I had the pleasure of working with Kelsey for my wedding. The wedding venue we had picked required a day-of-coordinator. As someone who is type A, had a vision in mind, and wanted ...
to keep control of the execution, I was hesitant to hand over the reins to anyone. Luckily, I stumbled upon Kelsey and Moonrise Weddings online and I couldn't have been more satisfied! From the start, just browsing her website to our first meeting, I could tell Kelsey had her shit together. She was professional, organized, and friendly. She listened carefully to every little thought and detail I was imaging and clearly communicated how she could step in, add to, and help take my vision to the finish line. Immediately, I felt reassured that everything was going to run smoothly. The day our wedding rolled around, it was so nice to be able to relax, get ready, and watch the magic unfold. Kelsey nailed it! Everything looked and played out exactly how I wanted it to! Look no further for your wedding planner or day-of-coordinator! Kelsey and her team got you covered :)
Thinking about a wedding planner or day of coordinator? Look no further. Kelsey is your gal! I did extensive research on all my vendors. I wanted my wedding to be perfect, (It was!...
!) but doesn’t every Bride? I had phone calls and exchanged emails with many wedding planners before choosing Moonrise Weddings. I wanted to design and plan my wedding but I did not want any friends or family members to have to run the show or lift a finger on my wedding day. In the beginning, my fiancé didn’t think we needed a day-of-coordinator, but once we started to book the tasting, and talk about the day-of timeline, he couldn’t be more appreciative of having her on our team. Following his realization of needing Kelsey, he would ask me “Well, what does Kelsey think?” and “Let’s run this by Kelsey”. She was more than a “day-of-coordinator”, she went above and beyond for us. We invited her to the tasting but just as a friend to tell us if something was tasty or not. She took pictures and notes so we could refer back. She asked the catering manager important questions that we didn’t even think to ask! Fast forward to the day of the wedding at The Four Seasons Hotel. It was perfect! She kept us on schedule and made sure everything went smoothly. She is professional, super friendly, quick to respond, punctual, knowledgeable and I could go on.....bottom line-we are incredibly thankful we had her on our team for the most special day ever!
I found Moonrise Weddings through a friend of a friend only 2 months before our wedding. It was last minute because we had to cancel our main big wedding in upstate NY due to COVID...
and decided to keep our og date and have a backyard wedding in Austin TX of about 50 people. I truly CANNOT explain how big of a lifesaver Kelsey was to us. You would think that 50 people in a backyard wedding would be manageable but honestly, we couldn't have pulled it off without her in the lead. We were dealing with a DIY wedding, weather variables, and a remote private location in the hill country with limited cell service. She handled all the weekend of hurdles with patience, kindness and a can-do attitude. Also not to mention, performed up to par under pressure. I would highly recommend Kelsey and her team for any event in the future and will refer her to any friends getting married in the ATX area in the future!

She’s your ultimate hype woman. She always made herself available to me through texting, emails or phone calls to answer any question I had. Hire Kelsey, I promise it’s the best decision!

dn't think we wanted a planner, but I ended up feeling so overwhelmed a month and a half out we decided to go for it. She was very responsive and helpful leading up to our wedding and on the day of she handled everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. She even had a cake cutting set in her trunk when we realized the caterer didn't have one. She was also calming to be around, which was important to me. Thank you Kelsey!!

Our wedding was set for Sept 12,2020, we had planned to handle most of it ourselves since it was a second wedding for both of us.
Then Covid19 hit: the venue changed, menu changed...
, head count changed, we felt like we were doomed. At this point we knew we needed professional help.
Moonrise Weddings was right there for us. They found us a venue that would fit in with Covid restrictions. They handled everything! The venue, floor plan , flowers , set up, and even a beautiful suite for "the girls" to get ready in.
Our wedding was perfect! We had a beach front ceremony, and a reception overlooking Lake Tahoe.
Moonrise Weddings was flawless, professional and on top of everything. We highly recommend them, and thank them for our perfect day!
