Upon first zoom call my husband and I knew that Taylor from M.A.E would be wonderful to work with as our day of coordinator. She is kind, warm, and professional.

ith the timeline that Taylor created and her ability to handle whatever came her way, I knew that I did not have to worry about anything other than experiencing the joy of marrying the love of my life and celebrating with our friends and family.
I knew all of the moving parts of the wedding day were safe in her hands.
I was lucky enough to be recommended Monge Amore Events, and it was BY FAR one of the greatest things that could have happened! After my first meeting with Taylor Toerien, I immedi...
ately knew I was hiring her. I had heard countless stories from people I know about negative experiences with wedding planners and coordinators, but after meeting Taylor, I had absolutely zero doubt that my experience would be anything like that. And I was right!
Monge Amore Events is truly amazing. They are incredibly detailed, thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely care about every little aspect of your wedding. Taylor specifically is a literal superwoman. During my planning process, she was pregnant, gave birth, and began raising a newborn, all while managing multiple clients but ALWAYS responding to my messages and making sure I was taken care of. To this day, I have no clue how many clients she even had because she made me feel like I was the only one, she has incredible time-management skills! And beyond how good she is at her job, Taylor genuinely felt like a sister and friend throughout the entire experience. I always wanted to hear her thoughts and opinions because I truly valued her input and trusted her judgment. And thank goodness I did because I hired some of her top recommended vendors and they were AMAZING, just like her.
I could go on forever about everything she did for me, but one last thing I have to mention is how incredible my actual wedding day was because of her. If you're planning a wedding and wondering if you can do it all yourself....dont.
The day after my wedding, I was bummed when I realized I didn't grab anything I would have liked to for keepsake purposes. But when I got home and started unpacking, I realized Taylor had packed up EVERYTHING from the reception and saved it all for me!! My menus, place cards, photo booth pictures, and all the little keepsakes I wanted for my scrapbook. I was too distracted to think to grab these things at the time, and I was soo relieved and happy she had done that for me. I was not surprised since she is a literal pro at what she does, but it was just the cherry on top of everything she has done for me. And really goes to show how important and useful having a planner is!
My wedding day was everything I could have dreamed of, and so much of that is because of Taylor and her team. Monge Amore Events is out here changing lives!! I truly couldn't recommend them more! Thank you for giving me something soo special to look back on for the rest of my life. Love you Taylor, I miss you already!!
xoxo Kelsey and Zachary Kaiser
I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience with M.A.E. Ashley and Mikala were absolutely incredible from start to finish and made our wedding experience so much easier ...
and more enjoyable than I ever could have imagined.
Ashley was our wedding planner, and she was amazing at making sure we thought through every detail. She brought up things I never would have even known to consider, kept everything organized, and somehow always seemed to be one step ahead. She made the entire planning process feel manageable and never overwhelming, which was such a gift.
Mikala was our day-of coordinator, and she was just as incredible. On the wedding day, I genuinely felt like I could relax and enjoy myself because I knew she had everything under control. She handled all of the little details, kept everything moving smoothly, and made sure everything we'd worked so hard to plan actually came together perfectly.
Together, Ashley and Mikala were the absolute dream team. They were professional, organized, attentive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day special. Our wedding was everything we hoped it would be, and I know a huge part of that was because of them.
If you are considering hiring a wedding planner or day-of coordinator, I cannot recommend M.A.E. enough. They went above and beyond, thought of things we never would have thought of ourselves, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and exciting. I am so incredibly grateful for everything they did for us and would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!
Amazing coordination for ~300 person Persian/American Jewish wedding at Laguna Cliffs Marriott in June 2025

