He was super social, easygoing, and professional while also taking the time to chat with our guests and make everyone feel comfortable. He truly helped make our wedding night even more fun and memorable. He was very easy to work with, super personable, set the vibe for cocktail hour, dinner music, and dance floor exactly as requested and our dance floor was full the entire night. At that point, we knew we had to spend the extra money to have him specifically and I can confidently say that it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Before the wedding, I had a two-hour conversation with Desmond and even then, I could tell how much he genuinely cared about making our day special. But what really stood out was how incredible he was on the actual wedding day. Desmond was in almost constant contact with me throughout the day, making sure everything was going smoothly and that the timing was exactly where it needed to be. From the ceremony to the reception to our grand entrance, he was on top of everything. He provided the microphone for our officiant, handled our ceremony music, our entrance and exit music, our introduction, and our cocktail hour music and he absolutely nailed every part of it. We gave him a playlist and trusted him to read the room, and he completely delivered. The energy on the dance floor was incredible. He truly brought the vibes, and so much of the energy and excitement throughout the reception was because of him. What meant the most to me though, was that he didn’t just stay behind his equipment and do his job. He came over to check on us multiple times during the reception to make sure we were doing okay, that everything was going smoothly and to ask if there was anything else he could do for us. As a bride who had spent so much time worrying about every little detail, having someone who was actively looking out for us meant more than I can explain. Desmond went above and beyond, not just as a DJ, but as someone who genuinely cared about making sure we had the best wedding day possible. He helped keep everything moving, kept the energy high and took so much stress off of us. I truly cannot thank Desmond enough. If you’re considering this company and have the option to request Desmond, DO IT. The extra money was absolutely worth it, and I would choose him again in a heartbeat. What impressed us most was how well he read the room. We had provided a playlist for the reception, but when he noticed the dance floor starting to slow down, he quickly adjusted the music selection and got people dancing again. It was clear that he understood how to keep guests engaged and create a fun atmosphere for people of all ages. Instead of simply playing a predetermined playlist, he actively paid attention to the crowd and made adjustments throughout the evening to keep the energy high. The sound quality was excellent, everything worked flawlessly, and we never had to worry about a thing. nd we thought we would be able to handle the music/prompts by ourselves. A little over a month before the date we decided it would be too much for us to take on and we didn’t want to inconvenience our guests. Our wedding planner suggested MITDJs and they actually had availability so close to the wedding date!! The communication throughout the booking process was fantastic. Both Joe (Owner) and Desmond (Wedding Planning, Lead DJ) were amazing! They had a very quick response time to any questions or concerns that arose. DJames/James contacted us a few days before the event to go over the questionnaire that we had to fill out to make sure we were all on the same page. We went over the ceremony prompts, the song choices for the processionals, Marriage License Signing and timing with careful consideration. On the day of the ceremony, amongst all the chaos, James was early to set up. He walked the ceremony/reception grounds with me (groom). He listened carefully to what we envisioned. He brought up a few questions of things we hadn’t really considered, and I didn’t have an answer. In his professionalism, he said that he knew what to do and he’d fill in as he felt he needed to. He delivered 110%!! We were able to make some VERY last minute (1 hour before ceremony start time) changes to our playlist we sent him. It was never an issue. He played everything we had on our Must Plays list, took requests from our guests, interacted with everyone, was able to make subtly changes on the fly for the unexpected, brought in a light show (!!!) that we did not ask for or expect. James was the perfect match for our wedding. And, pun intended, was literally the icing on the cake. He MADE our wedding seamless. He MADE the reception fun for everyone. OH! And in a crisis where we ran out of batteries for our hanging lights he not only gave them to our planner to use, but also help string the lights because they were too high up for them to reach! An all around stand up guy. If you’re hesitant about using Moments In Time Disc Jockeys for your event, don’t be! You’ll be in the best hands possible. Have full faith that they will cater to your wants and needs. You will NOT be let down. And if you’re able to request a DJ, request DJames / James Littell!!
