <3

for putting up with tired/stressed/drunk-mess ME, and for making sure I had everything I needed all night long. 😃 We will continue to use her services for years to come!!!

ht when she said I would and she answered all my questions in a very timely manner. I will continue to use her as my photographer over and over again - can’t brag on her enough!!

ut what she does, and super friendly & fun. She made me feel so comfortable, was helpful and patient with me when I was freaking out (bridezilla), and best of all I gained a friend out of her. If that alone does not make you think to hire her, then you should also know that out of all the photographers I searched through, she was the most decently priced for her quality of work. So hire Morgan, you won't regret it!!! :)

! She went the extra mile, I'll always recommend her because she's the best in the 757 & beyond!! ❤️

I was super nervous how many quality pictures we could take in this special circumstance, but Morgan totally nailed it! She was very professional and friendly to all of our guests and attentive to our expectations. Her price was also reasonable and we got our pictures pretty quickly just as she promised. I totally recommend Morgan!

to make sure that she preserves every little detail of your special day. From the moment you meet her, you know your in good hands. Morgan has such a wonderful energy that makes you feel safe, calm and excited. She did our engagement pictures, my bridal, and the wedding and did not disappoint! I couldn't be happier with the results. Not only do you walk away happy to have married your best friend with perfect pictures to document, you walk away feeling that you've made a new friend in Morgan. We'll definitely be coming back to Morgan for all of our photography needs! She's truly a blessing.

l very comfortable the entire time. She truly went above and beyond and I would recommend her to anyone!

nd decorated every detail myself so it was important she took the time to make sure I had the memory of it. I love the soft elegance and vintage look of her photos, and how she seems to capture the magic of it all in every photo! On top of that she is so friendly and easy going it made everyone at ease and the picture process very easy and laid back :) Which is important on such a high-stress high-emotion kind of day! I have recommended Morgan to many of my friends and family, and have even had many ask me for her information after seeing her talent at my wedding. You really need to look no further when you meet her and if you have doubts, her photographs speak for themselves! Thank you so much Morgan and I cannot wait to see my possibly one-day pregnancy and family photos you would take ;)