th Coordination and Partial Planning for our ~300 person Persian Jewish wedding at Laguna Cliffs Marriott in Summer 2025. We’re writing this just over a year after our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with how the day went, and with the planning process leading up to the event. We came to MAE with most of our vendors already selected, and Taylor helped us find and work with great vendors for our rentals and flowers. Some specific items that continue to stand out to us over a year later about Taylor in the planning process leading up to the event:
She helped us immensely with coordinating and negotiating with the venue, and helping us to learn how to negotiate with them.
She excelled at building relationships with us, our parents, and the vendors, including the ones we had already had contracts with. Of particular note is how much our contact at the hotel liked her! Because of their relationship, the hotel said yes to things that they had previously said no to us about, and we were especially grateful for that!
Set up and coordinated a ceremony rehearsal, and even though our event space was occupied during the rehearsal time, she pivoted and ensured that everyone knew what they were doing.
On the day of the event, Taylor and the MAE crew kept things moving in an amazing fashion, while having it almost feel like they weren’t there (in a good way)
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception went off without a hitch!
Coordinated across a tapestry of diverse vendors to ensure all schedules were aligned, and that they coordinated well with each other.
We had a lot of help from the groom’s brother and other family friends for things like tech, signage, and decor on the day, and Taylor coordinated with them masterfully.
Last but not least, Taylor saved the day by quickly finishing the bride’s bustle within a minute with some masterful safety pin work, after 4 of the bride’s friends/family crew (which included the wedding dress shop owner!) struggled with it for 20+ mins. The bustle didn’t budge the whole night, even after 6+ hours of dancing!
Needless to say, we highly recommend Taylor and MAE! Taylor, thank you for all of your hard work, patience, and care. The day was absolutely perfect!
I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Mikala. She was our day-of coordinator, but her support began six months before our wedding day, and I honestly cannot imagine going ...
through the wedding planning process without her. She was such an incredible part of our experience from beginning to end!! Mikala was so attentive throughout the entire process. She was always available to answer my many questions and emails and consistently gave the best advice. She kept me organized with reminders and check-ins, making sure I stayed on top of everything from our seating chart and decor to all the little details I could have easily forgotten. She genuinely made my life so much easier!!
She also attended all of our venue meetings with us and was incredibly attentive to every detail. She made sure we understood everything, asked questions we didn't think to ask, and never let us leave a meeting feeling confused or unsure about what came next. I always felt like we were in the best hands with her. One of my favorite things was the timeline Mikala created for our wedding day. It was so thoughtfully planned and truly perfect for us. She kept us on track throughout the entire day without ever making us feel rushed or overwhelmed. Everything flowed so naturally and seamlessly, and we were able to actually be present and enjoy every moment. The timeline was absolutely flawless and made our wedding day everything I had ever hoped for!! <3
On the actual wedding day, Mikala was absolutely incredible!! She handled everything behind the scenes, including all of the last-minute details, so we could simply enjoy our wedding. Our day truly went perfectly. I genuinely cannot name a single thing that didn't go right because Mikala was so attentive and on top of everything. She made sure every detail was taken care of- even making sure we had our signature drinks and food ready for us before we entered cocktail hour so we can enjoy a little moment together as husband and wife (': I mean...the sweetest EVER!!!
I also have to give a shoutout to her two day-of assistants, Regina and Julia! They were both so helpful, kind, attentive, and amazing throughout the night. The three of them together were truly the dream team. Knowing that we had such an incredible team taking care of everything allowed us to relax, celebrate, and enjoy our wedding without worrying about a thing.
Beyond being amazing at what she does, Mikala has the sweetest energy. She is kind, reassuring, organized, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her couples. You can tell how much pride she takes in her work and how invested she is in making your wedding everything you dreamed it would be!!
I am forever grateful that Mikala was recommended to us and that we were able to have her as our planner. It truly feels like it was meant to be! Choosing Mikala and M.A.E. for our wedding was hands down one of the best decisions we made. If you are considering hiring a wedding planner, choose Mikala and M.A.E. It will be one of the best decisions you make and you absolutely will not regret it!!
Mikala- thank you for making our wedding day absolutely perfect and for taking such amazing care of us. We are forever grateful for you and will sing your praises forever! <3
Hiring Taylor at M.A.E. was easily the best wedding decision we made!
From our very first conversation, Taylor was kind, direct, and clear about expectations, exactly what we w...
ere looking for. We wanted someone real, not overly bubbly or salesy, and we immediately connected with her honest and straightforward approach.
Not only did she have strong relationships with our vendors, but her experience and reputation within the wedding industry were evident from day one. Throughout the planning process, we constantly heard praise about her professionalism and the quality of her work. We were also able to receive vendor discounts through M.A.E., which was an added bonus and a testament to the trust, respect, and strong relationships Taylor has built throughout the industry.
As our wedding approached, Taylor was incredibly dialed in. She checked every box, kept us on track, and made sure every vendor aligned with our vision and budget.
Like any wedding, there were schedule changes and unexpected challenges, but Taylor handled every bit of the chaos seamlessly. Because of her leadership and coordination, our wedding never skipped a beat. In fact, thanks to Taylor and her team, our wedding was even better than we could have dreamed.
What truly sets Taylor apart is her ability to make decisions confidently, communicate clearly, and take action quickly. She is someone you can completely trust to take care of you on your wedding day. I know she managed countless moving pieces, last minute changes, and behind-the-scenes mishaps, but she handled everything so swiftly and gracefully that we never even noticed. Because of that, I was able to be fully present, relaxed, and truly enjoy every moment of our wedding day, which is one of the greatest gifts a planner can give a bride.
Taylor is incredibly sweet, and you can tell her work comes from the heart. She not only excels at what she does, she genuinely loves it, and that passion shines through in every detail.
Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives, and it would not have been the same without Taylor and the M.A.E. team. If you’re looking for a wedding planner who is experienced, professional, trustworthy, kind, and exceptionally organized, Taylor is your girl.
We cannot recommend Taylor and M.A.E. highly enough. They helped bring our dream wedding to life, and we will be forever grateful🙌🤍
If you’re looking for an event coordinator who is organized, creative, patient, and genuinely cares about making your vision come to life, I cannot recommend Taylor from Monge Amor...
Events enough.
Our family hired Taylor to coordinate my grandfather’s 100th birthday celebration at the Grand Gimeno in Orange, CA. She helped us pull together a very elaborate event in an incredibly short amount of time. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to source decor and rentals, coordinate all of the moving pieces, and ensure every detail reflected the vision we had for such a special milestone.
To make things even more challenging, our family was constantly changing the guest count, adding new ideas, and making last minute adjustments throughout the planning process. Despite all of the changes, Taylor remained incredibly patient, accommodating, and provided solutions where necessary. She never made us feel like we were asking too much and always found a way to make everything happen.
On the day of the event, she kept us on schedule, managed everything seamlessly behind the scenes, and created a beautiful setup that exceeded our expectations. Because of Taylor and her amazing team, our family was able to truly enjoy celebrating my grandfather instead of worrying about the logistics.
We are so grateful for everything Taylor and Monge Amor Events did to make such an important day unforgettable. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for an exceptional event planner and coordinator.

From the moment I connected with Taylor on an introductory email, I knew she was going to be my right hand gal. As someone who is incredibly Type A and meticulous with the details,...
I was so happy to have met someone and a team that is so thoughtful and detail oriented just in the initial introduction stage. If you want a white-glove experience from start to finish, then MAE is the way to go.
The team at Monge Amore Events are experts, and they come to the table with a breadth of knowledge and resources that truly bring the utmost transparency for what you can expect in planning such a special day/weekend in your life. Verbatim, I told Taylor that "THIS is the kind of transparency and attention to detail I’ve been looking for in a planning team."
Once we started working together, it was like clockwork and it truly felt like I was working with a friend - someone I could trust, someone who could be honest with me, someone who celebrated with me. That's also just Taylor's nature - she is kind, easy to talk to, a go-getter, and your champion through to your big day.
Taylor and her team are truly the best communicators, problem solvers, and the ones I would time and time again trust to execute a flawless event - most importantly, your wedding day. I'm so glad I met Taylor and made a new friend along the way.
Taylor, we absolutely adore you - you deserve all the flowers, girl.
Working with Mikala as our wedding coordinator was truly one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding process. At first, I was a little skeptical about hiring a ...
coordinator because I thought I could probably handle everything myself, but Mikala made the entire experience so much easier and smoother from start to finish.
She was always there to answer any questions we had at any time, no matter how big or small. Throughout the planning process, she made sure we felt supported, organized, and most importantly, not stressed. On the day of the wedding, I was able to fully enjoy every moment because I knew everything was being handled so seamlessly behind the scenes.
One thing that really stood out to us was how thoughtful and attentive she was throughout the entire day. When we arrived at the reception, she already had appetizers and our favorite drinks waiting for us so we could actually take a moment to enjoy everything. Later in the night, we had a variety of ice cream sandwich flavors for dessert, and during one of our previous meetings, Mikala had asked what our favorite flavors were. While we were out on the dance floor enjoying the night, she personally brought us our favorite ice cream sandwiches without us even having to think about it. It was such a small but meaningful gesture that showed how much she truly cared about making our experience special.
Mikala went above and beyond to make our day perfect, and I truly can’t imagine going through the process without her. If you’re debating whether or not to hire a wedding coordinator, do it — and hire Mikala from MAE! You will not regret it!

They all take their role extremely serious and will be sure to make your day a dream. There are not enough words for the impact they all had on me. I got so many compliments on how organized the day felt. They are extremely professional, personable and kind. I can’t rave enough about this group of ladies!!!! Throughout planning, Taylor was extremely organized and on top of every detail. She seamlessly handled communication and coordination with all of our vendors, ensuring everything was aligned—from insurance and timelines to setup and rehearsals. We were especially grateful for her familiarity with our venue, which gave us so much confidence going into the big day.
Because of scheduling constraints, I wasn’t able to be involved in any of the setup, so I had to fully trust Taylor to bring everything to life—and she exceeded every expectation. Everything was executed exactly as I had envisioned, down to the smallest details.
Our wedding day felt absolutely perfect and ran so smoothly. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing, which allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. We received so many compliments from our guests, and we truly credit Taylor for making it all happen.

They made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day which was the absolute best and less stressful.

She anticipated needs before they came up, handled details quietly and efficiently behind the scenes, and made sure every moment flowed exactly as it should. Knowing she was there allowed us to be fully present and truly enjoy our day without worrying about anything at all.
What made Ashley stand out even more was the personal care she showed beyond just coordination. After our wedding, she sent us the most thoughtful message that truly meant so much to us. That level of kindness and intentionality speaks volumes about who she is—not just as a wedding coordinator, but as a person. It was clear that she genuinely cared about us and our experience, not just the checklist.
Ashley is professional, warm, incredibly organized, and deeply invested in making each couple’s day feel special and personal. Our guests kept commenting on how organized, beautiful, and enjoyable to day was and continue to tell us to this day! We owe that entirely to Ashley and the entire Monge Amore team. Her experience and knowledge were invaluable. Anytime we had an idea or vision, she worked with us to make it happen in the best and most seamless way possible.
Mikala is also so warm and approachable, which made it easy to ask her all our questions (even the dumb ones). It always felt like chatting with a friend instead of a vendor, which made the entire process so much less stressful. Communication was flawless. She replied quickly to emails and texts and was always happy to hop on a call when needed. On the wedding day, Mikala was the absolute MVP. Every last-minute issue was met with her calm "don't worry, I've got this," and she truly did. She and her team had everything handled so perfectly that we didn't have to lift a finger. We got to enjoy every second of our wedding and literally ride off into the sunset (because they packed everything up for us at the end of the night!!). We will forever be grateful. So much love for Mikala! 💕

e. She was the ‘Type A’ queen that every bride needs. She seamlessly communicated and worked with all of our other vendors, so it took such a weight off of our shoulders. Taylor met with us whenever we needed her and helped us with basically any question we had about planning our wedding. Something we really loved about MAE was also that they often work closely with so many popular venues in Southern California. Our wedding venue had worked with MAE so many times, which was amazing for so many reasons. We felt like we were in the best hands from start to finish. Taylor and her team set up ALL of our wedding decor as well on the day of. I curated tons of decor (between lamps, signage, staging props, etc) so I was always a little worried that we’d probably need to send a bridesmaid or groomsman to help set up, but Taylor and her team handled everything perfectly and precisely. We are still so grateful for Taylor and the entire MAE team and how they truly were a huge reason why our day was absolutely perfect. I had always tempered expectations for our actual wedding day, because it’s natural that some things will go differently than you expected - However, we literally had a perfect day. My husband and I have only beautiful memories from our wedding day and I cannot believe how lucky we are to be able to say that.

We are beyond grateful for Taylor's work and professionalism and if you want peace of mind on your wedding day, I cannot recommend M.A.E and Taylor enough!

al day of helper so we landed with 3 lovely MAE girls at our wedding reception. To start this off this was one of our last vendors that we brought on because our wedding location required at least a day of coordinator (Rancho Las Lomas). And on top of that what we had in our budget for this service was under where the market rate was falling. So, we came into this a little skeptical on adding the service. However, when it was all said and done it was the best investment and I cannot say enough times how AMAZING the MAE team was for our wedding.
They were extremely helpful in the planning process for the last minute things we were not thinking of and even better super quick with their responses. They assisted us with the tasting for our catering, the final walkthrough with our venue, coordinating and organizing the last few things with our vendors, preparing our day of timeline, and just being helpful for any other questions we needed. If the prep was not enough the day of they could not have been more helpful.
Kylia and Ashley worked with all our vendors to ensure everything was set up and ready to go, helped our guests, and most importantly were so attentive to us during the reception that by the time we sat down for dinner myself and my husband were actually a bit full because we had too many appetizers (literally unheard of). If you are on the fence about getting a coordinator or who to get you should for sure do it and 100% need to go with MAE.
